Book excerpt: The biblical meaning of "truth" is not the same as "truth" defined according to world dictionaries. To speak what actually has happened is "truth"; to speak honestly is "truth" according to world dictionaries. But it is not "truth" in the eyes of the God. Why? Because scriptures reveal that the God is "true" ("alethes") and all mankind are liars or falsifiers ("pseustes")(Romans 3:4; John 3:33; Psalms 116:11; Psalms 62:8). Only one who is "true" ("alethes") is able to speak "the truth"("aletheia"). All falsifiers or liars are not able to speak "the truth"("aletheia"), because "the truth" is not in them. Unless mankind have the Lord Jesus Christ living in them, they are unable to speak "truth" ("aletheia"), because the Lord Jesus Christ is "the truth." The Lord Jesus Christ is the One who revealed the true meaning of "truth"("aletheia") in John 17:17. The word of the God is "truth". And Jesus Christ is "the truth" as revealed in John 14:6. Revelation 19:13 reveals that the name of Jesus Christ is "The Word of the God." A full understanding of the meaning of "truth" and "the truth" is given in the companion to this Book Number 27 by the same author in Book Number 26, titled, "Biblical meaning of the translated words truth and the truth in the New Testament Scriptures." Therefore the biblical meaning of "truth" is "the word of the God." And since Jesus Christ is "the truth", He is also "the Word of the God." It can be shown in scriptures that holiness, righteousness and love come from "truth"(John 17:17, 19; 2 Thessalonians 2:10; Ephesians 4:15; Romans 2:13; Ephesians 5:9). This means without "truth" no one can be holy and righteous and loving. In fact believers are made holy in truth. Without holiness no one can see the God (Hebrews 12:14) and without holiness no one can receive everlasting life. This is the reason for the writing of this book. This Book Number 27 reveals some important "truth" taught by the Lord Jesus Christ which are important to the salvation of believers into Christ Jesus which were/are hardly taught and preached anywhere in the public hearing of believers. Understanding "truth" and "the truth" will enable true believers to be led by the Holy Spirit of the truth to become righteous leading to perfect holiness and the end result is everlasting life. The teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ are the CORNERSTONE of the gospel of salvation and true believers need to know and understand as much of "truth" that had been revealed by the Lord Jesus Christ in order for them to be able to discern and reject the plethora of lies and false teachings that had/have been are being preached and taught in this, the last days - to ensure that they, the true believers are not led astray. The Lord Jesus Christ had also taught that in the last days many will come in His name, saying, "I am the Christ" and will deceive many (Matthew 24:5). There are indeed many who come in His name even today! But believers must be able to identify them. How? By testing them with "the truth." And many false christs and false prophets will rise up giving great signs and omens that powerful, to deceive even the elect(Matthew 24:24).

