God spoke through the prophets about historical events which took place before Christ came to earth, during Christ’s time on earth and well past 70 Ad when the temple fell. God revealed through the prophets, many of the events which happened to the Jewish people during WWII. If you know history, you can see the fulfillment of these prophecies in part or whole. This book combines both. It compels us to widen our minds to the scope of what God wants us to see and understand. In order, to know more of His plans for Christ’s coming and to be ready to share His word.

This book is a wake-up call for Christians and American patriots who can no longer afford to shrug and hope for the best. The strong foundation of Judeo-Christian values that built our great country has crumbled to the ground in the face of humanism and liberal progressivism. America's demise parallels the demise of mankind as a whole. How have we reached this state of crisis? We explore the death grip that humanism has on America, and the ultimate fate of all the world's citizens. We examine both the source of sin and the path toward holiness, including death to the old self and resurrection of the new. It is essential to heed the warnings found in God's Word""warnings which become increasingly relevant as the Great Tribulation draws near. With a detailed evaluation of the Scriptures, we identify the timeline of the Tribulation, Rapture, return of Jesus Christ, and the thousand-year Millennium. Realizing that the Rapture will not take place prior to the Tribulation, we must accept the Tribulation when it begins and recognize its ramifications""or risk being deceived by Satan and the Antichrist. As the Tribulation defines our end, so does it offer an opportunity for a new beginning, if we can achieve perfection through our Lord. While cataclysmic occurrences may be imminent, devoted Christians can also expect wondrous rewards, both here and now, and for all eternity.

Nations are at odds with populism and globalism. Political leaders and dictators vie for power and influence. Looking back, you wonder “how did we get here?” Yet, these events are only signposts to the real future of mankind…the prophetic end of days. Globalism and Israel remain the two important factors to understanding key biblical prophecies. Signals abound that this generation is on the edge of experiencing a transition into the Tribulation. There may be no more dramatic proof that this sudden change is about to happen than what has resulted from the election of Donald J. Trump as president of the United States. In addition to being staunchly anti-globalism, Trump is stridently pro-Israel; moving the American Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem is proof. Now discover: Why Israel is such an important target for Satan How America is part of the biblical prophecies Which country is Babylon the Great – and why it will be destroyed Follow prophecy expert Terry James as he shares a collection of pivotal essays from 2015 to 2017 that reveal and highlight the prophetic clues that have brought us to this point in the countdown to a coming judgment. It all comes down to a single question — are you prepared for what is to come?

Book excerpt: Biblical Studies on the Prophecies of the Rapture and Revelation - is an introduction to and exploration of the Bibles teachings on the Second Advent of Jesus Christ. It distinguishes the Rapture from the Revelation. It affirms the Premillennial / Pre-tribulation Rapture / and Dispensational views. Explored are various theological positions of the Return of Christ, Biblical history, Church history, and insights from key Scripture passages. Russell writes for inquiring laity, clergy and seminarians. This work provides edification, inspiration, a wealth of Biblical knowledge; working together strands of history, theology, Biblical studies, statistics and even humor. The book addresses the Unconditional Covenant God made with Israel; kindly refutes Replacement theology / the Amil and Postmil views; defines Daniels 70th Week; considers the future Tribulation, Millennium; reminds of Gods Sovereignty and Providence, warns of sensationalism, date setting; presents signs of the times, and touches on Apostasy. The book is a comprehensive eschatological work with significant amounts of doctrine, Biblical history, the history of Christianity, and interrelated eschatological considerations. It also admonishes practical Christian living and encourages seeking paths of holy living. If you desire to understand the distinctions between the Rapture and the Revelation, seek a challenging and rewarding journey of study, and if you would find your faith strengthened and your understanding increased, this book will be a helpful guide to your exploration.

Book excerpt: Life can be seen as a series of existential encounters always needing interpretation, whether it is with ideas or events, even those that are purely imaginary. Sometimes the interpretation is obvious and universal (such as when the young lady gives a firm NO to your invitation to dinner!). But others can be intensely personal and tragic thus almost impossible to share. Always though, there is a passion to understand, to come to terms with that great paradox life. In The Boundaries Dissolve, Jim Owen, now in his late seventies, seeks to interpret, in both his essays and poems, some of life's encounters he has experienced over the last decade from the perspective of an evangelical Christian. Quite often he moves from the very personal to a universal application or understanding. The essays are more theological in content, working with an idea that has troubled his thoughts, seeking to understand the providence of God that not only satisfies him intellectually, but also stimulates the mind of his readers. His poetry, as might be expected, is more personal and existential responding to the moment of encounter, trying to capture the impressions that will interpret the events before they fade. His poems cover a broad spectrum from the whimsical to the somber, from the purely imaginary to the tragedies of real life, but behind all of them he is a Christian trying to interpret a world desperately in need of the gospel yet oblivious to it. Whatever the reader's position, or taste in poetry, these poems will hopefully ignite one's mind and emotions, and beckon one to see life's many facets from a unique perspective.

