A cet effet, ce travail de thèse porte sur des matrices à base d’étain, en vue d’améliorer la faible durabilité chimique des verres de phosphates. L’ajout d’oxydes, la substitution oxygène / azote, les réactions d’oxydo-réduction sont les pistes explorées. L’intérêt des techniques de chimie combinatoire appliquées à la science verrière a été mis en évidence. Le gain de temps lors des synthèses et des caractérisations est un atout pour l’exploration de nouveaux systèmes vitreux.

Un taux accru d'oxyded'argent permet de maximiser la quantité de paires au sein de la matrice vitreuse lors de la synthèse dumatériau. Ce dimère favorise les processus d'agrégation conduisant à la formation d'espèces lors del'interaction locale entre le verre et le laser femtoseconde infrarouge. Une étude par spectroscopie RPEmenée sur des échantillons irradiés par des sources ionisantes a permis de montrer que le débit de dose estprépondérant quant au contrôle des processus chimiques. Des centres à électron et à trou sont les espècesmajoritairement stabilisées à faible débit de dose, alors que la formation d'agrégats d'argent luminescentsintervient pour des puissances crête élevées typiques des lasers ultra-courts. Le caractère local de lastructuration par Direct Laser Writing a permis de créer des objets 3D originaux. L'analyse fine de ladistribution chimique au sein d'objets fluorescents a permis de montrer clairement une zone de déplétion enions argent au centre. Les effets de migration d'ions depuis le centre du faisceau laser vers le bord externea ainsi été mis en évidence. Le dopage des verres photosensibles par des ions europium a permis de montrerdes effets de synergie entre agrégats d'argent photo-inscrits et lanthanides trivalent. En effet, une exaltationde l'émission de luminescence de ces derniers à l'endroit des structurations laser a été mesurée.

Book excerpt: Dans le domaine de la chirurgie osseuse, l'utilisation des biomatériaux d'origine naturelle présente depuis quelques temps des risques de contaminations par des virus. Ce phénomène a conduit les physico-chimistes, les chirurgiens et les industriels à développer des matériaux synthétiques. Le but de ce travail de thèse est de contribuer au développpement des verres bioactifs en tant que matériaux en site osseux. Il a porté en particulier sur la synthèse des verres par deux méthodes : la méthode de fusion et le procédé sol-gel. Ces matériaux ont fait l'objet d'études in vitro en absence puis en présence des cellules afin d'évaluer leur potentiel de bioactivité, de réactivité chimique et de biocompatibilité. Les études structurales et morphologiques pour l'étude de la cinétique de formation d'une couche d'hydroxyapatite (Ca10(PO4)6(OH)2) à la surface des différentes compositions synthétisées ont été mis en évidence par différentes techniques de caractérisation telles que la DRX, le FTIR, le MEB et l'EDX. Les résultats obtenus montrent la formation de deux nouvelles phases cristallisées à la surface du verre synthétisé par voie sol-gel : l'hydroxyapatite et la calcite. Quant aux verres élaborés par fusion, les techniques d'analyse ont mis en évidence un caractère bioactif pour les compositions E1, E2, E3 et E4 et un caractère biorésorbable pour la composition E5. Du point de vue de la biocompatibilité, des tests de cyotoxicité ont révélé une absence de réactions toxiques en présence des cellules ostéoblastiques hFob in vitro.
