Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Oneness Circle Handbook offers a life-transforming journey filled with heart-felt connections. The Oneness Circle is a structured meeting of people who believe that all are part of the same energy called Oneness. Wanting to accept the highest and best in themselves and each other, members meet to share miracles, prompts and affirmations. The detailed structure within The Oneness Circle Handbook provides the agenda, the timeline of sharing, and the ten steps of expressing affirmations. These steps honor and celebrate the great wisdom within each person as members affirm their trust, connection and co-creation with Oneness energy. Sharing in the Oneness Circle with spiritual partners brings strength and confidence in the ability to hear the wisdom within and to follow its direction. Through the practice of listening to the inner voice and allowing it to blossom into expression, inner guidance flows creatively, lovingly, and powerfully. As members listen with open hearts to affirmations and then take turns echoing back the essence of each one, it is a moving experience for both the giver, the receiver, and all who are present. Empowering! Oneness Circle is an amazing practice for encouraging us to tune in and honor our intuitionto acknowledge and appreciate miracles and manifestations that occurall the while awakening to who we really are. Book excerpt: Is the whole future known to those in spirit, or is the whole future presently unknown and depends on how everybody acts? Is it true to say that on earth there is such a thing as a pure accident? Do all dreams contain a message? Are there many unseen spirits on earth? These are just some of the questions we asked Chi, a spirit guide from the higher realms, and which are answered in The Circle Book 3 through the mediumship of Paul Hutton. Here are examples of the wisdom of Chi contained within the many readings given in the book: "To tread lightly in your thoughts, to be unharsh in your judgments, to give the gentle love to others and yourself will give great strength and move forward your pathways into the beauty and the gentle loving light that is there for you all."" "You are everything you become and you become everything you are." Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book offers a new and simplified approach to explore the mind with the imagination. The book is Volume 1 of a planned series with the title ‘Multi Genius Technology for Consciousness’. The main thesis is that by use of the imagination any and all limiting mental conditions can be resolved and consciousness itself can be infinitely expanded. The book opens with a sketch of the underlying philosophical principles, defines a multiple viewpoint system and concepts such as absolute consciousness, truth, the true self, causation and reality. The general science and theory is given in the second part of this book answering questions and covering subjects like the following: - Is there a science of consciousness or mind? - What is known about the subject? - What can we be sure of? - What is the structure of consciousness and minds? - What do we know about thought, the self, the unconscious? A view is presented of an ideal state of man as well as a theory of personal harmony and the cause of distress. Different methods are described in detail, but it is also made clear that some training will be needed for most to practice the type of self-exploration advised in the book. Meditation is stripped to the bare bone essentials of pure perception, which the author calls Basic Meditation. Stressed is the importance and quality of communication in processing. The main technique is called Universal Imagination Processing and uses principles going back to Freud and Jung’s active imagination. The term ‘Quantitative Easing’, known otherwise from central bank monetary policy, is given an entirely new meaning in the context of reprocessing unfortunate past experiences. Self-exploration is given a programmed sequence of steps and techniques which are called Consciousness Exploration Routes which culminate in an approach to unity consciousness. The final part of the book shows how a heightened consciousness would translate over into life and introduces concepts of integral beingness and integral thinking.

The practice draws on the ancient Native American tradition of a talking piece. Peacemaking Circles are used in neighborhoods to provide support for those harmed by crime and to decide sentences for those who commit crime, in schools to create positive classroom climates and resolve behavior problems, in the workplace to deal with conflict, and in social services to develop more organic support systems for people struggling to get their lives together. A title in The Little Books of Justice and Peacebuilding Series.

Still others that the gateway to that greater reality was and is only the stuff of dreams. They are wrong. In the small town of Eden, Utah, a blind girl named Rachelle Matthews is about to find out just how wrong. When a procedure meant to restore Rachelle's sight goes awry, she begins to dream of another world so real that she wonders if Earth might only be a dream experienced when she falls asleep in that reality. Who is a simple blind girl to have such strange and fantastic dreams? She's the prophesied one who must find and recover five ancient seals--in both worlds--before powerful enemies destroy her. If Rachelle succeeds in her quest, peace will reign. If she fails, both worlds will forever be locked in darkness. So begins a two-volume saga of high stakes and a mind-bending quest to find an ancient path that will save humanity. The clock is ticking; the end rushes forward. Ready? Set? Dream.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Within the field of Islamic Studies, scientific research of Muslim theology is a comparatively young discipline. Much progress has been achieved over the past decades with respect both to discoveries of new materials and to scholarly approaches to the field. The Oxford Handbook of IslamicTheology provides a comprehensive and authoritative survey of the current state of the field. It provides a variegated picture of the state of the art and at the same time suggests new directions for future research.Part One covers the various strands of Islamic theology during the formative and early middle periods, rational as well as scripturalist. To demonstrate the continuous interaction among the various theological strands and its repercussions (during the formative and early middle period and beyond),Part Two offers a number of case studies. These focus on specific theological issues that have developed through the dilemmatic and often polemical interactions between the different theological schools and thinkers. Part Three covers Islamic theology during the later middle and early modernperiods. One of the characteristics of this period is the growing amalgamation of theology with philosophy (Peripatetic and Illuminationist) and mysticism. Part Four addresses the impact of political and social developments on theology through a number of case studies: the famous mihna instituted byal-Ma'mun (r. 189/813-218/833) as well as the mihna to which Ibn 'Aqil (d. 769/1367) was subjected; the religious policy of the Almohads; as well as the shifting interpretations throughout history (particularly during Mamluk and Ottoman times) of the relation between Ash'arism and Maturidism thatwere often motivated by political motives. Part Five considers Islamic theological thought from the end of the early modern and during the modern period.

Book excerpt: The Oxford Handbook of Ecclesiology is a unique scholarly resource for the study of the Christian Church as we find it in the Bible, in history and today. As the scholarly study of how we understand the Christian Church's identity and mission, ecclesiology is at the centre of today's theological research, reflection, and debate. Ecclesiology is the theological driver of the ecumenical movement. The main focus of the intense ecumenical engagement and dialogue of the past half-century has been ecclesiological and this is the area where the most intractable differences remain to be tackled Ecclesiology investigates the Church's manifold self-understanding in relation to a number of areas: the origins, structures, authority, doctrine, ministry, sacraments, unity, diversity, and mission of the Church, including its relation to the state and to society and culture. The sources of ecclesiological reflection are the Bible (interpreted in the light of scholarly research), Church history and the wealth of the Christian theological tradition, together with the information and insights that emerge from other relevant academic disciplines. This Handbook considers the biblical resources, historical development, and contemporary initiatives in ecclesiology. It offers invaluable and comprehensive guide to understanding the Church.
