Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: She’s spent the last seven hundred years hiding in plain sight. But Mouse's past is about to catch up with her. The Devil’s Bible. Once considered an eighth wonder of the world, the ancient book is shrouded in mystery. No one knows who wrote it or where it was written. Even dry-boned scholars whisper about the secrets hidden in the book: How it calls to the power-hungry. How it drives people mad. How it was written in the shadows by the hand of the devil himself. But no one knows the truth—no one except Mouse. She’s been running from the truth at the heart of the Devil’s Bible for so long that no one even knows her name anymore. She calls herself Emma Nicholas—a normal name for a normal college professor living a normal life. But all of it is a lie, and, when forces emerge that threaten to expose her, Mouse has no choice but to take flight once more. Desperate and on the run, Mouse unexpectedly finds hope in a stranger’s kindness. But it will take more than hope to win this game of souls—a battle between good and evil set in motion long ago at the birth of the Devil’s Bible.

Paul is asked to find a man. Mordecai Reese. It sounded simple enough, so he takes the case on. but later learns that there was a whole lot that Blair didn’t tell him, like Blair was acting in behalf of his Catholic Church Cardinal brother, who really wants the book Reese took from a Neo-Nazi living in America, a book plundered by the Nazis during World War II, when they were obsessed with the Occult. This particular book was supposedly written by a cloistered monk with the help of the Devil and later printed unknowingly by Gutenberg. Over the centuries the book stayed in the hands of the Catholic Church until the Nazis took it from them, and now Reese had it. Paul soon discovers that everyone wants to own the book including the Catholic Church, who wanted it back, some Neo-Nazis skinheads, a very attractive woman named Abigail Azazel, who represented the Nephilim, and of course Blair and Reese. The only rub was that those who possessed the book and opened it suddenly died.

Some call her a witch. Others call her an angel. Even Mouse doesn’t know who—or what—she is. But she means to find out. When young King Ottakar shows up at the Abbey wounded by a traitor's arrow, Mouse breaks church law to save him and then agrees to accompany him back to Prague as his personal healer. Caught in the undertow of court politics at the castle, Ottakar and Mouse find themselves drawn to each other as they work to uncover the threat against him and to unravel the mystery of her past. But when Mouse's unusual gifts give rise to a violence and strength that surprise everyone—especially herself—she is forced to ask herself: Will she be prepared for the future that awaits her? A highly original tale of fantasy and adventure, Bohemian Gospel heralds the arrival of a fresh new voice for historical fiction.

This book was released on 2020-01-28 with total page 108 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One day Satan, the devil, came to the Garden of Eden. He told Eve she should eat the fruit of the tree of good and evil. Eve said God had told her and Adam not to eat it. Satan said the fruit was very good. He told Eve it would make her wise. She would know good and evil. Eve chose to eat the fruit. Eve told Adam she had eaten the fruit. She would have to leave the garden. She gave Adam some of the fruit. Adam ate it. God came to see Adam and Eve. They had not obeyed God. They were afraid. They ran and hid. According to one tradition, refuse was stored on the lowest of the ark's three decks, humans and clean beasts on the second, and the unclean animals and birds on the top; a differing interpretation described the refuse as being stored on the utmost deck, from where it was shoveled into the sea through a trapdoor. Precious stones, said to be as bright as the noon sun, provided light, and God ensured that food remained fresh. Some more unorthodox interpretations of the ark narrative also surfaced: the 12th-century Jewish commentator Abraham Ezra interpreted the ark as being a vessel that remained underwater for 40 days, after which it floated to the surface When Obama was age two, Barack Sr. left to study at Harvard University; shortly thereafter, in 1964, Ann and Barack Sr. divorced. (Obama saw his father only one more time, during a brief visit when Obama was 10.) Later Ann remarried, this time to another foreign student, Lolo Soetoro from Indonesia, with whom she had a second child, Maya. Obama lived for several years in Jakarta with his half sister, mother, and stepfather. While there, Obama attended both a government-run school where he received some instruction in Islam and a Catholic private school where he took part in Christian schooling. Trump began his political career by seeking the nomination for the Reform Party for the 2000 presidential race and withdrew; he again publicly announced he would be running for president in the 2012 election. However it wasn’t until the 2016 election that Trump became the official Republican nominee for president and, defying polls and media projections, won the majority of electoral college votes in a stunning victory on November 8, 2016. Despite losing the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by almost 2.9 million votes, Trump's electoral win —306 votes to Clinton's 232 votes — clinched his election as the 45th president of the United States.

Book excerpt: Of all the demons, monsters, fiends, and ogres to preoccupy the western imagination in literature, art, and film, no figure has been more feared—or misunderstood--than Satan. But how accurate are the popular images of Satan? How--and why--did this rather minor biblical character morph into the very embodiment of evil? T.J. Wray and Gregory Mobley guide readers on a journey to retrace Satan's biblical roots. Engaging and informative, The Birth of Satan is a must read for anyone who has ever wondered about the origins of the Devil.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Most of us are regular people who have good days and bad days. Our lives are radically ordinary and unexciting. That means they're the kind of lives God gets excited about. While the world worships beauty and power and wealth, God hides his glory in the simple, the mundane, the foolish, working in unawesome people, things, and places. In our day of celebrity worship and online posturing, this is a refreshing, even transformative way of understanding God and our place in his creation. It urges us to treasure a life of simplicity, to love those whom the world passes by, to work for God's glory rather than our own. And it demonstrates that God has always been the Lord of the cross--a Savior who hides his grace in unattractive, inglorious places.Your God Is Too Glorious reminds readers that while a quiet life may look unimpressive to the world, it's the regular, everyday people that God tends to use to do his most important work.

Book excerpt: Books on the demonic abound, but not until Sydney H. T. Page's Powers of Evil has there been such a comprehensive biblical analysis of Satan and demons. Powers of Evil offers an exposition of every biblical reference to the demonic and analyzes historic and modern views. Page interprets particular passages from which some Bible readers have leaped to false conclusions. Studies of Jesus' confrontations with demons and of the exorcisms recorded in the Gospels and Acts examine the interplay of power and authority and the implications for the believer's stand in Christ.
