This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 19 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, we study the developable TN, TB, and NB-Smarandache ruled surface with a pointwise 1-type Gauss map. In particular, we obtain that every developable TN-Smarandache ruled surface has constant mean curvature, and every developable TB-Smarandache ruled surface is minimal if and only if the curve is a place curve with non-zero curvature or a helix, and every developable NB-Smarandache ruled surface is always plane. We also provide some examples.

This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 14 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, some geometric properties of equiform Smarandache ruled surfaces in Minkowski space E13 using an equiform frame are investigated. Also, we give the sufficient conditions that make these surfaces are equiform developable and equiform minimal related to the equiform curvatures and when the equiform base curve contained in a plane or general helix. Finally, we provide an example, such as these surfaces.
Book Synopsis Special Smarandache Ruled Surfaces According to Flc Frame by : Suleyman Senyurt
Download or read book Special Smarandache Ruled Surfaces According to Flc Frame written by Suleyman Senyurt and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2023-01-01 with total page 18 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this study, we introduce some special ruled surfaces according to the Flc frame of a given polynomial curve. We name these ruled surfaces as Smarandache ruled surfaces and provide their characteristics such as Gauss and mean curvatures in order to specify their developability and minimality conditions. Moreover, we examine the conditions if the parametric curves of the surfaces are asymptotic, geodesic or curvature line. Such conditions are also argued in terms of the developability and minimality conditions. Finally, we give an example and picture the corresponding graphs of ruled surfaces by using Maple17.
Book Synopsis On Ruled Surfaces Defined by Smarandache Curve by : Amine Yılmaz
Download or read book On Ruled Surfaces Defined by Smarandache Curve written by Amine Yılmaz and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 9 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the surfaces theory, it is well-known that a surface is called to be a ruled surface if it is generated by a continuously moving of a straight line in the space. Since a ruled surface is obtained by a line movement, its geometry has many nice properties and such surfaces have been studied by many authors, see: [4, 5, 6] and references therein. Ruled surfaces are also important subject in many applications. In particular, such surfaces have been used in computer aided engineering design (CAD) [7].

Within this general context the first and second Noether theorems are treated in the very general setting of reducible degenerate graded Lagrangian theory.
Book Synopsis Differential Geometry Of Warped Product Manifolds And Submanifolds by : Bang-yen Chen
Download or read book Differential Geometry Of Warped Product Manifolds And Submanifolds written by Bang-yen Chen and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2017-05-29 with total page 517 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A warped product manifold is a Riemannian or pseudo-Riemannian manifold whose metric tensor can be decomposed into a Cartesian product of the y geometry and the x geometry — except that the x-part is warped, that is, it is rescaled by a scalar function of the other coordinates y. The notion of warped product manifolds plays very important roles not only in geometry but also in mathematical physics, especially in general relativity. In fact, many basic solutions of the Einstein field equations, including the Schwarzschild solution and the Robertson-Walker models, are warped product manifolds. The first part of this volume provides a self-contained and accessible introduction to the important subject of pseudo-Riemannian manifolds and submanifolds. The second part presents a detailed and up-to-date account on important results of warped product manifolds, including several important spacetimes such as Robertson-Walker's and Schwarzschild's.The famous John Nash's embedding theorem published in 1956 implies that every warped product manifold can be realized as a warped product submanifold in a suitable Euclidean space. The study of warped product submanifolds in various important ambient spaces from an extrinsic point of view was initiated by the author around the beginning of this century. The last part of this volume contains an extensive and comprehensive survey of numerous important results on the geometry of warped product submanifolds done during this century by many geometers.

Book Synopsis Quaternions, Clifford Algebras and Relativistic Physics by : Patrick R. Girard

This book was released on 2007-06-25 with total page 177 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The use of Clifford algebras in mathematical physics and engineering has grown rapidly in recent years. Whereas other developments have privileged a geometric approach, this book uses an algebraic approach that can be introduced as a tensor product of quaternion algebras and provides a unified calculus for much of physics. It proposes a pedagogical introduction to this new calculus, based on quaternions, with applications mainly in special relativity, classical electromagnetism, and general relativity.

Book Synopsis An Introduction to Contact Topology by : Hansjörg Geiges
Download or read book An Introduction to Contact Topology written by Hansjörg Geiges and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2008-03-13 with total page 8 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This text on contact topology is a comprehensive introduction to the subject, including recent striking applications in geometric and differential topology: Eliashberg's proof of Cerf's theorem via the classification of tight contact structures on the 3-sphere, and the Kronheimer-Mrowka proof of property P for knots via symplectic fillings of contact 3-manifolds. Starting with the basic differential topology of contact manifolds, all aspects of 3-dimensional contact manifolds are treated in this book. One notable feature is a detailed exposition of Eliashberg's classification of overtwisted contact structures. Later chapters also deal with higher-dimensional contact topology. Here the focus is on contact surgery, but other constructions of contact manifolds are described, such as open books or fibre connected sums. This book serves both as a self-contained introduction to the subject for advanced graduate students and as a reference for researchers.
