Book excerpt: Getting knocked up isn’t as easy the second time around. Jack & Marissa’s baby journey… STORM CELLS is a collection of sexy novelettes/storyline extras about Jack & Marissa in the Six Silver Strings Series by Lisa Gillis What if I haven’t read the G-String Set? The Storm Cells novelettes can stand alone, but are meant to enhance the above series and contain references to story lines in the series. How many are there? Three in the collection at this time. Readers asked for more of some story lines--the tour life & June--and these novellas were born. A Difficult Date with a Rock Star Where on the G-Strings timeline does A Difficult Date fall? After Jack & Marissa became engaged but before they married What is A Difficult Date about? The problems of their first Valentine’s Day falling in the middle of a tour. June Bugs Where on the G-Strings timeline does June Bugs fall? After Snow Storms What is June Bugs about? The requested story of why June came along so many years after the wedding Honeyed Moons Where on the G-Strings timeline does Honeyed Moon fall? After the wedding What is Honeyed Moon about? Jack and Marissa's honeymoon! EXCERPT: A black onsie. Her fingers ran over the silver snaps, and then trailed the white guitar design on the front. ‘R-O-C-K’ The letters ran down the fret board. Amazing detail for such a tiny garment. When folded it was a tiny mass of fabric. Adding it to the dresser drawer with the other baby things, she flipped out the light, and closed the door on the spare bedroom.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This monograph is a case study of an outbreak of severe local storms that produced several tornadoes and extensive large hail in Oklahoma on 26 May 1963. Several authors have combined to describe the organization, structure, and evolution of these storms from a number of points of view. The storms are analyzed on four different size scales: (1) as products of their large-scale environment, (2) as members of a mesoscale system or family unit, (3) as individual evolving cells, and (4) as tornado and hail factories, with the emphasis on the tornadoes and the hailstones themselves. Data are obtained from conventional synoptic and mesosynoptic networks, visual and photographic observations, surface weather surveys, weather radars, sferics detectors, balloon tracks, radioactivity measurements in precipitation, and hailstone thin sections. Simple models are presented describing the airflow, structure and life cycle of individual severe local storms. (Author)
