Welchen Nutzen hat die Elternarbeit von einem systemischen Ansatz her und welche Schwierigkeiten können auftreten? Welche Erfahrungen konnten mithilfe systemischer Elternarbeit gemacht werden? Mit diesen Fragen beschäftigt sich diese Arbeit. Systemisches Arbeiten zeichnet sich unter anderem durch die verschiedenen Sichtweisen aus, welche mittels einer Vielzahl an Interventionen entstehen können. So entsteht mithilfe der Leitfadeninterviews mit drei verschiedenen Zugangspersonen ein multiperspektivischer Blick auf die systemische Elternarbeit, welcher mithilfe der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring ausgewertet wird. Die Themenauswahl der Arbeit erfolgte durch den Praxisbezug im Rahmen einer Anstellung der Verfasserin in einer Jugendhilfeeinrichtung. Die Jugendhilfeeinrichtung zeichnet sich durch ihre systemische Haltung in der Arbeit mit ihren Klient/innen aus. Den Sozialarbeiter/innen wird ermöglicht, eine systemische Ausbildung zu absolvieren und diese in der Einrichtung unter anderem als Berater auszuführen. Die Jugendlichen in der Wohngruppe kommen alle aus verschiedenen Lebensverhältnissen und haben alle individuelle Erfahrungen in ihrem Leben gesammelt. Jede/r Einzelne verfügt über eine andere Beziehung zu seinen/ihren Eltern, bei manchen besteht Kontakt zu beiden Elternteilen, bei manchen nur zu einem Elternteil. Des Weiteren leben Jugendliche mit Fluchthintergrund in der Einrichtung. So einzigartig die Jugendlichen sind, sind auch ihre Eltern. Auch sie haben ihre eigene Geschichte und dennoch haben alle die Gemeinsamkeit, dass ihre Kinder nicht mehr bei ihnen leben und stattdessen in einer Wohngruppe von Sozialarbeiter/innen und Erzieher/innen erzogen werden. Dennoch ist die Einbindung der Eltern in das Leben ihrer Kinder enorm wichtig und notwendig für den Hilfeverlauf und die Entwicklung des Kindes. Durch das Implizieren des systemischen Ansatzes in die Elternarbeit können die Eltern in den Alltag ihrer Kinder verstärkt miteinbezogen werden. Je nach Zielführung wird entweder an der Rückführung in die Herkunftsfamilie oder an einer Verselbstständigung des/der Jugendlichen gearbeitet. Der Leitgedanke der systemischen Arbeit besteht darin, dass jeder Mensch die Lösung für sein "Problem" in sich trägt.

Die systemische Forschung und Praxis ist in den letzten fünfzig Jahren deutlich gewachsen und hat sich weiterentwickelt. Des Weiteren wurde sie in unterschiedlichsten Arbeitsfeldern angewandt. Bei dem systemischen Ansatz stehen die Kommunikation und die einzelnen Systeme der Klient*innen im Vordergrund. Die Zahl der Kinder und Jugendlichen, welche in Obhut genommen wurden, im Jahr lag 2021 bei 47 523. Im Vergleich zum Jahr 2020, betrug die Zahl der Kinder und Jugendlichen 45 444, hieraus lässt sich schließen, dass die Zahl um ca. 2000 gestiegen ist. Diese steigende Zahl lässt vermuten, dass viele Jugendliche auch in stationäre Jugendhilfeeinrichtungen übergeben werden. Es stellt sich die Frage, ob eine systemische Beratung in einer Jugendhilfeeinrichtung angewandt werden kann und ob diese den Jugendlichen einen hilfreichen Aspekt bietet. Des Weiteren stellt sich die Frage, ob es Sozialarbeiter*innen möglich ist, systemisch zu arbeiten und eine Anwendung in der sozialen Arbeit für ein systemisch orientiertes Arbeiten zu finden ist.

It was conceived as a direct response to policy-related and media-generated concerns about male teacher shortage and offers a critique of the call for more male role models in elementary schools to address important issues regarding gender, race and the politics of representation. By including the perspectives of minority teachers and students, and by drawing on feminist, queer and anti-racist frameworks, this book rejects the familiar tendency to resort to role modelling as a basis for explaining or addressing boys’ disaffection with schooling. Indeed, the authors argue, on the basis of their research in urban schools in Canada and Australia, that educational policy concerned with male teacher shortage and the plight of disadvantaged minority boys would benefit from engaging with analytic perspectives and empirical literature that takes readers beyond hegemonic discourses of role modelling.
