This book was released on 2006-04-11 with total page 556 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jean-Pierre Vigier continually labeled one of les heretiques de la science, l’eternel resistant et le patriarche is yet a pillar of modern physics and mathematics, with one leg firmly planted in theory and the other in empiricism spanning a career of nearly 60 years with a publication vitae quickly approaching 400! He wrote of his mentor Louis de Broglie “Great physicists fight great battles”, which perhaps applies even more so to 1 Jean-Pierre Vigier himself . If fortune allows a visit to Paris, reported to be the city of love, and certainly one of the most beautiful and interesting cities in the world; one has been treated to a visual and cultural feast. For example a leisurely stroll from the Musee du Louvre along the Champs-Elysees to the Arc de Triomphe would instill even the least creative soul with the entelechies of a poets muse. It is perhaps open to theoretical interpretation, but if causal conditions have allowed one to be a physicist, visiting Paris, one may have taken opportunity to visit the portion of the old Latin quarter in place Jussieu where Pierre et Marie Curie Universite, reported to be ‘the best university in France’, is stationed.

Book Synopsis Aspects of Consciousness by : Ingrid Fredriksson
Download or read book Aspects of Consciousness written by Ingrid Fredriksson and published by McFarland. This book was released on 2012-08-02 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Throughout the ages, the mysteries of what happens when we die and the nature of the human mind have fascinated us. In this collection of essays, leading scientists and authors contemplate consciousness, quantum mechanics, string theory, dimensions, space and time, nonlocal space, the hologram, and the effect of death on consciousness. Although many of these topics have traditionally been considered matters for philosophical and religious debate, advances in modern science and in particular the science of resuscitation have now enabled an objective, scientific approach--which bears widespread implications not only for science but for all of humanity.

Having chosen to focus upon ego (established securely by the time of Christ), much more beta brain wave development will destroy our species and others, which process has already begun. We create our own realities through beliefs, intents and desires and we were in and out of probabilities constantly. Feelings follow beliefs, not the other way around.
Book Synopsis Orbiting The Moons Of Pluto: Complex Solutions To The Einstein, Maxwell, Schrodinger And Dirac Equations by : Richard L Amoroso
Download or read book Orbiting The Moons Of Pluto: Complex Solutions To The Einstein, Maxwell, Schrodinger And Dirac Equations written by Richard L Amoroso and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2011-03-21 with total page 412 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Maxwell, Einstein, Schrödinger and Dirac equations are considered the most important equations in all of physics. This volume aims to provide new eight- and twelve-dimensional complex solutions to these equations for the first time in order to reveal their richness and continued importance for advancing fundamental Physics. If M-Theory is to keep its promise of defining the ultimate structure of matter and spacetime, it is only through the topological configurations of additional dimensionality (or degrees of freedom) that this will be possible. Stretching the exploration of complex space through all of the main equations of Physics should help tighten the noose on “the” fundamental theory. This kind of exploration of higher dimensional spacetime has for the most part been neglected by M-theorists and physicists in general and is taken to its penultimate form here.

Book Synopsis Trends in Pulsar Research by : John A. Lowry
Download or read book Trends in Pulsar Research written by John A. Lowry and published by Nova Publishers. This book was released on 2007 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Pulsars are stars, a significant part of whose observed energy output is not continuous but is emitted as distinct flashes or pulses of electromagnetic radiation. Many pulsars also emit some radiation weakly and constantly, forming a background for the more intensive pulses. Three distinct classes of pulsars are presently known to astronomers, according to the source of energy that powers the radiation: Rotation-powered pulsars, where the loss of rotational energy of the star powers the radiation X-ray pulsars, where the gravitational potential energy of accreted matter is the energy source, and Magnetars, where the decay of an extremely strong magnetic field powers the radiation. Although all three classes of objects are neutron stars, their observable behaviour and the underlying physics are quite different. There are, however, connections. For example, X-ray pulsars are probably old rotation-powered pulsars that have already lost most of their energy, and have only become visible again after their binary companions expanded and began transferring matter on to the neutron star. The process of accretion can in turn transfer enough angular momentum to the neutron star to "recycle" it as a rotation-powered millisecond pulsar.
