Even if you knew in the back of your mind it was inevitable you still hoped against hope that it would turn out differently? In my case I broke, totally...completely...yet, the thing that finally broke me was not one singular thing but rather an accumulation of things that just snowballed. It’s like the snowball had been rolled uphill and then just like that...BOOM...a freefall, straight downhill with no brakes! This is my story of release, recovery, and redemption. Walk with me as I explore what it means to find God in the darkest of places and witness the real struggle as I hold on to Him and ultimately find my way from the depths of the pit and learn to soar above unforgiving circumstances on the way to my destiny and purpose.

Book excerpt: This book is designed for those that desire a closer relationship and fellowship with the Father. As the reader reads this poetry, we feel once they grasp the idea to look at our Father and not the situation(s) they may face, they will find that God is a way maker and in his presence there is peace. So many times in life, we awake in a strange land; meaning, this is a new place in our lives and/or families, we are not sure how we got here or how to get back to that first love, which is God. We can have all of those things that God has designed; all we have to do is to ask. We communicate with our Father when we read, pray, fast, talk, and sing to him. Giving a total submission to God and allowing him to shine through our being, readers will find that when God has our undivided attention, how he turns a bad situation to a glorified project for his kingdom. When we dont communicate with God, we experience separation, and this makes us feel that God is far away from us and perhaps we may even feel that he has given up on us. This is the flesh and carnal nature talking to us, based on our emotions. God is with us even when we hit the bottom.

This book will help you to not only hear the voice of GOD but persuade you to immediately start following GOD’s Words to achieve “Success.” As you may know or will learn, life is an amazing journey. It is full of opportunities, disappointments, excitement and the unknown. 1 Peter 1:13 states, “Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober, and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” GOD wants to help us achieve our goals and if it’s in His will, GOD will make your greatest dream a reality. So, never give up, keep on believing, expecting and declaring that good things will happen for you each day. I am still hopeful that eventually there will be peace on this earth if it’s GOD’s will. John 14:27(NIV) states, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.”

Now in his final year of college the next phase of the greatness that his father has always proclaimed for him is set to come to pass. Everything that Gabriel has worked for is right there for the taking. There is just one problem...his vices are threatening to unravel the very fabric of who he is. Still, even worse, some of those closest to him are not even aware of the tumult that he wrestles with from dusk till dawn and once they find out the wheels will surely come off. In trying to be what everyone else is sure he is supposed to be Gabriel is struggling to find out who he really is. In the face of Black Lives Matter, Blue Lives Matter, and All Lives Matter something happens that will leave Gabriel asking if he even matters! Even those from the “right side of the tracks” can go left. The weight of certain expectations hover over him like the shadow of a 40-foot-tall bear. Now, the very same shadow of fortune that has always protected him will undoubtedly destroy him unless he figures out just how he got here and comes to grips with who he has become...

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Passion, as I have come to know it, is necessary to reach the pinnacle of true happiness. Without it, we would remain incomplete. After a long period of self-assessment, I was able see that life itself is fragile enough without us doing our best to damage it. Priority is precedence for direction, just as reflection is another chance at redemption. It is funny how a mirror can give birth to perspective. My own words opened the window that would come to allow me to appreciate the frailties of what God has given me, teaching me an ultimate lesson. Is it possible to fully comprehend what is seen? Not all the time, especially when looking through natural eyes. Often, we let our emotions block the clarity of what we see. As these words become real to you, may you find not only the strength to believe, but the conviction to make a difference! In this volume of poetry, there is much to ponder as I am reminded of just why I am here...and now, my purpose could not be more evident! Within the walls of this creative space I am clutching bricks that break down the very conventions of what I thought I knew, using these poetic pieces as cement and ink as the mortar hoping to leave an imprint on the mind so concrete that it will stand time’s test in the future of our generations to come. May this volume of poetry breathe fresh air into your life and help you shape your own vision as you begin to leave your mark on those around you. In these times, we can ill afford to be HISTORY, we must make HISTORY!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The reason why readers would be so interested is because of the spirituality: Learning the spiritual side of life, how good God really is, and how to include the word of God into the equation; in every area of their lives, whether it be financially, physically, mentally, by faith, in which we walk by: Faith is simply believing that God is our source, and not the world economy. To understand that God has given us very things that we need to accommodate us in this life. Most things, we can do for ourselves because of the abilities that God has bestowed upon us; but the Heavenly things, we have to declare and decree from Heaven, such as when we pray; whatsoever we pray for, believe that we already received them, and then you will have them. You have to trust God first, before you receive whatever it is that you ask for in Jesus name. It is always have to be in Jesus name, if not in Jesus name, then you might have a delay, you see, that's how the gospel works. Jesus died for us to have the things that we are so deserving of, all we have to do is believe it, declare it, and decree it, and it shall be given to us. But, if you don’t spend time in the word of God, then you have no clue what to expect, you have no knowledge of all the promises that God said yes to; there is over seventy seven hundred promises in the Bible that God said yes to, we just have to believe, and say yes to them in order to receive the promises of God; you see, it's simple when you know the word of God for your lives. I've study the word of God for the last ten years of my life. So I am a witness to the fact. And here's another fact, I use to wake up every morning with back pain, I would stumble to my feet, but, once I'd reach for my bible and started to read it, before I could get through the first paragraph the pain had vanished. Once I'd learn how to pray and study the bible, I haven't taken a pain pill since February of 2010. I would like for everyone to experience the goodness of God and the example of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. If only I knew back then, what I know now, I would have been committed myself to Jesus. I just pray that everyone will learn to give their lives over to Jesus. So that's how much I think that my book will be an inspiration to others. So yes, I am completely satisfied with my work, so I approve it in every way for publishing. I thanked God, for giving me the strength to endure the last two and a half years to complete this book; it has been a blessing and honor to credit this book to God Almighty. My way of showing appreciation for all that God has done for me in my life. So there you have it. Thanks for the word, Roosevelt Jackson. Bless you all. In Jesus name. Until next time.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What do you do when you feel your prayers have not been answered? When, instead of the voice of God, you only hear silence? Where is God in the midst of the Christian's trials, tribulations and challenges? Author Precious Nwachukwu shares the lessons she learned about God and her walk with Him when she hit rock bottom. She wrote this as a result of her conversations with God while dealing with a condition of severe insomnia: 30 minutes of sleep each week for over 2 years. This book encourages every Christian who is in a rough place and ready to give up to pause and realize that God wants to promote you through your affliction. The book is especially for those who are close to giving up on life, the Christian walk, and God. It encourages the reader to examine his walk with Christ as a path towards seeking God earnestly. Delving deeper into the Christian walk, author Nwachukwu then addresses why relationships and marriages of Christians are causing brokenness and depression instead of encouragement. The prayers at the end of each chapter of the book help the reader accomplish an elevation from the valley of life to the mountaintop of life in the most practical way.
