Book excerpt: The Gestation Law is complementary to the Law of Attraction. It states that there is a given incubation or gestation period for each seed. A certain period that a specific seed requires to be formed until it can evolve from the blueprint to a fully realized physical shape. Being prospective entrepreneurs, when the time comes to making the business vision clear, they are ready to go ahead in full swing in abnormal haste. There may be many factors that add to this hurried decision. Money may be a decisive factor. At a workplace that does not longer feel comfortable to be in, it may be a relief from a stressful work environment. Whatever may be the reason, one of the most powerfully motivating desires people face as they struggle through their lives and make strides in building a new business entity to surpass the surrounding competitors. However, with a higher degree of persistence, dedication, and self valuation, it is always critical to balance this driving force. Founding a new company or venture is like a new baby's birth. There is a gestation cycle and a developmental phase, which is extremely crucial. It is not at all comfortable. It cannot be hurried. The essence is to allow space for every activity to take shape and evolve in its natural course. Every bit of the clearly defined and vividly crafted priority is a seed in itself. Each has a period of gestation, a fixed period from the moment one plants it to the point that it has completely evolved into its tangible shape. How long will the gestation period remain like that? The question is not so simple to answer. People have no clue about it. But this is what they do know that it will take a while. Besides, they also know that if they continue to unearth the planted seeds, the entire effort will go in vain. Sometimes, people cause the process to slow down a bit or, worse, stall it entirely when they get nervous about completing the task. It is because anxiety and stress prevent them from reaching their higher-thinking layers of the brain responsible for visualizing and scheduling the tasks lying ahead. As a result, they tend to get trapped in the survival state and have no options but to make choices from a position of scarcity and insecurity, while sending mixed signals to the society as a whole, they are apprehensive about more uncertain things to come. When an individual grows and develops, the progression occurs at its specified time frame. It cannot be rushed to a conclusion when making preparations to break open and blossom when a fermenting seed is in complete darkness.

This book was released on 2020-05-01 with total page 369 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The delivery of high quality and equitable care for both mothers and newborns is complex and requires efforts across many sectors. The United States spends more on childbirth than any other country in the world, yet outcomes are worse than other high-resource countries, and even worse for Black and Native American women. There are a variety of factors that influence childbirth, including social determinants such as income, educational levels, access to care, financing, transportation, structural racism and geographic variability in birth settings. It is important to reevaluate the United States' approach to maternal and newborn care through the lens of these factors across multiple disciplines. Birth Settings in America: Outcomes, Quality, Access, and Choice reviews and evaluates maternal and newborn care in the United States, the epidemiology of social and clinical risks in pregnancy and childbirth, birth settings research, and access to and choice of birth settings.
Book Synopsis Decriminalising Abortion in the UK by : Sheldon, Sally
Download or read book Decriminalising Abortion in the UK written by Sheldon, Sally and published by Policy Press. This book was released on 2020-03-23 with total page 176 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Available Open Access under CC-BY-NC licence. The public and parliamentary debate about UK abortion law reform is often diverted away from key moral and political questions by disputes regarding basic questions of fact. And all too often, claims of scientific ‘fact’ are ideologically driven. But what effect would decriminalisation be likely to have on women’s health? What would be the impact on the incidence of abortions? Would decriminalisation equate to deregulation, sweeping away necessary restrictions on dangerous or malicious conduct? With each chapter written by leading experts in the fields of medicine, law, reproductive health and social science, this book offers a concise and authoritative account of the evidence regarding the likely impact of decriminalisation of abortion in the UK.
Book Synopsis The Ethics of Pregnancy, Abortion and Childbirth by : Helen Watt
Download or read book The Ethics of Pregnancy, Abortion and Childbirth written by Helen Watt and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2016-01-08 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Ethics of Pregnancy, Abortion and Childbirth addresses the unique moral questions raised by pregnancy and its intimate bodily nature. From assisted reproduction to abortion and ‘vital conflict’ resolution to more everyday concerns of the pregnant woman, this book argues for pregnancy as a close human relationship with the woman as guardian or custodian. Four approaches to pregnancy are explored: ‘uni-personal’, ‘neighborly’, ‘maternal’ and ‘spousal’. The author challenges not only the view that there is only one moral subject to consider in pregnancy, but also the idea that the location of the fetus lacks all inherent, unique significance. It is argued that the pregnant woman is not a mere ‘neighbor’ or helpful stranger to the fetus but is rather already in a real familial relationship bringing real familial rights and obligations. If the status of the fetus is conclusive for at least some moral questions raised by pregnancy, so too are facts about its bodily relationship with, and presence in, the woman who supports it. This lucid, accessible and original book explores fundamental ethical issues in a rich and often neglected area of philosophy in ways of interest also to those from other disciplines.

Book Synopsis Working with the Law by : Raymond Holliwell
Download or read book Working with the Law written by Raymond Holliwell and published by DeVorss & Company. This book was released on 1985-01-03 with total page 188 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Science has defined a variety of natural laws that explain the physical world and how it changes. One such law states that for every action there is a reaction, and that for every motion there is corresponding counter-motion. Whether it’s visible to the human eye or not, one thing is certain – movement and change will occur as a result. Having studied these principles, author Raymond Holliwell not only understood the universal physical applications, he also understood the spiritual and mental applications as well. By using this law on a spiritual and mental level, Holliwell found that a specific thought could create a desired reaction in his personal and professional life through continual and dedicated practice. As he came to realize the expanded potential of this powerful law, he eventually recognized the ultimate source of the dramatic results – God.

Frankly, this is one of the most valuable perceptions that you can envision your life through. I’m always telling my friends and clients that, “Life loves you and talks to you and guides you at all times, but you just don’t pay attention.” It was the old adage, ”Live and Learn” that led me to question the experiences in my own life and search for a better understanding of the human condition. The introduction to this text will open an autobiographical window into my own journey providing a glimpse into some of my ”live and learn” moments. The body of this publication is a comprehensive study, over four decades, of the nature of mankind and its reality. Our true mission and purpose for this life experience is to develop a trust and cultivate that trust in knowing who we are and why we are here on this planet.
