Using archaeo-astronomy, religious stories, ancient artifacts, and our modern understanding of human evolution, RJ von-Bruening presents a compelling and thought-provoking case to suggest that it is. In 'The Forbidden Knowledge of Enoch', you'll take a unique and fascinating journey into the almost forgotten story that is told through the ancient, unhidden symbols that surround us today. Taught in the mystery schools and religions that still exist, a single, understandable story has been wove together from a great number of ancient mysteries, religious stories, and modern conspiracy theories, It will give you the first true understanding of the depth and scope of the cultural phenomenon of a Satanic New World Order. Book Synopsis God’s Court and Courtiers in the Book of the Watchers by : Philip Francis Esler
Download or read book God’s Court and Courtiers in the Book of the Watchers written by Philip Francis Esler and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2017-11-06 with total page 246 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: First Enoch is an ancient Judean work that inaugurated the genre of apocalypse. Chapters 1-36 tell the story of the descent of angels called "Watchers" from heaven to earth to marry human women before the time of the flood, the chaos that ensued, and God's response. They also relate the journeying of the righteous scribe Enoch through the cosmos, guided by angels. Heaven, including the place and those who dwell there (God, the angels, and Enoch), plays a central role in the narrative. But how should heaven be understood? Existing scholarship, which presupposes "Judaism" as the appropriate framework, views the Enochic heaven as reflecting the temple in Jerusalem, with God's house replicating its architecture and the angels and Enoch functioning like priests. Yet recent research shows the Judeans constituted an ethnic group, and this view encourages a fresh examination of 1 Enoch 1-36. The actual model for heaven proves to be a king in his court surrounded by his courtiers. The major textual features are explicable in this perspective, whereas the temple-and-priests model is unconvincing. The author was a member of a nontemple, scribal group in Judea that possessed distinctive astronomical knowledge, promoted Enoch as its exemplar, and was involved in the wider sociopolitical world of their time.
Book Synopsis The Forbidden Knowledge of the Book of Enoch by : Harold Roth
Download or read book The Forbidden Knowledge of the Book of Enoch written by Harold Roth and published by Red Wheel/Weiser. This book was released on 2024-12-02 with total page 226 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Examines the meaning, context, secrets, and impact in a clear, accessible, secular, and respectful way so that readers can make up their own minds about the mysterious Book of Enoch. Forbidden knowledge is at the core of the Book of Enoch. Its text has captured interest from 300 BCE up to the present day. Ancient people living in the Qumran area of the Land of Israel, to the Near East, to Ethiopia, and to Eastern Europe have all consulted the Book of Enoch for their magical and mystical practices. Sometimes part of religious canon and doctrine, and sometimes outright banned, the Book of Enoch has persisted for well over 2,000 years. Roth interprets the content of the Book of Enoch and addresses how that knowledge has been used in the past and can be useful in the present. The Forbidden Knowledge of the Book of Enoch shows that the Book of Enoch remains as vital, if not more so, today as it has been for centuries. From Renaissance magic (Dr. John Dee) to early Christian apocalyptic texts, all the way down to today's conspiracy theories and modern magical angelology, the Book of Enoch has been influential in many spiritual and religious traditions. What has been missing from the various approaches to the Book of Enoch, more popular today than ever, has been any real attempt to find not only what is at the center of these stories but also their connections to magic. The Forbidden Knowledge of the Book of Enoch finds and elucidates those connections. This new work will be useful to magic workers, mystics, those who work with angels, those interested in Jewish magic and mystical practices, and those who are simply curious to peek at apocalyptic visions.

Book Synopsis Fallen Angels and the Origins of Evil by : Elizabeth Clare Prophet
Download or read book Fallen Angels and the Origins of Evil written by Elizabeth Clare Prophet and published by SCB Distributors. This book was released on 2009-05-15 with total page 275 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Did rebel angels take on human bodies to fulfill their lust for the “daughters of men”? Did these fallen angels teach men to build weapons of war? That is the premise of the Book of Enoch, a text cherished by the Essenes, early Jews, and Christians but later condemned by both rabbis and Church Fathers. Elizabeth Clare Prophet examines the controversy surrounding this book and sheds new light on Enoch’s forbidden mysteries. She demonstrates that Jesus and the apostles studied the Book of Enoch and tells why Church Fathers suppressed its teaching that angels could incarnate in human bodies. Fallen Angels and the Origins of Evil takes you back to the primordial drama of Good and Evil, when the first hint of corruption entered a pristine world—earth. Contains Richard Laurence’s translation of the Book of Enoch, all the other Enoch texts (including the Book of the Secrets of Enoch) and biblical parallels."
Book Synopsis The Book of Giants by : Joseph Lumpkin
Download or read book The Book of Giants written by Joseph Lumpkin and published by . This book was released on 2022-03-10 with total page pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Among the first seven scrolls discovered in the caves of Qumran at the Dead Sea is a scroll given the name, "The Book of Giants." It is thought to have been based on the Book of Enoch, a pseudepigraphical Jewish work from the 3rd century BCE. The Book of Giants, like the Book of Enoch, concerns itself with the Nephilim, which are the offspring of fallen angels, who are called the Watchers. Two main versions of the text exist. The Dead Sea version is written in Aramaic. Another version has been found written in middle Persian, adapted from the Aramaic to fit into the Manichean religion. Both versions will be examined.Following theories speculating that the Book of Giants was once part of the Book of Enoch, we will attempt to place the two texts back together to render the complete story of the Watchers and the Nephilim. We will discover the history and contributions of these ancient scrolls and look carefully at their content and meaning. Throughout the combined texts of the Book of Giants and the Book of Enoch we will examine all the biblical and apocryphal references and parallels within the text. The result is an in-depth and panoramic view of the Angels, the Watchers, and the Nephilim, and how one of the giants of the Nephilim race may have survived the flood intended to cleanse the Earth of their horror.

