Los contenidos, que se orientan a favorecer el aprendizaje de los profesionales, se presentan de forma práctica para que sean accesibles y suficientemente aclaratorios por sí mismos. Al final de la unidad didáctica, apoyando el proceso de aprendizaje, se pueden realizar unos ejercicios de autoevaluación, coherentes con los objetivos iniciales marcados, cuyas soluciones se presentan al final del libro. Por último, y con la intención de incrementar la vertiente pedagógica y facilitar el estudio de los contenidos, se utilizan elementos visuales de refuerzo, como ladillos, recuerdes, esquemas e ilustraciones.