Book excerpt: This book is about Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and how the Arabs and Europeans took these Afrikan Religious Belief Systems from ancient Egypt, North Afrika and used them during The Trans-Sahara Afrikan Slave Trade by the Arabs in the name of Allah, and followed by The Transatlantic Afrikan Slave Trade by the Europeans in the name of Jesus, to enslave the bodies, minds, and souls of the Afrikan Race. This book is about the "Jesus' Deception" that has been passed on down through history by European historians, that is still being taught around the world today. This book takes a provocative intellectual, scholastic, historical, cultural, and sociological look at the Bible. This book identifies the names of the translators of the King James Bible of 1611 A. D., and when the chapters and verses in the Bible were created and who created them. The purpose of this book is to expose the historical, cultural, sociological, religious and theological lies of the Europeans and the Arabs. This book reveals the truth of the origination of The Bible, as "There Is No Religion Higher Than The Truth". Join me in an intellectual odyssey through time. Here, I feel like a Lone Warrior standing before a mighty army. Come with me on this perilous pilgrimage as we travel through a parallel universe. I dedicate this book to my mother and father who gave me life. To the rest of my Native Afrikan family for supporting me and encouraging me on this publishing venture. To the Heavenly Father, without whom none of this would be possible. There are others I would also like to thank for being a part of helping me through this journey called Life, such as my professors at the Alabama State University where many a great scholars paths I have crossed. To my American family and friends in Mobile, Alabama who nurtured and taught me from childhood to adulthood. The many friends and colleagues I met in my travels all across America in my intellectual journey, and last but certainly not least, to my publisher for granting me the opportunity to speak to many all around the world in this forum. I am eternally indebted to you all-Thank you.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus is coming soon, for all signs point to His arrival...again. The Last Days are upon us...again. The Great Tribulation is about to start...again. We will see the Lord coming in clouds of glory, for we are the last generation...again. Even before William Miller pronounced these kinds of tidings for 1843, and when it didn’t occur, he assured his followers it would happen on October 22, 1844; this refrain was common from Christians down throughout the ages. However, since the time of Miller, and especially since 1948, when the nation of Israel was given birth, the chorus of Christian voices proclaiming End-Times and Last-Days is a constant message. The problem, all those who have preached this since 70AD, have been wrong, always, 100% of the time. In the Revelation of Jesus, given to Saint John, he assures the seven Churches the time was near, it was in fact, at hand. The letter closes with the assurance of that fact, the Lord was coming soon, for Jesus states: “Surely I come quickly” (Revelation 22:20). So, that leaves us with two perplexing and bewildering conclusions. Jesus was wrong about His soon coming, and those who preach this, have also been preaching a tall tale, a cock-and-bull story. However, the early Christians did not believe what is being taught across today's pulpits concerning this teaching. They knew those events would happen in their lifetime, not 2,000 years in the future, they took Jesus at His word, and it saved their lives. In this book, you will find the doctrine believed by early Christians, and the reason the modern Last Days doctrine has always been wrong, and how it was fulfilled. You will also find the message taught by Jesus, and presented throughout the Holy Scriptures, hope and victory for Christ’s Church.

This book was released on 2023-03-07 with total page 889 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Latin American novel burst onto the international literary scene with the Boom era--led by Julio Cortázar, Gabriel García Márquez, Carlos Fuentes, and Mario Vargas Llosa--and has influenced writers throughout the world ever since. García Márquez and Vargas Llosa each received the Nobel Prize in literature, and many of the best-known contemporary novelists are inspired by the region's fiction. Indeed, magical realism, the style associated with García Márquez, has left a profound imprint on African American, African, Asian, Anglophone Caribbean, and Latinx writers. Furthermore, post-Boom literature continues to garner interest, from the novels of Roberto Bolaño to the works of César Aira and Chico Buarque, to those of younger novelists such as Juan Gabriel Vásquez, Alejandro Zambra, and Valeria Luiselli. Yet, for many readers, the Latin American novel is often read in a piecemeal manner delinked from the traditions, authors, and social contexts that help explain its evolution. The Oxford Handbook of the Latin American Novel draws literary, historical, and social connections so that readers will come away understanding this literature as a rich and compelling canon. In forty-five chapters by leading and innovative scholars, the Handbook provides a comprehensive introduction, helping readers to see the region's intrinsic heterogeneity--for only with a broader view can one fully appreciate García Márquez or Bolaño. This volume charts the literary tradition of the Latin American novel from its beginnings during colonial times, its development during the nineteenth and the first half of the twentieth century, and its flourishing from the 1960s onward. Furthermore, the Handbook explores the regions, representations of identity, narrative trends, and authors that make this literature so diverse and fascinating, reflecting on the Latin American novel's position in world literature.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: When Christians collude in crimes against humanity, they betray their citizenship in the kingdom of God, demonstrating that Christ’s Lordship does not rule over every area of their lives. The popular ideology known as Christian Zionism is a prime enabler of such widespread discipleship—failure in western Christianity. As the state of Israel continues to violate international law with colonial settlement in lands captured by warfare, legalized racial discrimination, and the creation of what many have called “the world’s largest open-air prison” in Gaza, Christian Zionists continue their unqualified support for Zionist Israel. Though Israel advertises itself as “the only democracy in the Middle East,” it is actually a rigid ethnocracy—its entire society built on the foundations of Jewish supremacy over a Palestinian underclass. History will eventually judge Christian Zionist support for Israel’s crimes against the Palestinians in the same way people of conscience now condemn the Christian church in the American South for its defense of slavery and hostility towards the civil rights movement. Just as the Southern Baptist church finally repudiated its pro-slavery past, so everyone genuinely devoted to Jesus Christ must repudiate both the ideology and the legacy of Christian Zionism.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: History textbooks typically list 1945–1990 as the Cold War years, but it is clear that tensions from that period are still influencing world politics today. While much attention is given to political and social responses to those first nuclear threats, none has been given to the reactions of Christian churches. North American Churches and the Cold War offers the first systematic reflection on the diverse responses of Canadian and American churches to potential nuclear disaster. A mix of scholars and church leaders, the contributors analyze the anxieties, dilemmas, and hopes that Christian churches felt as World War II gave way to the nuclear age. As they faced either nuclear annihilation or peaceful reconciliation, Christians were forced to take stands on such issues as war, communism, and their relationship to Christians in Eastern Europe. As we continue to navigate the nuclear era, this book provides insight into Chris-tian responses to future adversities and conflicts.
