Near Mont Orgueil Castle, in Jersey, there is an ancient fortress, called to this day Le Fort de Caesar: and at Rozal christianity introduced. 197 there is an entrenchment still bearing the name of La Petit Cesaree. In Guernsey there is the romantic promontory of precipitous rocks called Jerbourg, derived, as we have shown above, from the corruption of the name Voesaris-hurgum.
