Diese Publikation bechreibt die Ergebnisse dieser Befragung und dokumentiert das zum Teil recht gute Wissen der Lehrkräfte zu diesem Themnbereich. Mitverantwortlich für das Abschneiden der Lehrkräfte ist die Tatsache, dass die Lehrerausbildung der regional verankerten Pädagogischen Hochschule seit 20 Jahren die angehenden Lehrkräfte für diese Problematik sensibilisiert. Das weiterhin viel zu tun bleibt, lässt sich anhand der dokumentierten Erfahrungen im Bereich der Durchführung präventiven Unterrichts aufzeigen. Mit den Vorwürfen gegen Vertreter der katholischen Kirche und gegen Lehrkräfte an bundesweit bekannten Internatsschulen erhielt die Diskussion um die Möglichkeiten, Kinder vor sexuellem Missbrauch besser zu schützen, neuen Aufschwung. Immer wieder wird die Verbesserung der präventiven Arbeit gefordert. Man ist sich seit langem einig darin, die Eltern besser zu informieren. Aber solche Forderungen richten sich zunehmend auch an die Schulen, denn der Missbrauchsbeauftragte der Bundesregierung Rörig „will die Schulen für den Kampf gegen Misshandlungen rüsten“. Allen scheint klar zu sein, dass eben – trotz möglicher Gefährdungen – die Lehrkräfte nach den Eltern diejenigen sind, die den längsten und intensivsten Umgang mit Kindern haben. Insofern kann man diese Forderungen nur nachdrücklich unterstützen! Aber wie sieht es mit den Möglichkeiten der Lehrkräfte im Schulalltag tatsächlich aus? Sind Lehrkräfte über das Thema „sexueller Missbrauch an Kindern“ wirklich informiert? Wissen sie, an wen sie sich wenden können, wenn ein Verdacht keimt? Wie reagiert die Administration in Bezug auf Ausbildung und Fortbildung von Lehrkräften in diesem Bereich?

Um sich diesem Thema wissenschaftlich anzunähern, zielt dieser entsprechend entwickelte Fragebogen „Wissen über sexuellen Missbrauch“ vor allem darauf ab, den Wissensstand von Lehrkräften zu diesem Thema zu repräsentieren, sowie deren persönliche Meinungen und Einschätzungen dazu, aufzuzeigen. Gleichzeitig sollen Handlungsmöglichkeiten und eine Sensibilisierung zu dieser Thematik vermittelt werden. Zu den dazu befragten Teilnehmern gehören insgesamt fünf Lehrkräfte im Alter von 28 bis 52 Jahren. Dabei handelt es sich um vier Frauen und einen Mann. Eine Lehrkraft unterrichtet ausschließlich an einer Grundschule, eine weitere Lehrkraft ausschließlich an einer Haupt-/ Werkrealschule und drei der Teilnehmer geben an, sowohl an einer Grundschule, als auch an einer Haupt- /Werkrealschule zu unterrichten. Was umgehend ins Auge sticht, ist, dass keiner der Befragten oder deren Eltern mit Sitten und Gebräuchen aus einer anderen Kultur aufgewachsen ist. Lediglich eine Lehrkraft erwähnt, mit türkischen Sitten und Gebräuchen aufgewachsen zu sein. Zudem geben alle Teilnehmer an, im privaten Bereich in enger familiären Beziehung mit Kindern zusammen zu leben, wobei eine Teilnehmerin zusätzlich erwähnt, dass sich deren Kinder bereits im Erwachsenenalter befinden und sie dementsprechend inzwischen nicht mehr in enger familiärer Beziehung mit diesen zusammenleben würde. Bezüglich direkter Fragen zu sexuellem Missbrauch fällt auf, dass die befragten Lehrkräfte eher selten bis nicht sehr häufig von einem Fall gehört haben, bei dem Schülerinnen und Schüler von sexuellem Missbrauch betroffen waren. Eine Lehrkraft äußert jedoch, häufig in den Medien davon gehört zu haben. Zudem geben alle Teilnehmer an, von keinem Fall von sexuellem Missbrauch zu wissen, der an einer Ihnen bekannten Schule durch eine Lehrkraft begangen wurde. Nach Angaben der teilnehmenden Lehrer liegt deren Schätzung nach der Anteil an weiblichen Missbrauchsopfern deutlich höher, als jener der männlichen Opfer. Genauer gesagt, handelt es sich nach deren Einschätzungen bei 60 bis 70 % der Fälle von sexuellem Missbrauch an Kindern um Mädchen und in der Folgerung bei 30 bis 40 % der Fälle um Jungen.
