De esta manera, se presentan los aportes al conocimiento de William James, Charles Peirce, John Dewey y George Mead, los cuales pueden ser de utilidad tanto para estudiantes en formación como para terapeutas ocupacionales. Finalmente, este libro propone la comprensión del pragmatismo clásico como herramienta que permite identificar elementos epistemológicos que aportan al desarrollo, la investigación, la práctica y la comprensión de la terapia ocupacional en el día de hoy.
