Group 1 trained using a combination of squats and power cleans. Group 2 trained using a combination of squats and plyometric depth jumps. The weight training protocol was a six-week cycle that varied the repetitions and load percentage of one-repetition maximum. The plyometric protocol was a five-week cycle of 10 repetitions with an increasing number of sets. A pretest was administered to all subjects before the training program and a posttest was given following the conclusion of the sixth week.
