Book excerpt: You will discover why those that follow Judaism do not want you to read this book and do not want you to listen to Tazadaq. Could it be that they want you to remain on an abase level without knowledge of self to prevent us from ascending to the highest level of vibration? This book is dedicated to my precious gem Elisheva, my wife, a YHWH sent blessing. A perfect example of what a righteous woman should look like. I also dedicate it to my mother, daughters, sons Yahsharahla, and all of our people that battle spiritual wickedness and those that died in the struggle battling this beast that is often clothed in human form. Mankind has attempted to conceal the truth from man for years because he is not an original man but a kind of man that has proven to be a ? vessel of wrath fitted for destruction'. Finally truth, peace, freedom and justice to my dear beloved so-called Black, Hispanic and Native American people aboard we must reunite as a nation. Qam Yahsharahla!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the wake of the civil rights movement, a great divide has opened up between African American and Jewish communities. What was historically a harmonious and supportive relationship has suffered from a powerful and oft-repeated legend, that Jews controlled and masterminded the slave trade and owned slaves on a large scale, well in excess of their own proportion in the population. In this groundbreaking book, likely to stand as the definitive word on the subject, Eli Faber cuts through this cloud of mystification to recapture an important chapter in both Jewish and African diasporic history. Focusing on the British empire, Faber assesses the extent to which Jews participated in the institution of slavery through investment in slave trading companies, ownership of slave ships, commercial activity as merchants who sold slaves upon their arrival from Africa, and direct ownership of slaves. His unprecedented original research utilizing shipping and tax records, stock-transfer ledgers, censuses, slave registers, and synagogue records reveals, once and for all, the minimal nature of Jews' involvement in the subjugation of Africans in the Americas. A crucial corrective, Jews, Slaves, and the Slave Trade lays to rest one of the most contested historical controversies of our time.

Book excerpt: Explore the identity of Jacob-Israel, and uncover evidence that reveals the true identity of Esau-Edom. The descendants of Jacob, the Negroes, were once scattered to the four corners of the earth, including into the continents ofAfrica and the Americas through diaspora and slavery. Those who bought and sold the children of Israel to the Americas were the descendants of Esau. Since then, they have played an integral role in the demise of Jacob-Israel. Today, Edom-Rome rules the earth. However, there are many Biblical prophecies relative to Esau-Edom and the role he plays in the "last days". Therefore, it is crucial to identify who the descendants of Esau are. This book answers the questions: Who is Esau-Edom? Who are the Edomites? When, Where and How did the Edomites originate in History? and What effect did/does Esau-Edom they have on the chosen people of YAHUAH, the Hebrew Israelites?

