Some two thousand years later, people are still confused about the term "born again," though more people than ever claim to have had the experience. In this booklet, Dr. R.C. Sproul cuts through the confusion and carefully explains what it means to be born again. Dr. Sproul affirms that the new birth is essential for salvation and goes on to show that this regeneration is a sovereign work of God in our hearts. The Crucial Questions booklet series by Dr. R.C. Sproul offers succinct answers to important questions often asked by Christians and thoughtful inquirers.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are born into this world as a triune being with a body, soul, and spirit. Our physical body allows us to live within the physical realm, and our soul is the director of all our mental and physical labor. It is our spirit that gives life or allows us to be alive, which, in turn, allows our conscious soul and physical body to live, breathe, and move. Upon death, our physical body remains in this physical realm; however, our soul and spirit will continue on for all eternity within the spiritual realm. Our spirit and soul are two separate immaterial entities and need to be separated for the purpose of the human spirit to become the gateway for the entrance of God's Holy Spirit into the human spirit. This is the born-again experience that leads a person to become a "new creation of God." The spiritual rebirth of the human spirit is the only way one can enter God's heavenly kingdom, and the only way the human spirit can go through the spiritual rebirth is by allowing God's Holy Spirit entrance into their spirit. The only way that God's Holy Spirit will enter a person's spirit is by that person believing that Jesus Christ, God incarnate, died for their sins and the sins of the world, thus removing the penalty of judgment of God's wrath upon those who chose to believe and accept Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. This book gives biblical support for the reality of the triune composition of humanity and the function and destiny of each.

True Identity is perfect for parents and youth workers to give to the teenagers (14-16) in their lives to help them in their journey. Drawing on experiences and wisdom from a wide array of experts, the book provides compassionate answers to help teens discover who they really are, emphasizing their identity in Christ above all other ways our culture defines them. Book excerpt: The New Creation is a resuscitation of the basic truth of Christ in our generation, as God never fails to inspire great work in every age to heal his people. It is a transformation from darkness to his marvelous light--into the higher glory of the mystery of God whose will is to give us his kingdom. The mysteries contained therein is part of the greatest truth revealed by the eternal wisdom of God in our own time, for our completeness and a glorious covenant of life against the false teachings that has done so much harm to the mystical body of Christ. I am quite certain that heresy, indifference, schism, evil doctrines, and powers of this age cannot stop the spirituality and message of this wonderful book--for the angels of constellations are at work.

