For more than a century, her homeland the Northern Alliance has fought the Kingdom of Tressor in what has come to be known as the Perpetual War. While her people look upon the conflict with reverence, Myranda’s hate for the war has made her an outcast. When she finds a precious sword among the equipment of a fallen warrior, she believes her luck may have changed. Little does she imagine that the treasure will draw her into an adventure of wizards and warriors, soldiers and rebels, and beasts both noble and monstrous. The journey will teach her much about her potential, about the origins of the war, and about the threat her world truly faces. Book Synopsis Deacon's Soetry by : Joshua R. Gautreau
Download or read book Deacon's Soetry written by Joshua R. Gautreau and published by Author House. This book was released on 2014-11-18 with total page 119 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is based upon life experiences, through ups and downs of any and every situation, through every relationship, through all different life occasions and what they have to offer. Whether it be a holiday or just a normal average day or night. These times of experiences are very detailed and described through song and poetry as one in which I like to call and proclaim as soetry. Song and poetry are nearly the same thing. The only difference is adding music to the words of either to create a poetic song that tells us all a story of an event in life's circumstances through what has taken place. Music, song, and poetry has always been part of my life and I believe has been passed down from generation to generation throughout my family unto myself for me to be able to create and present something as to the world today through the book that you're reading. Everything that we go through and experience in life is meant to be. Some events are great, others not so much. We always learn life's lessons through the failures that we come across. Although sometimes not so pleasant, we all must experience these not-so-pleasant events in life to learn from them to get to where we are, in what I like to call the Growing and Going Process, into the direction of learning from them. And if somehow we don't, the lesson of life will repeat itself until we do learn so we can make it further in life to have great accomplishments. We all have a future, a purpose, and a plan, whether we see it or choose to accept it or not.

Book excerpt: Inspired, well-trained, and spiritually mature deacons can be a mighty force for the church, and local American churches need their servants to excel in their ministry and service to the Body of Christ now more than ever. Most pastors and deacons in America are sincere in their desire to serve, but many do not receive enough advanced orientation, and even more receive no ongoing training at all. This lack can create much frustration and may even overwhelm deacons and their families as they try to manage the minefields of ministry. Daily Devotions for Deacons, by Russell R. Cook, guides deacons in daily preparation for their enormous and invaluable task and inspires them to become all Christ means for them to be. This guide for deacons offers a year of brief yet deeply spiritual and relevant biblical devotions. For a few moments a day, five days a week, all who desire to live as fully devoted followers of Christ will benefit from Cooks years of teaching and training pastors and deacons across America. By learning the principles and qualities necessary for a strong, effective ministry, and by applying these same qualities of service in everyday life, we begin to fulfill our God-given role and draw ever closer to His presence and His truth.
