Blavatsky - The authorthe writer, ratherfeels it necessary to apologize for the long delay which has occurred in the appearance of this work. It has been occasioned by ill-health and the magnitude of the undertaking. Even the two volumes now issued do not complete the scheme, nor do these treat exhaustively of the subjects dealt with in them. A large quantity of material has already been prepared, dealing with the history of Occultism as contained in the lives of the great Adepts of the Âryan Race, and showing the bearing of Occult Philosophy upon the conduct of life, as it is and as it ought to be. Should the present volumes meet with a favourable reception, no effort will be spared to carry out the scheme of the work in its entirety. This scheme, it must be added, was not in contemplation when the preparation of the work was first announced. As originally announced, it was intended that The Secret Doctrine should be an amended and enlarged version of Isis Unveiled. It was, however, soon found that the explanations which could be added to those already put before the world, in the last-named and other works dealing with Esoteric Science, were such as to require a different method of treatment; and consequently the present volumes do not contain, in all, twenty pages extracted from Isis Unveiled.

Blavatsky - The Secret Doctrine is the seminal work of the Theosophical Movement and established Blavatsky as one of the most vocal and outspoken advocate of the Wisdom Teachings of the East. Almost every contemporary spiritual movement can trace its lineage back to the impulses expressed most consumately in this, Blavatsky's Magnum Opus. Based upon a disclosure and exposition of the hitherto unknown - and academically, quite controversial - "Stanzas of Dzyan," The Secret Doctrine elaborates on the teachings first brought to the world through the "Masters" Koot Humi and Morya and introduced in A. P. Sinnett's "Esoteric Buddhism," to which Blavatsky continuously refers and clarifies. In the two volumes (the first being Cosmogenesis) she portrays a sweeping vision of the evolution of humanity and the cosmos out of the spirit, unfolding in "rounds" and cycles of descent and reascent from and to the spirit, through cycles of reincarnation. This ebook edition has been meticulously prepared, with over 1000 footnotes linked from within the text. This complex and challenging work is presented in a highly readable format that invites a fresh approach to the text. Volume I, Cosmogenesis

Book excerpt: MYSTICISM IN NEWBURYPORT is a seven-book series revealing ancient secrets from masters of all cultures along with modern-day breakthroughs by scientists and quantum physicists of our times. These tales began flowing after Peter’s powerful spiritual awakening in Newburyport, Massachusetts. Newburyport is a quaint little, historic seaport on the coast heading towards New Hampshire. Peter had been sober in the 12-step recovery program for many years and had recovered from his alcoholism. Peter’s love of Nature had brought him to the Newburyport area. This area is rich with Nature’s treasures, Native American Heritage and many tales from the tall cargo ships of olden days. High street was lined with homes of these Sea Captains. Peter’s awakening had given him new eyes and new highly evolved senses. Peter was to have powerful past lives experience with his Mystery Woman guide named Layne. Layne was a mystic that would tell people things about themselves that there was no way she could know. She would look you in the eyes and tell you your deepest secrets. She also knew about the Earth’s electromagnetic grids and helped Peter understand what he was experiencing in Newburyport. Peter’s new heightened senses could feel the electromagnet flow of energy and the convergence right below Market Square in Newburyport. Market Square was one of the crossroads for these powerful electromagnet energies that gives life to our planet. Peter was to share the secrets that were revealed to him in his writings.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The serpent is the most ancient symbol because the reptile preceded the bird, and the bird the mammal. He was honoured by the Gnostic Ophites because he taught primeval men the Mysteries of Cosmos and Man. Serpent and Dragon were some of the names given to the “Wise Ones,” the initiated adepts of olden times. The Nagas of the Hindu and Tibetan adepts were men, not reptiles. Perhaps, when St. Patrick drove the snakes from Ireland, he was the cause of its soil having ever since produced more wit than wisdom. On the lowest plane of materiality, the Serpent was adopted as a type of feminine pubescence, on account of its sloughing and self-renewal. The Serpent and the Tree of Life are indissolubly connected. These sacred symbols have never been so degraded by antiquity as they are now, in this age of the breaking of idols, not for truth’s sake but to glorify gross matter. In the beginning of their joint existence as a glyph of Immortal Being, the Tree and Serpent were divine imagery, truly. In the days of the divine Dynasties on Earth, the now dreaded reptile, emblem of the heaven-born Logos, was regarded as the first beam of light that radiated from the abyss of Divine Mystery. As the Serpent, originally dwelling beyond absolute space and infinite time, fell into the space and finite time, he was made to assume various forms: cosmic and astronomical, theistic and pantheistic, abstract and concrete. There is a universal belief that serpents are wise, cunning, and fascinating. The dragons and serpents of antiquity are seven-headed, one head for each root-race. The Crocodile is the Egyptian Dragon, the pre-planetary form of Saturn, Sevekh’s Word-Logos. He was the dual symbol of Heaven and Earth, of Sun and Moon, made sacred to Osiris and Isis because of its amphibious nature. The Serpent was degraded as the symbol of evil and devil, only during the middle ages, when the Sun, Tree, Serpent, Crocodile, and other ancient symbols were imported wholesale by dogmatic Christianity and passed in full into the Christian Church. The “True and Perfect Serpent,” the Dark Serpent of Absolute Wisdom of the Ophite creed, is the seven-vowelled God, represented by the Swastika — the seven-fold androgyne Logos unfolding out of its own essence the faculties and powers latent in Saptaparna, the seven-leaved Man-plant.
