Book excerpt: Alex Revere is an eighteen-year-old "trash" high school quarterback. He has no idea he's a descendant of the great American patriot Paul Revere. He's predestined to be a great patriot himself. He parents die in car crash, forcing him to go reside with his paternal grandmother. She secretly buys him a $708,000 Tom Brady jersey that she doesn't know was stolen after Super Bowl 51 in February, 2017, when Tom Brady made the miraculous best comeback ever in Super Bowl history. The jersey is mystical and possesses the great spirit of the greatest quarterback in NFL history. Every time Alex puts the jersey on, he throws the football with greatness, just like Tom. He never loses a college game at Michigan State while wearing the magical jersey underneath his own number 15 jersey. He takes the Michigan State Spartans to a perfect season and wins the Rose Bowl. He earns the nickname AR-15, and earns the Heisman Trophy. The NFL wants Alex Revere so badly that they change the NFL rules and laws, allowing a Heisman trophy winner to be drafted to the NFL after only one year of college ball. Alex Revere gets drafted to the Detroit Lions after his freshman year at Michigan State. He's desperate to take the franchise to the Super Bowl victory they've never achieved. When he loses the mystical number 12 Tom Brady jersey, he plays like a trash rookie. He needs the jersey, and he's not incredible without it. Wearing the jersey, he breaks some NFL records that are from the 1950s and 1990s. Later he's accused of false domestic violence charges, and since the Ray Rice incident, the NFL does not tolerate any man who hits a woman under any circumstances. Alex Revere must prove his innocence to regain his fans' love and his own honor. He finally gets the magical jersey back and takes the Detroit Lions to their very first Super Bowl victory. AR-15 is the first rookie quarterback to win a Super Bowl, and he returns the jersey to its rightful owner at the end, as he's awarded the Super Bowl MVP award. This novella is a great story and a page turner for football lovers of football and contains vivid imagery of high school, college, and NFL games.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: There are dominion forces in our atmosphere that people can be subjected to, and these forces can make them alien to natural and evil forces that dominate human life. This dynamic enablement comes about when a person's soul anchors itself to the real source of life. The soul is a spiritual embodiment of knowledge and emotion in man. A soul is a search engine in man; it seeks a resting place to which it can attach itself so it can draw out the virtues of knowledge and emotion. When a person's soul is changed, everything about that person takes a different route. Man's nature changes only when a complex soul is achieved. The soul draws from blood its ability to unite with another soul to form a complex soul. Without blood the soul cannot find its resting place and cannot be changed. This is why the first requirement in the salvation of man is blood. And the blood of salvation needed to have different contents from the usual human blood on earth. The contents of the blood of Jesus can make people live like Martians in this world. Common human blood is highly wicked and only leads man to unite himself with wicked spiritual forces to form a soul that is dominated by evil.

We want to face our challenges and disappointment with grace; be creative and inspired; feel excited by a purpose; and live fearlessly through an intuitive, guiding wisdom. We want to love and feel loved, and realize genuine peace . . . but as much as we desire a significant spiritual breakthrough and long to know our Divine selves, we’re still not making the commitment that will ensure our success. We want the gifts, but we’re not engaging in the practical work necessary to obtain them, so we remain stuck and more frustrated than ever. We know a lot about the power of Spirit, yet we aren’t actually experiencing it. And we cannot do so through intellectual pursuits alone. In fact, we can only experience it through a deep, intentional daily practice of connecting with Spirit. When you truly make this connection, you’ll realize that it’s the most authentic, lasting power you have in your life. In this enlightening book, spiritual teacher Sonia Choquette will show you that even though you can’t control the outside world, with the power of your Spirit, you can create a sense of purpose within that brings about profound contentment and personal peace—no matter what is going on around you.

Book excerpt: Excerpt from Within the Soul: Helps in the Spiritual Life Whoso lives "by admiration, hope, and love," must necessarily be deeply impressed by the unity and the variety of Nature in her works, and by the prodigality with which she pours out her treasures in the forest and the field, in the air and the waters - a prodigality which is characterized by simplicity. Thousands of oaks spring from the teeming earth, yet no two oaks are exactly alike. Daisy differs from daisy, rose from rose, sparrow from sparrow, man from man. Nature does not repeat herself. Each of her gifts is a separate gift, and single, not a mere reproduction in every particular of what she has already bestowed. Where shall we find two human faces that are exactly the same? And as it is with mens outward appearance, so is it with their character, their spiritual being. About the Publisher Forgotten Books publishes hundreds of thousands of rare and classic books. Possessing the clearest conscious awareness, I poured into this book earnest revelations of the many evolving trials and tribulations that my boundless soul has triumphantly endured. For much too long, as it lay muzzled in humiliation, strapped by an unjust, disbelieving, and harshly critical society, I hid my uplifting voice behind depriving drapes of indignity. So without further ado, having a most ardent desire and tremendously driven hope to help guide and inspire as many as possible still suffering souls who fervently seek to find their inner immaculate shining light, it is my dutiful honor to introduce you to Conquering Spirit, for that am I, one of God’s most peculiar specimen designs. I am here to convey through my extraordinary life living examples that just as I have painstakingly risen from the darkest depths of hell on earth, so too can each and every one of you. “What God Almighty and the divine universe in its combined genius magnificence have created as one mighty miraculous masterpiece can never ever cease to be.”

Book excerpt: Everyone experiences God's leading. But how can this become more frequent? This Book One in the Unseen Series shows you the how and also the who. A person must be born as a spirit and your spirit can then grow. Your spirit is a distinct part of your being in contrast to your soul, also called the flesh, consisting of mind, emotions and body. This living spirit is to subordinate your flesh, and conflicts arise in the process of learning to live as a spirit. Jesus said that God is spirit, and seeks worshippers to worship Him in spirit and in truth. This uncommon book helps you to mature in spirit. The Bible describes the youth of three men with the phrase, "he grew strong in spirit." By reflecting on the truths in this book, your spirit will be evident to others also.