Book excerpt: This document's purpose is to spell out the Church's understanding of the nature of revelation--the process whereby God communicates with human beings. It touches upon questions about Scripture, tradition, and the teaching authority of the Church. The major concern of the document is to proclaim a Catholic understanding of the Bible as the "word of God." Key elements include: Trinitarian structure, roles of apostles and bishops, and biblical reading in a historical context.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book contains 3 booklets. The first titled "The God is the standard for all true believers into Christ Jesus" reveals that all true believers must receive their understanding of everything especially the meanings of any standard of behaviour must originate from the God. All expressions, actions, utterances, behaviour and works must conform to the true meaning as revealed by the God through His Son by His Spirit according to the Word of the God especially the New Testament. If believers use words and expressions as defined by the world and not defined by the God, they are walking according to flesh or living as old creation; they are not living according to the Spirit or they are not in Christ Jesus. That is why is it important for believers to know and understand the true meaning of such words as love, faith, good, truth, righteous, holy, etc as revealed by the God through His Son by His Spirit and not use meanings according to the world definitions. A believer who does not understand meanings of such words as love, faith, good, truth, righteousness, holy, etc will not be able to walk in love, faith, truth to become good, holy and righteous and that means the believer will be walking according to unrighteousness and the end result is everlasting condemnation. The second booklet titled, "Righteous men and the prophetic word of the God" reveals that the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ is the coming of the full revelation of all the truth or all the true meaning of all the word of the God and that includes all the commands and law of the God. It also means before the coming of Jesus Christ no Old Testament believer had full knowledge or full understanding of all the word of the God, which includes the law of the God. This booklet reveals the true meaning in particular to the many references in Old Testament of people of the God who were called righteous. In the New Testament it was explicitly revealed that both Jews and gentiles were already charged under sin because no mankind is righteous, not even one. For all fall short of the glory of the God. But the scriptures locked up all under sin, in order that the promise originating from faith of Jesus Christ might be given to those believiing. The Lord Jesus revealed that no one is good, except One, the God. The Lord Jesus also equated good to righteous and evil to unrighteous to corrupt. This means that no mankind is righteous except one, the God. The Lord Jesus further revealed that a good tree produces good fruits and a good tree is not able to produce evil fruits; a corrupt tree produces evil fruits, a corrupt tree is not able to produce good fruits. Fruits equal works. Since all mankind are evil as revealed in Genesis 6:5; 8:21, therefore no mankind are able to do good works. The Lord Jesus also revealed for anyone to become righteous he must be perfect in doing good works and that is to fulfil the law. The definition of how one can be made righteous is given in Romans 2:13. Since all mankind are evil, therefore no mankind are able to do good works or no mankind are able to fulfil the law. Yet there are many instances in Old Testament where men were called righteous by the God. This booklet explained according to scriptures why and how those who have not fulfilled the law were called righteous. It is important that all New Testament believers be made righteous in order to receive everlasting life. The third booklet reveals that all believers into Christ Jesus must be made perfect, holy, righteous and good in order for them to receive everlasting life. The teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ and His apostles/prophets were quoted to confirm this truth. Therefore, salvation is not only by grace alone or by faith alone but must be shown in completed good works or must be shown in fulfillment of the law by true believers in order for them to receive everlasting life.

John Piper's contemporary classic draws on key biblical texts to demonstrate that worship is the ultimate goal of the church and that proper worship fuels missionary outreach. Piper offers a biblical defence of God's supremacy in all things, providing a sound theological foundation for missions. He examines whether Jesus is the only way to salvation and issues a passionate plea for God-centredness in the missionary enterprise, seeking to define the scope of the task and the means for reaching 'all nations'. Let the Nations Be Glad! is a trusted resource for missionaries, pastors, church leaders, youth workers, seminary students, and all who want to connect their labours to God's global purposes. This third edition has been revised and expanded throughout and includes new material on the 'prosperity gospel'.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is perhaps the first book detailing the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ on many key aspects of the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God, which had/have been concealed and not revealed as CORNERSTONE teachings of the gospel of salvation. The greatest consequence of this is the total contamination of the gospel of salvation while the true gospel or treasure has been hidden for centuries. The author has been discipled and led to write this book in the face of the full contamination of the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God, in order that believers may be revealed the true treasure so that they are able to understand the true gospel as taught by the Lord Jesus Christ. the Saviour of the world, when He was on the earth the first time. Only when believers understand and obey the truth of the gospel will they be set free from slavery to the sin. And only when those believers who are set free from slavery to the sin can they become sons of the God. And only sons of the God can remain in the kingdom of the God forever, meaning only sons of the God can receive everlasting life. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Road and the Truth and the Life. The Truth is the Word of the God. And in the New Testament days the main truth is the gospel of salvation. Therefore unless believers know(meaning understand) the truth concerning the gospel of salvation, how can they obey the truth of the gospel to receive everlasting life? And especially in the last days, unless believers know the truth of the gospel, how can they identify and reject false prophets, false teachers and false preachers who spread false gospel to lead them astray into everlasting fire? In view of the many different variations of translation and interpretation of the teachings of Paul, Peter, John and James regarding the gospel of salvation, it is imperative for believers to know and understand the CORNERSTONE teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ on the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God. There is a plethora of writings by "Christian authors and theologians and teachers" on the teachings of Paul on the gospel of salvation relating to the law and works and love and faith and obedience and perfection, etc. Many preachers and teachers of the Word of the God were/are confused themselves over such important issues. For believers to know the correct interpretation and translation of the teachings of the apostles and prophets on the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God, believers must know and understand the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ on the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God. The main topics taught by the Lord Jesus Christ as revealed in this Book are: -a) Everlasting life, b) Righteous & Righteousness, c) Kingdom of the heaven and kingdom of the God, d) Save/Saved, e) Salvation, f) Resurrections, g) Live/lived, h) Die or perish forever, i) Soul - lose, gain or save, j) Judgement based on works, k) The gospel of salvation.Readers are urged to test the content in this Book against the Unadulterated Word of the God(the original texts of the Holy Bible) to prove and/or to disprove its veracity.

