Il s'agit d'un nouveau procédé direct/indirect, tout à fait original, qui permet de transposer de manière prévisible un montage directeur ou wax-up, en restauration composite. La modélisation des wax up est issue du transfert des lignes de références qui proviennent de l'analyse esthétique réalisée par le praticien. Le prothésiste élabore le wax up pour faciliter le travail du praticien. Cette technique utilise des composites fluides nanohybrides. Ces composites fluides de « dernières générations » ont été développés comme des alternatives aux composites hybrides conventionnels. Ils sont hautement nano-chargés ce qui élargit leurs champs d'application clinique. Dans cette famille de composite, le matériau G-ænial Universal Injectable ® de chez GC présente toutes les propriétés requises pour réaliser cette technique et nous l'avons choisi pour réaliser un cas clinique. Un matériau à empreinte transparent en polysiloxane de vinyle est utilisé pour reproduire le wax-up, la matrice transparente peut être placée en bouche au niveau de dents et utilisée comme moyen de transfert, permettant l'injection et la polymérisation de la résine composite fluide. La gestion des excès lors de la mise en place de composite injectable peut être complexe, l'utilisation de plusieurs clés d'injection peut être préconisé. La mise en œuvre de cette technique peut être réalisée de façon semi-permanente, son remplacement par des restaurations indirectes en céramique sera facilement réalisable. Néanmoins, son coût est nettement inférieur, de plus sa survie fonctionnelle et esthétique peuvent être hautement améliorées par des séances d'entretien avec repolissage et/ou réparation.
