The incredible story of how hundreds of millions of people have come to believe that the human use of fossil fuels is the primary cause of global warming and climate change when it is now known that human-caused greenhouse gases do not have the climate forcing power to cause consequential changes in global temperature, but that several recently recognized features of our amazing sun do have the power to cause the changes in global temperature we are witnessing and have seen in the past. Short term, mid-term, and long term global surface temperature changes all have different solar magnetic, radiational, and proximity causes. Our recent global warming, which was so alarming to many, is caused by a 375-year solar dual magnetic wave half-cycle which reached a minimum during the Little Ice Age some 370 years ago, and is now approaching its temperature peak which should occur within the next decade. After that the earth will begin to slowly cool just as it has done some 13 times in the last 10,000 years.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Climate alarmists continue to issue dire forecasts of global disasters in coming decades based on long-term computer projections of alleged "anthropogenic global warming" (AGW)—supposedly caused by accumulation of atmospheric carbon dioxide produced in the burning of fossil fuels. Evidently, some climatologists are embarrassed by the fact they haven't yet been able to model and accurately simulate some of the phenomena known to be forcing Earth's climate changes, and consequently, they appear to have adopted a strategy of claiming any effects on Earth's climate by such phenomena are insignificant by comparison to the effects of atmospheric carbon dioxide. Unfortunately, there is no scientific evidence on which to base such a claim. With climatologists conspicuously unable to prove their AGW hypothesis, AGW demagogues are now desperately trying to change the subject. By branding nonbelievers as "climate deniers" and "science deniers," AGW demagogues are falsely claiming nonbelievers deny the well-established fact that Earth's climate changes over time. Nothing could be further from the truth. Such pathetic attempts to change the subject are nothing more, nor less, than the classic smokescreen strategy employed by demagogues whenever they're caught in lies of their own making. The real "climate deniers" are those who are so ignorant of our physical world they don't know the only thing constant about Earth's climate is that it is now, and always has been, constantly changing—and changing so chaotically the changes can be accurately described only as stochastic. Rather than continuing to further inflame climate-change hysteria, isn't it about time to admit the obvious reality that Earth's climate is, and always has been, constantly changing far beyond any feeble human capability to stop it and acknowledge that humanity should focus on accommodating what it can't control? To do otherwise would be just one more pathetic demonstration of human gullibility and ignorance.

Book excerpt: From Steve McIntyre's earliest attempts to reproduce Michael Mann's Hockey Stick graph, to the explosive publication of his work and the launch of a congressional inquiry, The Hockey Stick Illusion is a remarkable tale of scientific misconduct and amateur sleuthing. It explains the complex science of this most controversial of temperature reconstructions in layperson's language and lays bare the remarkable extent to which climatologists have been willing to break their own rules in order to defend climate science's most famous finding.

Book excerpt: It's time for the real story behind climate change. Climate change has been a hot topic in recent years. Everyone has something to say about global warming, but most of the information has been presented in one-sided fashion. With so many conflicting views, it has been difficult to determine the best course of action to solve the problem everyone's talking about. Now, author Steven E. Sondergard presents the balanced approach needed for appropriate solutions. Weighing both sides of the issue, readers will finally be able to find the truth about global warming. Complete with extensive research and numerous calculations testing theories, Sondergard provides readers with an unbiased, in-depth look at the many questions frequently asked, such as: bull; What is climate, and what causes it to change? bull; Are all greenhouse gases created equal? bull; Is global warming real? bull; What impact does mankind have on increased greenhouse gases? bull; Can mankind take action to avoid a climate 'jump'? bull; How much should human-caused greenhouse gas production be reduced? bull; What is the outlook for fossil fuels? bull; What can we reasonably do? Find a balanced and realistic view of climate change with Sondergard's thought-provoking Climate Balance.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: One of the most disturbing aspects of the entire global warming debate is the certitude of believers, driven almost entirely, if not exclusively by tribal affiliations. This book shows that while CO2 contributes to climate conditions it is not a primary driver, and that the climate models on which energy policies are based are invalid. It also addresses the unconscionable tactics employed by politicians and their media acolytes to perpetuate the myth that human-caused CO2 is responsible for global warming and climate change. A small group of ideologues have over the years hijacked an otherwise noble cause, environmental consciousness, and used it as a proxy to redistribute wealth and ultimately to replace western-style democracies with a world socialist structure under the auspices of the United Nations. To achieve their goals, they use Alinsky-style tactics to denigrate, ridicule, and intimidate skeptics, and Orwellian methods including rewriting history to ensure conformity to their message. There are no angry mobs demanding consensus for the theories of Gravity or E=mc2 because they are testable, repeatable, and confirmed through experiment and observation. The un-testable, un-provable relationship between CO2 and a warming planet plays into the hands of scrupulous ideologues. Only through such an oblique association could they develop a pseudo-secular religion with millions of believers who view those who question its dogma as heretics.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "Societies unravel when they lose the glue that holds them together." The opening words of Global Warming in a Politically Correct Climate reveal author M. Mihkel Mathiesen's passionate struggle to reveal how the truth has become controversial in the modern community. Mathiesen explores the paralyzing effect political correctness has on society and the associated environmental scares the public has accepted as fact for 30 years. Contrasting the exaggerations and glib explanations of politicians, advocacy groups, and bureaucracies, Mathiesen provides a clear and revolutionary account of the actual science behind five major environmental campaigns. As the title indicates, Mathiesen's work culminates in a relentlessly objective analysis of the real causes of the present global warming. Based on the latest scientific findings, Global Warming in a Politically Correct Climate contains densely packed information never before published in a format accessible to the non-scientist. With the forgiving veil of political correctness lifted, the roles of advocacy groups, bureaucracies, politicians, industry, the legal profession, and career-conscious scientists are examined. Mathiesen particularly scrutinizes the media. Global Warming in a Politically Correct Climate is an enlightening look at how the transfer of wealth from an unwitting public is justified by averting non-existent threats, and how greed rather than pure idealism is at work in environmental politics.