Book excerpt: In this important study Hays argues against the mainstream that any attempt to account for the nature and method of Paul's theological language must first reckon with the centrality of narrative elements in his thought. Through an in-depth investigation of Galatians 3:1-4:11, Hays shows that the framework of Paul's thought is neither a system of doctrines nor his personal religious experience but the "sacred story" of Jesus Christ.

FIRST TRUTH YOU CAN UNDERSTAND The Mystery of God, The Godhead and The Trinity And those that keep it from you are without excuse. (Rom. 1:18, 19,20) It is very important to understand the numerous things that have been changed in God's Word. One of the extremely important things that has been changed is God's name. God's name, YHWH, was replaced with the word LORD. Exodus 3:15 states, "And God said . . . The LORD [YHWH] . . . This is my name forever, And this is my memorial unto all generations." "And Jesus [Yeshua] answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord [YHWH] our God is one Lord [YHWH]: And thou shalt love the Lord [YHWH] thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment" (Mark 12:29, 30). Our Saviour's name was changed too! To the Greek, Iesous, which became Jesus. But His Birth name was Yeshua. Yeshua = Yehoshua = YHWH-Salvation = YHWH "As for our redeemer, the LORD [YHWH] of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel" (Isa. 47:4). "JESUS [Yeshua] SAID . . . IF YE BELIEVE NOT THAT I AM [HE], YE SHALL DIE IN YOUR SINS" (John 8:24). When Thomas called Jesus [Yeshua], My Lord and My God, Jesus [Yeshua] said to him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: Blessed are they that have not seen and yet have believed. Please continue with me in God's Word in this compilation of scriptures, in this revealing study; and you will understand The Mystery of God, The Godhead, The Trinity and discover three other very, very important TRUTHS that have been kept from you! Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The revelations contained in the Bible serve as a supreme guide by which to measure all human conduct, creeds, and religious opinions—and today’s Christians are in steady moral and spiritual decline. A 2010 survey by the Barna Research Group reveals that in American churches, Christians have become less knowledgeable about the Bible, less interested in spiritual disciplines, and more desirous of secular techniques to solve life’s problems, thus blurring the distinction between their conduct and that of nonbelievers. In Seven Pillars of Christianity: An Introduction to the Essential Christian Doctrines, Dr. William Ekane reveals the life-transforming foundations of the Christian faith and issues a clarion call for Christians to return to authentic Christianity. First presenting his compelling case for the scientific reliability and divine origin of the Bible, Dr. Ekane works closely with Scripture as he leads us through everything from the Lord Jesus Christ to trust and faith in the living God to, finally, the five major judgments and Revelation. These practical, strategic insights and essential truths are invaluable to new converts as well as mature believers. The Word of the Holy Spirit offers transformation, illuminating our hearts and minds as we strengthen our spiritual foundation and grow deeper in God.

But what else do we know about Christ-and more importantly, what else have we been taught? Was Jesus Christ a man or deity-or both? Was Christ God incarnate, or was he God's son-a distinct individual? And what is the significance of the body of Christ-the church-and the role of baptism in water for our salvation? It's All About Jesus provides clarity and insight into these foundational questions about Christ, the church, and salvation. Whether it is questions or beliefs about the nature of Christ, the significance of being part of the body of Christ, or how we worship and become new individuals in Christ, believers are encouraged to test all things and hold fast to that which is true. By searching the scriptures and rightly dividing the word of truth, we can grow in our faith and have a clearer and more intimate relationship with the Lord-for everything points to him.

