Directories of the towns of Highland, Hurt, Meridian, Orchard and Star will be found on pages 309 to 311. A list of the land owners of Ada County begins on page 312 and ends on page 345. Pages 346 to 388 are devoted to a classified business directory, in which all lines of business and the professions are listed under appropriate headings. This directory contains by actual count 6255 names (not including the names of firms, corporations, death or removal notices). This is increase of 808 names over the number contained in our last directory; and using the lowest multiple in vogue in Western cities, estimate the present population of Boise - including South Boise and the immediate suburbs - to be 't4, o74. We are pleased to mate the continued and increasing prosperity of Boise and the rapid growth of its commercial interests. This has been especially noticeable during the past three or four years.
