Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This beautiful book is filled with journal entries from over 12,000 people who walked the Miracle Path in Lake Geneva, WI and left their words and little bit of their hearts in the notebook of hope. As a struggling waitress and single mom, Carolyn worked tirelessly so she and her children can enjoy a few days in Lake Geneva, WI each summer. During these visits she would often walk around the lake gazing at the incredible mansion during the shoreline. Year after year she would say a silent prayer that she wanted to own a house on the lake someday and if that day ever arrived she would make the house welcoming to all. Twenty years later the prayer has been answered, she purchased the house located at 700 South Lakeshore Dr. now had to uphold her end of the promise... Immediately after purchasing the home she had "Expect Miracle" incorporated across the front gate. After receiving extremely positive feedback from complete strangers and how those simple words gave them the strength to persevere she set her focus on the walking path by the lake. In 2008 Carolyn hired a muralist paint famous quotations on the planks of the fence, the response from visitors to the path was extraordinary! A year later she added a notebook inviting visitors to write whatever their heart desired. She also had a brass bell with the only instruction to ring it and make miracles happen. This book is a collection of some of the fence quotations and journal entries from the 12,000 people who have left their words and a little bit of their hearts in the notebook of hope. Expect A Miracle!

Book excerpt: Tessa Hughes’s morning devotional with God, written during the first year of the pandemic, provides an uplifting and encouraging daily reminder for those who face challenges in their faith and day-to-day lives. Because it was written daily from the time the pandemic began, it begins on April 1 and takes the reader through March of the following year to span one Easter season to another. The author provides selected excerpts from the Daily Lectionary’s readings for each day to accompany the devotionals. The Miracle Path not only compiles the daily devotionals but also encompasses some of the heart-stopping events that happened during the first year of the pandemic, including the riots surrounding George Floyd’s untimely death, the church burning in Mississippi, the explosion in Beirut, and many other tragedies and surprises the year held. The daily devotional also provides a grounding experience for Christians to continue seeking God each day and trusting him to meet them where they are. He doesn’t expect us to be on our best behavior in order to be in relationship with him.

Book excerpt: Heartwarming and Heart-Opening Stories Gathered from Decades of Medical Practice Bernie Siegel first wrote about miracles when he was a practicing surgeon and founded Exceptional Cancer Patients, a groundbreaking synthesis of group, individual, dream, and art therapy that provided patients with a “carefrontation.” Compiled during his more than thirty years of practice, speaking, and teaching, the stories in these pages are riveting, warm, and belief expanding. Their subjects include a girl whose baby brother helped her overcome anorexia, a woman whose cancer helped her heal by teaching her to stand up for herself, and a family that was saved from a burning house by bats. Without diminishing the reality of pain and hardship, the stories show real people turning crisis into blessing by responding to adversity in ways that empower and heal. They demonstrate what we are capable of and show us that we can achieve miracles as we confront life’s difficulties.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are many who believe Moses parted the Red Sea and Jesus came back from the dead. Others are certain that exorcisms occur, ghosts haunt attics, and the blessed can cure the terminally ill. Though miracles are immensely improbable, people have embraced them for millennia, seeing in them proof of a supernatural world that resists scientific explanation. Helping us to think more critically about our belief in the improbable, The Miracle Myth casts a skeptical eye on attempts to justify belief in the supernatural, laying bare the fallacies that such attempts commit. Through arguments and accessible analysis, Larry Shapiro sharpens our critical faculties so we become less susceptible to tales of myths and miracles and learn how, ultimately, to evaluate claims regarding vastly improbable events on our own. Shapiro acknowledges that belief in miracles could be harmless, but cautions against allowing such beliefs to guide how we live our lives. His investigation reminds us of the importance of evidence and rational thinking as we explore the unknown.