This book was released on 2013-04-04 with total page 106 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This Book number 3 is a summary of some of the key teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ in conjunction with Book number 2("Teachings of Jesus Christ") as part of a series of books by the author to reveal the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ as the CORNERSTONE teachings concerning the kingdom of the God and the gospel of salvation. Most of the writings by "Christian authors" available in "Christian bookstalls" revealing the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God were interpreted mainly from the teachings of the apostles and prophets. The clear and specific teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ had/have not been revealed as the CORNERSTONE upon which all the teachings of the apostles and prophets should be based upon. Because of this, many "Christian theologians and authors" had/have not correctly interpreted the teachings of the apostles and prophets, in particular the teachings of Paul. This has contributed to the establishment of many "Christian sects" with many variations of understanding of the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God. This Book number 3 should be read together with Book number 2(Teachings of Jesus Christ) and Book number 5("Two important Greek words frequently used by the Lord Jesus Christ and His disciples in their teachings and preachings concerning "poieo" and "ergazomai.") to enable the reader to have a more complete understanding of the gospel of salvation and the kingdom of the God based upon the CORNERSTONE teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ. With understanding of the CORNERSTONE teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ believers will be able to return to follow the true Lord Jesus Christ or be able to obey the true gospel of salvation to make sure their election to everlasting life. The believers will be able to detect any incorrect interpretation by other preachers and "church organizations" concerning all aspects of the gospel of salvation taught by Paul and the other apostles and prophets. This Book number 3 reveals some key aspects of the teachings of the Lord Jesus Christ about the gospel and the kingdom of the God and their links to subjects such as: disciples; distinction between Old Testament and New Testament saints; parables of the kingdom of the God; works (good and evil); doing the will of the God; love and the love and to love; righteous. good, unrighteous, evil and corrupt; promise of the Holy Spirit; worship; everlasting life and everlasting death; mystery of divinity. Readers are urged to test the content in this Book against the unadulterated word of the God (the original texts of the New Testament) to prove and/or to disprove its veracity.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For more than forty years, I have had the privilege of sharing the truths of God's Word with one thought in mind and that was to help simplify a believer's Christianity. Very shortly after I accepted Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior, I had a well-meaning brother in the Lord caution me: "Be careful that no one tries to convince you that you need to speak in tongues. That's from the devil." The very same week, I had another well-meaning brother inform me: "If you don't speak in tongues, you're not even saved." Someone else said I had to pray the Lord's Prayer every day, another said I had to take communion every week, another said I had to kneel when I pray, another said I had to raise my hands, another said I had to be baptized before my salvation became real. Something was wrong. God can't be that complicated. I got before the Lord and simply prayed: "Lord, you are not a God of extremes. Please make Christianity easy for me," and down through years He has honored that prayer. The "Simplicity of Christ" is designed to help the unbeliever, the new believer, or anyone who is searching for a purpose for their life, understand that God had a plan from the very beginning of time, and that every man, woman, and child who accepts Christ as their Savior has a significant role in that plan. God is a God of revelation. He never intended to keep His plan secret. The book looks at how He revealed His plan, and the reason Christ had to come and die, through the concepts of the Covenant, the Tabernacle in the Wilderness, and the Feasts of Israel. It also takes the reader on a journey through the process the Lord had to take me through in order for the simplicity of His plan to become functional in my everyday life. The book is designed to break down the denominational barriers that keep the believer from truly experiencing the freedom and joy that is found in a personal relationship with the Lord of lords.