Book excerpt: This book traces the history of the ancient Khazar Empire, a major but almost forgotten power in Eastern Europe, which in the Dark Ages became converted to Judaism. Khazaria was finally wiped out by the forces of Genghis Khan, but evidence indicates that the Khazars themselves migrated to Poland and formed the cradle of Western Jewry. To the general reader the Khazars, who flourished from the 7th to 11th century, may seem infinitely remote today. Yet they have a close and unexpected bearing on our world, which emerges as Koestler recounts the fascinating history of the ancient Khazar Empire. At about the time that Charlemagne was Emperor in the West. The Khazars' sway extended from the Black Sea to the Caspian, from the Caucasus to the Volga, and they were instrumental in stopping the Muslim onslaught against Byzantium, the eastern jaw of the gigantic pincer movement that in the West swept across northern Africa and into Spain. Thereafter the Khazars found themselves in a precarious position between the two major world powers: the Eastern Roman Empire in Byzantium and the triumphant followers of Mohammed. As Koestler points out, the Khazars were the Third World of their day. They chose a surprising method of resisting both the Western pressure to become Christian and the Eastern to adopt Islam. Rejecting both, they converted to Judaism. Mr Koestler speculates about the ultimate faith of the Khazars and their impact on the racial composition and social heritage of modern Jewry. He produces a large body of meticulously detailed research.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What are the Biblical Feast days, and how we are to celebrate them? We have been commanded to keep the Feast days forever. We read in Leviticus 23:2 ELOHIM speaking to Moses; it says, “2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, Concerning the feasts of YAHUAH, which ye shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my feasts.” Did you notice that YAHUAH says, “2...my feast....” This is key; we must understand this; these Feasts are His; we are instructed to keep them in a particular way for a reason. Leviticus 23:4 reads, “4 These are the feasts of YAHUAH, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons.” Read Leviticus 23:44, which states, “44 And Moses declared unto the children of Israel the feasts of YAHUAH.” We see, once again, these are YAHUAH feasts. These Feasts have to do with Seasons; why is that important? 1st Chronicles 23:31 states, “31 And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto YAHUAH in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before YAHUAH.” Read 2nd Chronicles 2:4, which tells us, “4 Behold, I build an house to the name of YAHUAH my ELOHIM, to dedicate it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual shewbread, and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts of YAHUAH our ELOHIM. This is an ordinance for ever to Israel." These Feasts given by YAHUAH to the Israelites are prophetic Feast of events that would take place in the future, and some cases have already taken place. We can go even further back in the Scriptures to the book of Exodus 23:14-17, where ELOHIM tells us, “14 Three times thou shalt keep a feast unto me in the year. 15 Thou shalt keep the feast of unleavened bread: (thou shalt eat unleavened bread seven days, as I commanded thee, in the time appointed of the month Abib; for in it thou camest out from Egypt: and none shall appear before me empty:) 16 And the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou hast sown in the field: and the feast of ingathering, which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labours out of the field. 17 Three times in the year all thy males shall appear before YAHUAH ELOHIM.” ELOHIM is telling us; we shall do this. Note that ELOHIM’s Feast can be found in the Old and the New Testaments; the Messiah and His disciples kept them. Matthew 26:17 states, “17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to YAHUSHUA, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?" YAHUSHUA is telling His disciples to go and find a place that He can eat a Passover with them. Paul connected YAHUSHUA with the sacrifice (the sacrifice of the Messiah) with the Passover. Read 1st Corinthians 5:7, which says, “7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may be a new lump, as ye are unleavened. For even Mashiach our passover is sacrificed for us.” We have just given a peek at what the Scriptures are saying about the importance of the Feast. It is equally important to know how we are to celebrate. This excellent book explains the what and the how aspects of the Feasts days that YAHUAH gave the Israelites. The book will explain how YAHUSHUA fulfilled the first 3 Feast and the 4th one was fulfilled on Pentecost - to the very day and hour! We are awaiting the Fall Feast. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What is a homeland and when does it become a national territory? Why have so many people been willing to die for such places throughout the twentieth century? What is the essence of the Promised Land? Following the acclaimed and controversial The Invention of the Jewish People, Shlomo Sand examines the mysterious sacred land that has become the site of the longest-running national struggle of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries. The Invention of the Land of Israel deconstructs the age-old legends surrounding the Holy Land and the prejudices that continue to suffocate it. Sand’s account dissects the concept of “historical right” and tracks the creation of the modern concept of the “Land of Israel” by nineteenth-century Evangelical Protestants and Jewish Zionists. This invention, he argues, not only facilitated the colonization of the Middle East and the establishment of the State of Israel; it is also threatening the existence of the Jewish state today.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A historical tour de force that demolishes the myths and taboos that have surrounded Jewish and Israeli history, The Invention of the Jewish People offers a new account of both that demands to be read and reckoned with. Was there really a forced exile in the first century, at the hands of the Romans? Should we regard the Jewish people, throughout two millennia, as both a distinct ethnic group and a putative nation—returned at last to its Biblical homeland? Shlomo Sand argues that most Jews actually descend from converts, whose native lands were scattered far across the Middle East and Eastern Europe. The formation of a Jewish people and then a Jewish nation out of these disparate groups could only take place under the sway of a new historiography, developing in response to the rise of nationalism throughout Europe. Beneath the biblical back fill of the nineteenth-century historians, and the twentieth-century intellectuals who replaced rabbis as the architects of Jewish identity, The Invention of the Jewish People uncovers a new narrative of Israel’s formation, and proposes a bold analysis of nationalism that accounts for the old myths. After a long stay on Israel’s bestseller list, and winning the coveted Aujourd’hui Award in France, The Invention of the Jewish People is finally available in English. The central importance of the conflict in the Middle East ensures that Sand’s arguments will reverberate well beyond the historians and politicians that he takes to task. Without an adequate understanding of Israel’s past, capable of superseding today’s opposing views, diplomatic solutions are likely to remain elusive. In this iconoclastic work of history, Shlomo Sand provides the intellectual foundations for a new vision of Israel’s future.

Book excerpt: In recent years, scholarship on translation has moved well beyond the technicalities of converting one language into another and beyond conventional translation theory. With new technologies blurring distinctions between "the original" and its reproductions, and with globalization redefining national and cultural boundaries, "translation" is now emerging as a reformulated subject of lively, interdisciplinary debate. Nation, Language, and the Ethics of Translation enters the heart of this debate. It covers an exceptional range of topics, from simultaneous translation to legal theory, from the language of exile to the language of new nations, from the press to the cinema; and cultures and languages from contemporary Bengal to ancient Japan, from translations of Homer to the work of Don DeLillo. All twenty-two essays, by leading voices including Gayatri Spivak and the late Edward Said, are provocative and persuasive. The book's four sections--"Translation as Medium and across Media," "The Ethics of Translation," "Translation and Difference," and "Beyond the Nation"--together provide a comprehensive view of current thinking on nationality and translation, one that will be widely consulted for years to come. The contributors are Jonathan E. Abel, Emily Apter, Sandra Bermann, Vilashini Cooppan, Stanley Corngold, David Damrosch, Robert Eaglestone, Stathis Gourgouris, Pierre Legrand, Jacques Lezra, Françoise Lionnet, Sylvia Molloy, Yopie Prins, Edward Said, Azade Seyhan, Gayatri Chakravorty Spivak, Henry Staten, Lawrence Venuti, Lynn Visson, Gauri Viswanathan, Samuel Weber, and Michael Wood.