Book Synopsis Enoch and the Gospel of Matthew by : Amy E. Richter
Download or read book Enoch and the Gospel of Matthew written by Amy E. Richter and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2012-07-18 with total page 227 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Matthew's Gospel contains material unique to it among the canonical Gospels. What is the background for this material? Why does the writer of Matthew's Gospel tell the story of Jesus in the way he does--including women in his genealogy, telling the story of the birth of Jesus in his particular way, and including the visit of the magi led by a star? Enoch and the Gospel of Matthew shows that the writer of Matthew was familiar with themes and traditions about the antediluvian patriarch Enoch, including the story of the fall of the angels called "watchers," who transgress their heavenly boundaries to engage in illicit relations with women and teach them forbidden arts. The Gospel writer shows that Jesus brings about the eschatological repair of the consequences of the watchers' fall as told in the Enochic legend. This study focuses on Matthew's genealogy and infancy narrative and also has implications for the study of women in Matthew, since it is often through the stories of women in Matthew that the repair of the watchers' transgression takes place.

Douglas Kenyon In Forbidden History writer and editor J. Douglas Kenyon has chosen 42 essays that have appeared in the bimonthly journal Atlantis Rising to provide readers with an overview of the core positions of key thinkers in the field of ancient mysteries and alternative history. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Shortly after accepting the flat earth as a model for the world, I decided to revisit the Book of the Courses of the Heavenly Luminaries to see if my new understanding would somehow mirror what Enoch was sharing as the motion of the sun and moon. As I began to read chapters 71-82, I found to my utter amazement that I was able to grasp those passages. I knew then that the vision that the angel Uriel had shown to Enoch could only be deciphered if one were to imagine Enoch's description of the revolution of the sun and the moon. As seen from above the flat circular plane of the earth as described by Isaiah; and that Enoch must have been taken up to perhaps where Polaris is, centered directly above the North Pole, and while looking down at the backdrop of the earth, was instructed on the motions of both the sun and moon. Without such conception, it is in my opinion impossible to apply these descriptions to the model of the earth as a spherical planet.

Book Synopsis Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher by : Joseph Lumpkin
Download or read book Enoch, Jubilees, Jasher written by Joseph Lumpkin and published by Fifth Estate Publishing. This book was released on 2014 with total page 354 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Three of the most popular and sought after apocryphal books are now presented in a single volume. - The Book of Enoch is quoted by Jude, cited by Peter, and read by the apostles, Enoch (1 Enoch) informs our ideas of angels and demons. The book describes the fall of a group of angels called, the Watchers, who took the daughters of men as wives and fathered the Nephilim (Genesis 6: 1-2). Enoch goes on to record amazing visions of heaven and the workings thereof. Enoch is an ancient Jewish religious work, traditionally ascribed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah. It is regarded as canonical by the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. - The Book of Jubilees, also known as The Little Genesis and The Apocalypse of Moses, opens with an extraordinary claim of authorship. It is attributed to the very hand of Moses; penned while he was on Mount Sinai, as an angel of God dictated to him regarding those events that transpired from the beginning of the world. The story is written from the viewpoint of the angel. The angelic monolog takes place after the exodus of the children of Israel out of Egypt. The setting is atop Mount Sinai, where Moses was summoned by God. The text then unfolds as the angel reveals heaven's viewpoint of history. We are lead through the creation of man, Adam's fall from grace, the union of fallen angels and earthly women, the birth of demonic offspring, the cleansing of the earth by flood, and the astonishing claim that man's very nature was somehow changed, bringing about a man with less sinful qualities than his antediluvian counterpart. The story goes on to fill in many details in Israel's history, ending at the point in time when the dictation began on the mount. - The Book of Jasher reveals a large quantity of additional information about the period between divine creation and the time of Joshua's leadership over Israel when the Israelites enter into the land of Canaan. The Book of Jasher includes details about the antediluvian patriarchs, angels, watchers, the flood, the tower of Babel, and many other events mentioned in the Bible. The tales are expanded and infused with detail not previously available. This means we receive insight into the lives of Abraham, Noah, Enoch, Joseph, and many other biblical figures. We come to understand how they became great and why they acted as they did. We are also given hitherto unknown knowledge of historical events. We are shown how God's hand shaped history through his love and anger. We see how his disappointment with men and angels ended in earth's near total destruction.
