She excelled in Women s Softball. In 1978 she was a member of the Big Blue Machine, Bermuda s National Softball Team that won a gold medal in Medellin Columbia CA. She was named Most Valuable Player in the C. A. C. Games. In 1999 she was inducted into the Bermuda National Sports Hall of Fame. Earlier, Ronnie played fi rst base for the Devonshire (Recreation Club) Diamondettes in the Bermuda Petticoat Softball League. Reading is a top priority to Ronnie. She is a concerned parent, mentor and a person who takes delight in mentoring the total well-being of the child. She is inspired by God to write short stories for children. Her goal is to ensure that each child she comes into contact with is encouraged to take education seriously and make reading a priority.
