Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The following story is a work of fiction inspired by The Book of Revelation. The story itself is not biblically accurate, but it is intended so that you may read the scripture for yourself, so that you may receive your own understanding and walk a little closer with God. I suggest that when you read this manuscript; you have a Bible handy. This is not a novel written for Christians or for anyone that takes their walk with God seriously. The novel is written for the world. It is written in plain and stark language. It will discuss and touch upon subject matter that most will find to be offensive and politically incorrect. The world is a harsh place now. It is NOT going to get better when the 144,000 are taken up and we're left to our own devices. It is this vision of the world that I wished to portray here without any sugar coating. Don't be fooled, it is a vision of the future that is very possible given today's circumstances. It can happen, whether you like it or not! This novel begins with 'The Prophecies of Avrahim' and finishes with 'Three Tales of Tribulation' and 'The Last – Held 4 Ransom'. I wrote 'Three Tales of Tribulation' and 'The Last – Held 4 Ransom' to be concurrent stories so I have separated the overlapping chapters with the title in the heading to avoid confusion and help you follow the storyline better.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Book 4 in the Rapture Chronicles Series Judgment Day Book 4 begins with Tom, Maria and Joe being escorted out of the King's Marriage Feast Hall into the time known as the 1000-year Kingdom..."Peace for some, no peace for most!" The Redeemed, now in their Heavenly bodies dwell within the New Jerusalem, having at its center God's Holy mountain many hundreds of miles high. The New Jerusalem is about 1400 miles square and has four mighty walls with a total of twelve gates of pearl, four on each of its sides, and is tethered to Heaven above it. Israelites who have been called back to life by God, except those who participated in the "Cull of the Damned during Armageddon" live outside, encompassing the New Jerusalem, in twelve tribes. They are given the opportunity to live a God-fearing life for 1000-years. In doing so their names are erased from the Judgment Day Books and entered into the Book of Life. They are still in their mortal bodies and no one will die from natural causes during these days. They are taught by God's Royal Kings, Royal Priests and Priests of various distinctions. The bad and the good from the King's Marriage Feast Hall, surround the 12 tribes of Israel, who themselves encompass the New Jerusalem, in concentric circles. The bad, soon begin migrating to the outer regions of the now-rejoined land masses and Satan's evil-seeds now germinate into the anti-God. Evil is alive and well, and soon Gog is seen in the northern half and his Magog commanders and nations in the southern half. In time, these anti-God numbers multiply into the Biblical "Sand of the Sea." Evil is kept from hurting all who live in peace outside the walls of the New Jerusalem in the 12 Tribes, and also those who live in peace, surrounding them, by God's Royal Kings and Royal Priests. They have been given immensely powerful energy weapons, biblically described as 'rods of iron'. The full scope of these energy-weapons will amaze and comfort the 'good' and 'panic' the bad to flee from their presence. Toward the end of the 1000-years Satan is set loose from his confinement pit for 15 months. Also released at this time are his 3-demons, as described in the book of Daniel 7:11-12 "I watched then because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I watched till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a SEASON AND A TIME." (15 months) Satan, and his remaining demons are released for 15 months and are masquerading as humans. The leader of these billions of anti-God is a demonically possessed human being named Gog; along with him are his Magog commanders. Even though these demons are supernatural, and their abilities have been taken away, they are effective at riling up the anti-God for (unbeknownst to them) their last battle. Evil advances towards God's New Jerusalem including the Israelites and those deemed worthy and good by God. Evil prepares for war and amasses billions of Satan's evil seeds whose numbers by now are recorded as 'the sand of the sea, ' the anti-God races. Evil commences its final attack... Judgment Day The Judgment Days Books are now open... if your name is still recorded in them, the second death then applies, and your body-soul-spirit goes into oblivion. Book of Life Those who during the 1000-years, who have proven themselves worthy to God, have by now had their names erased from the Judgment Day Books and entered into the Book of Life. They form the eternal citizens of the...New Heaven and New Earth. Lamb's Book of Life This is a most glorious book...those in this book are absolutely divine!

When will the Tribulation occur, and who will face it? There is a lot of discussion among Christians about the rapture and the last days. Why all the different views? And how do those perspectives line up with Scripture? Tim LaHaye and Thomas Ice have assembled a team of longtime Bible prophecy experts who look carefully to God's Word for the answers. In this book, readers will discover what they can know for certain. And as they consider the things that still remain uncertain, they will gain a renewed trust that God knows what He is doing. His plan is perfect, and it will unfold in His timing. An easy-to-understand resource that provides much-needed clarification about the end times.

The story alternates between events on earth immediately after the Rapture (covering lots of things the authors wished they could have covered in the original volumes) and characters in heaven and how they view the chaotic events on earth.

