Anche in un’ottica comparatistica che ha guardato all’esperienza degli altri Paesi, la riflessione sulle prospettive ha preso in considerazione il ruolo delle discipline storico-giuridiche nella formazione odierna del giurista, i problemi della ricerca (ampliamento dei temi, orizzonti territoriali universali, interesse crescente verso la contemporaneità e tendenza alla specializzazione, con spinte “efficientistiche†in parte perverse per i criteri di valutazione che vanno prevalendo) e il rapporto con le altre materie della Facoltà legale e con le altre discipline storiche.Italo Birocchi è professore ordinario di Storia del diritto medievale e moderno nell’Università di Roma “La Sapienzaâ€. Si è occupato di storia dell’insegnamento del diritto e della cultura giuridica (scuola culta, diritto patrio, pensiero illuministico, i giuristi e il fascismo) e di storia della proprietà e dei contratti. È stato tra i direttori del Dizionario biografico dei giuristi italiani (XII-XX secolo), Bologna 2013.Massimo Brutti è professore emerito di Diritto romano nell’Università di Roma “La Sapienzaâ€.
