She dedicates the book to the late matriarchs of her life, mother Johnnie Lee Howard, Mother in love, Lois Leaphart, grandmother Ma Pat (Elsie Jackson) and sister, Phyllis Ann Johnson as well as her father, the late Bishop John D. Howard, who instilled in her spiritual foundations, values and commitment. They all played a major role in aiding her to become the woman she is today. They are the wind beneath her wings... Synetra retired with 28 years of service in October 2010 from Ga Department of Human Resources. She walks fervently beside her husband, assisting him in all his endeavors. She is a constant source of great strength, love and empowerment to others. Her Godly and positive influence has brought many to Christ. She exemplifies the gift of wisdom and knowledge in both the body of Christ as well as the community. Her complete dedication and unselfish service reflect the blessed hope of Jesus Christ for the church (His bride).
