Adults may be too busy to watch what's going on over their heads, but children will have spotted something. Getting their father's permission, Holmes sends the twins to find out who has spotted what. With the help of a newspaper boy and a young hansom driver, the twins track the likely owner of the airship to a circus tent and send the driver back to alert Holmes. Soon they find themselves trapped in the ship itself, which is slowly rising out of the tent, on its way to blow up 221!