The people around us are somehow convinced that the world is about to end unless we stop using fossil fuels. There is no scientific evidence to support this. This book explains why this belief is simply not true in terms anyone can understand. Fossil fuels have made America great. This book explains why we need to keep it that way.

Book excerpt: Have you ever wondered why so many people believe recent climate change is almost entirely the result of human activity, even when there's plenty of evidence to the contrary? It's because the UN's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) says so. This compact, readable book pulls apart the flawed science behind the IPCC's assertion that man-made CO2 is causing global warming. Author Ralph Alexander exposes the IPCC's deceptive manipulation of climate data, the roadblocks for the CO2 hypothesis favored by climate change alarmists, and the failed predictions of computer climate models. Dr. Alexander goes on to examine the consequences of the erroneous, but widespread belief that CO2 emissions need to be drastically curbed for the health of the planet. His analysis shows the folly of carbon trading schemes for regulating CO2, together with common illusions about renewable energy sources. The enormous economic cost of cap-and-trade systems squanders our resources on a problem that doesn't even exist.

Book excerpt: Affecting millions of people worldwide, global warming is one of today's most timely and vital topics. It's an issue that's been studied, written about, and debated by scientists and lay people alike. But in Beyond Global Warming, engineer John Durbin Husher argues that we have an even bigger problem on our hands-and shows us what we need to do about it. In Beyond Global Warming, Husher looks at the origins and causes of global warming and delivers compelling answers to the following questions: What is the earth's history relating to climate changes? What caused those changes? Is the population increase responsible for the global warming? Did the addition of oil and fossil fuels to the environment contribute to global warming? Husher suggests that the earth has been consistent and resilient to the many weather events it has experienced since its inception. He maintains that global warming is not related to an overall increase of carbon dioxide in the air, but that it is indicative of a far more pressing energy issue. Beyond Global Warming offers eight creative and powerful solutions for the crisis behind global warming so that, together, we can ease the situation for future generations.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: WANT ACCESS TO SOLID SCIENTIFIC FACTS REFUTING THE INCESSANT MEDIA HYPE SURROUNDING CLIMATE CHANGE? THEN THE MYTHOLOGY OF GLOBAL WARMING IS FOR YOU! The Mythology of Global Warming is intended to provide the general public with a broad spectrum of scientific and factual information on the subject of Climate Change. This book debunks the incessant, emotional, and largely unsubstantiated claims made by the progressive media and climate scientists that industrial societies such as the United States are destroying our planet due to the use of fossil fuels. What causes global warming? What is a greenhouse gas? What impact do carbon dioxide emissions from fossil fuels actually have on the Earth's climate relative to naturally occurring phenomena? Is all ice on Earth really melting, and are sea levels rising at a catastrophic rate? Are all forms of extreme weather, including hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, and droughts increasing dramatically? Are polar bears and other life forms being pushed to the brink of extinction? Will all of this mayhem cease if fossil fuels are replaced by 'green' renewable energy sources? Answers to these questions clearly show that hard facts do not support any of the above dire predictions. The science of global warming is indeed 'settled'; Global Warming is a myth. ..".Global warming proponents can't prove that man is destroying the planet due to global warming, but Dr. Bunker can prove that we are not. He packs a lot of punch in this small package. Read it, and arm yourself for the great debate."---Phil Valentine, nationally syndicated talk show host of the Phil Valentine Show on Westwood One "In the past 20 years I have reviewed two dozen books dealing with Anthropomorphic Global Warming. There has not been nor ever will be a more comprehensive and understandable book on this subject which is to critical to the entire world's population."--Jay Lehr, Ph.D. Science Director, The Heartland Institute "This is a scholarly work written by a true scientist, yet in a way that makes the topic still accessible to the average person interested in understanding both the science and also the politics of global warming. Highly recommended."--Dr. Jennifer Marohasy, Senior Fellow, Australia's Institute of Public Affairs, co-author of "Climate Change: The Facts, 2014" "Unlike so many others, Dr. Bunker's book is so much more than a supposition wrapped up in a pretty bow of meaningless numbers. If you've been waiting for a book that gives actual facts in an easily checked form, you've found it."--G. Dedrick Robinson Ph.D., co-author of Global Warming: Alarmists, Skeptics & Deniers. "A timely and well researched book not only for the thoughtful engaged reader, but also for the general public. The book is up-to-date and deals honestly with continuing controversies and uncertainties."--Dr. Sonja A. Boehmer-Christiansen, Department of Geography, Hull University, Former Editor, Energy & Environment.