Book excerpt: The Bible unveils many divine truths concerning our outward, objective relationship with God, such as God as our creator and Christ as our advocate before God. Even more, however, it speaks of an inward, subjective relationship with God. It unveils Christ as our food, our drink, and our living breath, and it reveals that Christ is not only in the heavens but also within us, his many believers. In The Subjective Truths In The Holy Scriptures Witness Lee presents an overview of many subjective truths concerning God, who gave himself as food to be enjoyed by man; concerning Christ, who is our life; concerning the spirit of reality, who comes to the believers that they may enjoy God experientially; concerning the church which is his organic Body and the manifestation of God in the flesh; and concerning the Christian experience of God's divine life from regeneration to glorification.

Book excerpt: God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness," has shone in our hearts to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ. 2 Corinthians 4:6 This book is a cry from the heart of John Piper. He is pleading that God himself, as revealed in Christ's death and resurrection, is the ultimate and greatest gift of the gospel. None of Christ's gospel deeds and none of our gospel blessings are good news except as means of seeing and savoring the glory of Christ. Forgiveness is good news because it opens the way to the enjoyment of God himself. Justification is good news because it wins access to the presence and pleasures of God himself. Eternal life is good news because it becomes the everlasting enjoyment of Christ. All God's gifts are loving only to the degree that they lead us to God himself. That is what God's love is: his commitment to do everything necessary (most painfully the death of his only Son) to enthrall us with what is most deeply and durably satisfying-namely, himself. Saturated with Scripture, centered on the cross, and seriously joyful, this book leads us to satisfaction for the deep hungers of the soul. It touches us at the root of life where practical transformation gets its daily power. It awakens our longing for Christ and opens our eyes to his beauty. Piper writes for the soul-thirsty who have turned away empty and in desperation from the mirage of methodology. He invites us to slow down and drink from a deeper spring. "This is eternal life," Jesus said, "that they know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom you have sent." This is what makes the gospel-and this book-good news.

It is intended to be, not so much a systematic treatise of theology, as the companion, in his hours of devotional, meditative retirement, of the experienced and spiritual Christian. The truths which it contains, and the style in which they are presented, are perhaps more adapted to those peculiar seasons in the Christian experience of the believer, in which profound discussion and labored thought would not only be distasteful, but out of place. Bearing with him the volume in his sequestered walks with God, or making it the sharer of his temporary seclusion from the active engagements of life, the "precious things of God" which it unfolds may serve to shed the perfume and the luster of Jesus' name and work around his lone and pensive path cheering solitude, soothing grief, and dissolving doubt, depression, and gloom. Many and costly are the precious things of God not enumerated in this work; blessed are they who, from the volume of their personal and spiritual experience, can complete the catalogue, and supply the Author's lack. These pages address themselves pointedly and strongly to that essential principle of vital religionthe experimental. We really know as much of the gospel of Christ, and of the Christ of the gospel, as by the power of the Holy Spirit we have the experience of it in our souls. All other acquaintance with Divine truth must be regarded as merely intellectual, theoretical, speculative, and of little worth. But, to apprehend, in some measure, the value, the glory, and the preciousness of the Lord Jesus, and, as a consequence, to esteem Him above all good, to reflect His image, to labor in His service, and to be found preparing and waiting for the happy moment described with such exquisite beauty by Doddridge, and as he only could portray it, "That blessed interview, how sweet! To fall transported at His feet; Raised in His arms, to see His face Through the full beamings of His grace!"this, this is spiritual LIFE. And, compared with the heart-experience of this, when we take a close, realizing survey of eternity, all other subjects of study and employments of time appear but solemn trifling with our destiny. The Author regrets, that to the discussion of themes so transcendently important and precious he should have brought so much human feebleness and infirmity. His work, planned amid the happy tranquility and repose of a long and warmly-attached pastorate, and finished amid the scenes of anxiety, excitement, and toil incident to a new and more extended sphere of ministerial labor, has necessarily been exposed to much that was unfavorable to that matured thought, careful composition, and literary finish which he considers efforts of this kind should possess. His hope, however, is, that, imperfect as is his production, the Divine Spirit may yet deign to bless it to the saving of precious souls, give it acceptance with the Church of Christ, and use it for the advancement of the cause of God and truth in the world, and the glory shall be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, three Persons in the One God, world without end. Amen.