Book excerpt: Mark Davidson, author of Daniel Revisited, has created a unique interpretation of end-time Bible prophecy using the ancient concentric reading method known as chiastics. Lost centuries ago, it was rediscovered by seminary scholars in the eighteenth century. This reading method reveals the form of the scripture text via the flow of its words, giving us a heightened sensitivity to the words in the text. When combined with the words’ meanings, we receive a greater understanding of prophetic scripture. In Daniel Revisited, Davidson showed us the four signposts—four events prophesied in Daniel 7 and 8 and Revelation 6—to occur in the Middle East prior to the Rapture and Tribulation. Now in Chronicles of the End Times, chiastic reading has been applied to all of Daniel, Revelation, and other books, pulling back the veil further to expand our view from four events to all the main events, from the Middle East to the ends of the earth. A chiastic reading of Daniel, Zechariah 1–6, Matthew 23–25, and Revelation—all shown in ninety illustrations—yields many solid answers to the following questions as well as to many others: — How do Daniel 2 and 7 interact, and why are the kingdoms metals and beasts? — What’s the purpose of Daniel’s Aramaic chapters, and how do they affect the end times? — Which parts of Daniel 11 are to be fulfilled in ancient times versus end times? — What is the real identity of Mystery Babylon, and how does this help us in the end times? — How do the two scrolls of Revelation give greater understanding of the trumpets and bowls? — What are the Seven Events of the end times, and which one is next? This all may seem incredible for one book, but is nevertheless true. The chiastic reading of Bible prophecy revolutionizes our view of the end times and how we read Bible end-time prophecy.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This powerful and timely book, written by a former Fundamentalist, is a thorough critique of the popular Fundamentalist notion of the "Rapture", the belief that Christians will be removed from earth prior to a time of Tribulation and the Second Coming. It examines the theological, historical, and Biblical basis for "premillennial dispensationalism", the belief system based around the Rapture, and popularized in the best-selling Left Behind books and taught by "Bible prophecy" writers Tim LaHaye, Hal Lindsey, Jack Van Impe, and many others. Written for both the lay person and the serious student, this book combines an engaging, popular approach with detailed footnotes and exhaustive research. Beginning with the big picture, it focuses first on key concepts such as eschatology, the Parousia, and the relationship between the Kingdom and the Church. It then examines the Book of Revelation, providing insights into the nature and purpose of that difficult, final book of the Bible. Another chapter looks at the concept of the "millennium" and how it has been understood by various Christians over the centuries. Olson then shows how Left Behind creator LaHayeಙs many works on "Bible prophecy" are filled with attacks on Catholicism, and often rely on sensationalism, shaky scholarship, and subjective interpretations of Scripture Olson, a former dispensationalist who now edits Envoy magazine, also presents a history of apocalyptic belief and theology, beginning with the Early Church Fathers and including the Montanists, St. Augustine, Joachim of Fiore, the Protestant Reformers, and the American Puritans. He shows how John Nelson Darby, an ex-Anglican priest, developed the premillennial dispensationalist system, which hinges on the Rapture, in the 1830s and how Darby relied upon faulty assumptions about Jesus Christ, the Church, and the Bible. The second part of the book, "A Catholic Critique of Dispensationalism", focuses on three important topics: the relationship between Israel, the Church, and the Kingdom; the interpretation of Scripture; and the nature of the Rapture event. Filled with a wealth of information drawn from both Protestant and Catholic sources, this section provides a complete rebuttal to the premillennial dispensationalist system and the "left behind" theology. The book concludes with a reflection on the Catholic understanding of the end times, salvation history, and the final judgement. Glossaries of key persons and terms are also included. A strong, but fair, critique of a dangerous and popular belief, Will Catholics Be "Left Behind"? provides Catholics and Protestants, lay people and clergy, and students and scholars with important answers and information about the roots and meaning of the "Rapture". "Millions of Americans believe the Lord will snatch them up any day now, leaving the rest of us to the horrors of a seven-year tribulation. The hitch is that the 'Rapture' has no pedigree. As Carl Olson shows, no Catholic or Protestant believed in it prior to the nineteenth century. It is an authentic Fundamentalist 'invention'." Karl Keating, Author, Catholicism and Fundamentalism "In this extraordinary book, Carl Olson uses a surgeonಙs scalpel to cut through the mass of confusion that dominates contemporary reflection on the Last Things. Achieving far more than a refutation of millennialist errors and other disordered apocalyptic theories, he illumines the Church's majestic vision of time and eternity and demonstrates that Jesus Christ is the Lord of History and its end." Michael O'Brien, Author, Father Elijah

Book excerpt: The idea of "The Rapture" -- the return of Christ to rescue and deliver Christians off the earth -- is an extremely popular interpretation of the Bible's Book of Revelation and a jumping-off point for the best-selling "Left Behind" series of books. This interpretation, based on a psychology of fear and destruction, guides the daily acts of thousands if not millions of people worldwide. In The Rapture Exposed, Barbara Rossing argues that this script for the world's future is nothing more than a disingenuous distortion of the Bible. The truth, Rossing argues, is that Revelation offers a vision of God's healing love for the world. The Rapture Exposed reclaims Christianity from fundamentalists' destructive reading of the biblical story and back into God's beloved community.

In this well-reasoned and thorough defense, prophecy authors Mark Hitchcock and Ed Hindson examine the concept, context, and consequences of the important and long-expected event known as the rapture. Discover the answers to such questions as... What is the rapture—and is there any historical precedent for it? Why do some believers object to the idea of a rapture? Does the timing of the rapture really make a difference?
