Il nuovo fotometro(MAD: Multi Array of Detectors) è costituito da un sistema di rivelazione bolometrica ottimizzato rispetto a quello di FotoMITO; si tratta di un array di 36 bolometri suddivisi in quattro mosaici da 3x3 elementi. L'effetto Sunyaev-Zel'dovich è l'obbiettivo principale del programma GEMINI-SZ, di cui il telescopio MITO fa parte. Lo scopo di questa tesi è quello di progettare, realizzare un sistema automatico, dotato di controllo, per l'apparato criogenico dell'esperimento MAD.
