She was always a quiet, deep thinker and got lost in her own imaginations which would take her out of the present world and into one of her own. Being a relatively shy girl, she strangely is also quite adventurous delighting in walking through forests, discovering the depth and secrecy that lies within the ancient trees. This novel had started when she was five years old, from a reoccurring lucid dream she had, which then evolved into the story you are reading today. With the thoughts of her mind always in question, the original will remain a secret forever. Muaheeheehee. Each thought and observation processed like an animal stocking its prey, careful and precise, limbs moving slowly, cautious not to disturb its surroundings. Something was going to happen. Strange feelings did not come without reason. And nothing, ever, was a coincidence...

After a period of time she began starring in local Opera performances at an early age..After High School she received scholarships to attend the most sought after schools for the arts. She became famous and starred in many of-broadway-shows such as Aida and many others. She met the man of her dreams but did not allow him to destroy her career. He pursued her passagerly but she kept a strong hold on what she felt was best for her. He became very angry with her because she failed to succumb to his desires and needs but she still held onto what she felt and expected was the right thing in a relationship, even if it meant losing him. She knew that what she expected in a relationship was just as important as what he did and he should have understood her wishes as well. She also knew how her father would come by , supposedly to see her but try to pursue her mother, after he walked out on her, but always reminded him that he had another wife. Her mother loved her father. She told her one day that she walked in on him with another woman, it was like lightning had struck her, but she remained calm because it was his choice. She felt the same way when the man she loved walked out on her.

Book excerpt: A Daughter's Heart is a tale of love and evolution in a father-daughter relationship. It is a daughter's story of courage and endurance after being torn apart by a very painful and untimely death of her father. The book brings to life the spirit of resilience that holds human beings together and gradually transforms grief into hope for the future. It is a promising account of a brave young woman's journey, coming from a country widely misunderstood in the contemporary world. This book dispels some of the smoky myths that have come to surround the international conceptions about Pakistan, an immensely rich country. Moving and beautiful, the power of a daughter comes across as a real force throughout the narrative.

The town of Ringgold, Georgia, has a population of 1,923, one traffic light, one Dairy Queen, and one Catherine Grace Cline. The daughter of Ringgold’s third-generation Baptist preacher, Catherine Grace is quick-witted, more than a little stubborn, and dying to escape her small-town life. Every Saturday afternoon, she sits at the Dairy Queen, eating Dilly Bars and plotting her getaway to Atlanta. And when, with the help of a family friend, the dream becomes a reality, she immediately packs her bags, leaving her family and the boy she loves to claim the life she’s always imagined. But before things have even begun to get off the ground in Atlanta, tragedy brings Catherine Grace back home. As a series of extraordinary events alter her perspective--and sweeping changes come to Ringgold itself--Catherine Grace begins to wonder if her place in the world may actually be, against all odds, right where she began. Intelligent, charming, and utterly readable, Looking for Salvation at the Dairy Queen marks the debut of a talented new literary voice.

Book excerpt: "Jimmy’s Boy - Devils, Angels and Miracles " is a first-hand account, a true story describing the amazing, often terrifying, early life experiences of a child blessed by God from birth with the extraordinary spiritual gifts of healing, visions, and the ability to recognize the presence and work of demons. Unfortunately for this child, Satan was also aware of how God had blessed this child. And so, a fierce demonic creature was dispatched from hell to pursue and torment this child in order to impede God's plan... and to consume the child's soul in the process. His remarkable journey began in infancy and continues to this day. Throughout his childhood, he displayed an extraordinary understanding of spiritual things, and spoke of "bright lights," and... "evil things." This book chronicles the true story of the demonic torments and the miraculous events experienced by this child exactly as they happened. I know... because I am that blessed child, the author of “Jimmy’s Boy.”

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Ever since she was a small child, Helma Swan, the daughter of a Northwest Coast chief, loved and learned the music of her people. As an adult she began to sing, even though traditionally Makah singers had been men. How did such a situation develop? In her own words, Helma Swan tells the unusual story of her life, her music, and how she became a singer. An excellent storyteller, she speaks of both musical and non-musical activities and events. In addition to discussing song ownership and other Makah musical concepts, she describes songs, dances, and potlatch ceremonies; proper care of masks and costumes; and changing views of Native music education. More generally, she speaks of cultural changes that have had profound effects on contemporary Makah life. Drawing on more than twenty years of research and oral history interviews, Linda J. Goodman in Singing the Songs of My Ancestors presents a somewhat different point of view-that of the anthropologist/ethnomusicologist interested in Makah culture and history as well as the changing musical and ceremonial roles of Makah men and women. Her information provides a context for Helma Swan’s stories and songs. Taken together, the two perspectives allow the reader to embark on a vivid and absorbing journey through Makah life, music, and ceremony spanning most of the twentieth century. Studies of American Indian women musicians are rare; this is the first to focus on a Northwest Coast woman who is an outstanding singer and storyteller as well as a conservator of her tribe’s cultural traditions.
