Book excerpt: Stephanus' Textus Receptus: The Complete New Testament in Greek Includes accents and breathing marks. This reprint edition has a two-coloumn layout, and the text is large and easy to read. There is plenty of space in the wide margins to add notes. This is the genuine 1550 Received Text of Robert Stephens, and should not be confused with later editions of a so-called "Textus Receptus" which were in fact edited to mirror the Authorized Version. Robert Estienne printed his first Greek New Testament in 1546. Although his first to editions are beautiful Greek texts, the third and most significant is known as the Editio Regia or the "Royal Edition", published in 1550 for King Henri II, which was based on more than 15 Greek sources. The 1550 version became known as the Textus Receptus and was used as the standard Greek text of the New Testament for a number of generations.

These stories are a legacy of God's faithfulness to His people. In this book, Dr. Stephen J. Nichols provides postcards from the church through the centuries. These snapshots capture the richness of Christian history with glimpses of fascinating saints, curious places, precious artifacts, and surprising turns of events. In exploring them, Dr. Nichols takes the reader on a lively and informative journey through the record of God's providence to encourage, challenge, and enjoy. This is our story--our family history. "THE CENTURIES OF CHURCH HISTORY GIVE US A LITANY OF GOD'S DELIVERANCES. GOD HAS DONE IT BEFORE, MANY TIMES AND IN MANY WAYS, AND HE CAN DO IT AGAIN. HE WILL DO IT AGAIN. AND IN THAT, WE FIND COURAGE FOR TODAY AND FOR TOMORROW."

A precise translation of the Hebraic-Koine Greek interlined with the Textus Receptus (the 1550 Stephanus), presented with Strong's Numbers and introducing the use of the Mickelson Context Numbers(c) and enhanced punctuation and morphology. This unabridged reference translation reveals the fullness of biblical Hebraic-Koine Greek using modern English words with enhanced grammar and punctuation. The Mickelson Clarified Translation was hand-translated into an easily readable English dialect that preserves the distinct concepts and contextual meanings used in the Hebraic biblical Greek text. This translation carefully interweaves biblical patterns of speech and communication into modern English. The companion dictionary also helps the student move beyond the traditional limitations of English translation. This dictionary reconciles biblical English vocabulary with biblical Greek vocabulary in order to assure the highest degree of conceptual integrity while maintaining English word consistency with the Greek text itself. The benefit is a more accurate presentation and correlation of biblical thoughts, concepts, and instructions. The Literary Reading Order arranges the books of the New Testament for optimal reading and correlation according to the literary patterns discerned in the Old and New Testament Scriptures. The Book of John is placed first in this order. It immediately identifies the True Author of life, creation and the Scriptures. It begins with the signature of God as presented in the book of Genesis. A Prelude from the Old Testament, the first three chapter of Genesis, is included. The Promise contained herein is Redemption unto Eternal Life for the ones trusting upon the Good News and specifically upon the Name of the Anointed-One, first to the Jew, and also to the Gent