This book was released on 2018-07-20 with total page 196 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We are born into this world a triune being with a body, soul and spirit. Our physical body allows us to live within the physical realm and, within our soul is the director of all our mental and physical labor. Our spirit is that which causes us to be alive and together with the soul, the physical body is able to breath and move in this physical world. Upon death, our physical body remains in this physical realm, whether in ashes or decaying underground. Our spirit and soul, however, which is composed of two distinct separate immaterial entities can be separated from each other, but will always remain co-joined. The spirit and the soul must be divided for the purpose of the 'dead to God' human spirit to become the vessel to receive God's Holy Spirit. This is the 'born-again' experience that causes a person to become a 'new creation' of God, a human being with God's Spirit living within his/her spirit.' The spiritual rebirth of the human spirit is the only way one can enter God's heavenly kingdom. The only way the human spirit can receive God's Holy Spirit (the spiritual rebirth), is by allowing God's Holy Spirit entrance into their spirit. The only way, however, that God's Holy Spirit will enter a person's spirit is by that person believing that Jesus Christ is God incarnate who died for their sins (the sin's of the world), and then receive Him as their personal Lord and Savior. This is the 'born-again' experience Jesus revealed to Nicodemus in John 3:3, "Unless one is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of God." After 30 years of personal study of the New Testament and bringing many people to Christ, I have undertaken the task of writing this book in response to what many young Born-Again Christians, long time Christians as well as unbelievers have stated to me after presenting the gospel message; "No one has ever explained it this way," or "I've never heard the gospel explained like this." I believe that understanding the triune nature of humanity and the function and purpose of each entity; body, soul and spirit, the scriptures will come alive with greater meaning and understanding of how we as Christians can be both; in the 'process of being' sanctified and yet at the same time 'be perfect', while being free from the condemnation and wrath of God, even when we fail and sin. The scriptures are very clear about the body, soul and spirit. The flesh is useless and profits nothing. The soul will always be in 'the process' of being sanctified, or trying not to sin in word, thought or deed (the soul will never reach perfection in this world), and the spirit is deemed 'PERFECT' upon receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior or 'Born Again.' Once a person's spirit is deemed 'perfect' by God, His Holy Spirit fills and seals his/her spirit, thus becoming a NEW CREATION; God living within the human spirit. The reality of the triune composition of humanity and the function and destiny of each part is clearly presented in scripture. Once we understand our true nature as presented to us in the Bible, the gospel of Christ will be easy to grasp in all its entirety and the true meaning of "There is therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, "Romans 8:1, will truly become a reality in the hearts and minds of those who love Him.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this work Ambrose covers the doctrine of regeneration in three tiers. First he covers the doctrinal aspects of the words of Christ in John 3:3, “Except a Man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God.” He explains here the order the Holy Spirit sets down in the necessity, generality, manner and issue of the new birth. In the second part, he further explains the doctrine in relationship to how the new birth changes a Christian towards their duty under the Law in mimicking the character of God as a new creation in Christ. In the third part, he demonstrates the practice and behavior of a man in the new birth outlining the soul’s preparation, God’s part and man’s part in the new birth, God’s work on the soul, closing with Christ, and growing in Christ. This is an important treatise on a foundational topic because Ambrose demonstrates how being or becoming religious is not the same as being regenerate. This is not a scan or facsimile, has been updated in modern English for easy reading and has an active table of contents for electronic versions.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Christianity has revealed the secret that psychologists have long sought--the "inward soul," the re-created spirit, the focus of God's great redemptive work on earth. The four Gospels give us a wonderful picture of the lonely man of Galilee, the humble Messiah who ends His earthly walk on Calvary. But Paul's Epistles give us the risen triumphant One, the conqueror of death, sin, and Satan. He provides the revelation of what happened on the cross and in the tomb, and how that affects who and what we are in Christ today. Legendary Bible teacher E. W. Kenyon delves deeply into Paul's teaching to give us a living picture of the entire substitutionary work of Christ, which made possible the new creation, a new race of men and women who can stand in God's presence without a sense of guilt, condemnation, or inferiority.

In Reading the Bible Supernaturally, best-selling author John Piper teaches us how to read the Bible in light of its divine author. In doing so, he highlights the Bible's unique ability to reveal God to humanity in a way that informs our minds, transforms our hearts, and ignites our love. With insights into the biblical text drawn from decades of experience studying, preaching, and teaching Scripture, Piper helps us experience the transformative power of God's Word—a power that extends beyond the mere words on the page. Ultimately, Piper shows us that in the seemingly ordinary act of reading the Bible, something supernatural happens: we encounter the living God.

Book excerpt: A reissue of McCabe's study of the sacraments and what it means to live in the Church and the Church's world, The New Creation explores how human beings can reach real unity with one another and the world around them through the Spirit of Christ. The New Creation engages with themes like the Word of God, the Son of God, the meaning of community and communion and the sacraments as mysteries of human unity; the place of physical healing in the redeemed world and the Old-Testament and pagan religious foundations upon which modern Christianity is built. There is a humane simplicity in McCabe's insights into all of these subjects, similar to that found in the Gospels, which provides the reader with clarity on inherently complex theological issues. 'Christ is present to us in so far as we are present to each other' as McCabe tells us and this book plainly and vividly encourages us to find the company of both.

If you have trouble receiving from God, this is a must-read!

Book excerpt: Do you feel aimless on your earthly walk? Do you find yourself wondering where to turn for answers? We live in a day and time where many on this earth have lost purpose and direction; there are numerous unanswered questions about this life, and all are seeking wisdom and counsel to find that purpose and direction. For us as Christians, God has given us answers for this life, as well as in the time to come, and they are found in His Holy Word—the Bible. Not only has God given us His Word, but He has also given His people the Holy Spirit to lead us and guide us in the right direction. We may try to plan our lives, but at the end of the day, only God's purposes will prevail. In Dr. Jonathan Doctor's new book, you will discover the truths and blessings of living the new life in God's prevailing purpose. As new creations in Christ—as new covenant Christians living in the new covenant of grace—we have the advantage of succeeding in the purpose of God on this earth.