Book excerpt: A guide to creating miracles in your own life through the power of thought • 2019 Coalition of Visionary Resources Gold Award • Offers a concise, clear formula of focused exercises and concrete tools to lay out a specific path to manifest your deepest desires • Presents the first serious reconsideration of New Thought philosophy since the death of William James in 1910 • Draws on the work of New Thought pioneers such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Napoleon Hill, Neville Goddard, William James, Andrew Jackson Davis, Wallace D. Wattles, and many others Following in the footsteps of a little-known group of esoteric seekers from the late-nineteenth century who called themselves “the Miracle Club,” Mitch Horowitz shows that the spiritual “wish fulfillment” practices known as the Law of Attraction, Positive Thinking, “the Secret,” and the Science of Getting Rich actually work. Weaving these ideas together into a concise, clear formula, with real-life examples of success, he reveals how your thoughts can impact reality and make things happen. In this “manual for miracles,” Horowitz explains how we each possess a creative agency to determine and reshape our lives. He shows how thinking in a directed, highly focused, and emotively charged manner expands our capacity to perceive and transform events and allows us to surpass ordinary boundaries of time and physical space. Building on Neville Goddard’s view that the human imagination is God the Creator and Ralph Waldo Emerson’s techniques for attaining personal power, he explores the highest uses of mind-power metaphysics and explains what works and what doesn’t, illuminating why and how events bend to our thoughts. He encourages readers to experiment and find themselves “at the helm of infinite possibilities.” Laying out a specific path to manifest your deepest desires, from wealth and love to happiness and security, Horowitz provides focused exercises and concrete tools for change and looks at ways to get more out of prayer, affirmation, and visualization. He also provides the first serious reconsideration of New Thought philosophy since the death of William James in 1910. He includes crucial insights and effective methods from the movement’s leaders such as Ralph Waldo Emerson, Napoleon Hill, Neville Goddard, William James, Andrew Jackson Davis, Wallace D. Wattles, and many others. Defining a miracle as “circumstances or events that surpass all conventional or natural expectation,” the author invites you to join him in pursuing miracles and achieve power over your own life.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The movie The Passion of The Christ dramatically conveyed the price that Jesus paid on the cross to redeem the sins of the world. John Webb Kline's new book, I Could Use a Miracle Right Now, profoundly brings the message of the cross and what it means to us in the 21st century into perspective in a way that few books can. It is a story about one man's life-long encounter with the Living Christ--a story that one might call, The Passion of the Christian. It is a must-read for any true seeker of truth or follower of Christ. Author John Webb Kline describes his inspiring new book as a Workingman's Theology-a theology that helps us to find God in the midst of our everyday struggles and which helps us to make sense out of the seemingly senseless trials and tribulations we all face. Based on stories from his own, often tumultuous, yet miracle-filled life, Webb brings us to the amazing discovery that, not only is God's intervention for our lives real, but it is also there for each and everyone of us-hidden only by our rational worldviews and unbelief. This is a book about hanging on to faith when it would seem perfectly reasonable not to; a book for the faithless and faithful alike; it is a book for those who are feeling so hurt, so angry, or so left out of God's will that they have nothing left but the desire to curse God and die. In today's world, it very well could be your own handbook for survival. Heart to Hand Ministries director, Woody Wolfe has this to say about I Could Use a Miracle Right Now: "Webb is able to take us on that journey to see the true miracles that are the reality of our everyday lives even when the world had blurred our vision. Webb's uncanny ability to put into words, that which is at the heart of the true Gospel message, has been such a blessing to me. I wish this book would have been around during those first days of my full-time ministry when I was still looking to the world for affirmation. To truly understand that God is already knocked out about us, gives us the freedom to be just who we are and Webb has brought that vision of the uncompromising love of God to these pages." In Becoming a Miracle Worker, author Bonnie Nack clarifies the unique meaning of miracles in A Course in Miracles, explains how they are done and encourages the student to become a Miracle Worker. Nack shows how A Course in Miracles can give anyone an understanding of how to do miracles. She explains the importance of the idea that the miracle worker must take full responsibility for everything that he experiences in his mind, and ask the Holy Spirit to transform into Love, anything negative that appears there. Uplifting and inspirational, Nack shares her wisdom based on the course principles and her own insight gained throughout years of study, practice, and teaching. Praise for Becoming a Miracle Worker Bonnie Nack is a skilled writer, clear and easy to read and she has an in-depth understanding of the teaching of A Course in Miracles. Book excerpt: Web Sites: https://www.quraninenglish.net/ https://presentationofislamandquran.com/ https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLzuPsekljGMNgVGEoSGyNvRbj1-6gH438 The religion of Islam is, as the meaning, “The religion that strengthens people’’ [the set of principles that keep people away from the things like problems, sorrows, wars, weaknesses, spiritual illnesses, unhappiness and similar things and that ensure safety and security]. The religion of Islam taught in the Qur’an in fact distances people and societies from problems, fears, unhappiness, quarrels, wars and similar negative things. All the principles in the Qur’an are for the health, happiness and peaceful living of humanity. The name of the religion that Allah sent with Adam, Noah, …Abraham, …Moses, Jesus and Muhammad is İslam. The only source of the religion of İslam is the Qur’an. Some people and communities known as Muslims on earth adopted the views and understandings of some others as a religion by leaving the original messages of the Qur’an. Hence, intolerable problems among themselves and in their relations with non-Muslims have emerged and still continue to emerge. Islam expounded by the Qur’an is very different from what it appears, particularly what the non-Muslims see on those people who claim to be Muslims. When you read the English interpretation of the Qur’an which is the source the religion of İslam, you will know the Qur’an and the religion of İslam more closely.
