Ce modele a ete valide sur plusieurs cas d'instabilites hydrodynamiques classiques susceptibles d'etre presentes dans des ecoulements internes. Le premier cas est l'instabilite de couche de melange. La validation du modele repose sur la comparaison des resultats obtenus avec les resultats experimentaux de winant et browand. Une analyse spatiale et temporelle des grandes structures de l'ecoulement a permis de verifier la loi de stabilite de moore et saffman. Le second cas est l'instabilite de sillage. La validation repose sur la comparaison de nos resultats avec les resultats experimentaux de sato et kuriki. Suivant le maillage et le profil d'entree, les caracteristiques du sillage proche ou lointain ont pu etre observees. On a verifie qu'une perturbation d'entree est correctement prise en compte. Le troisieme cas est l'instabilite de dean, instabilite presente une conduite, de section rectangulaire, coudee a 180\. On a observe, au dela d'un reynolds critique, le declenchement de l'instabilite de dean : sur l'ecoulement secondaire deux structures a petites echelles viennent s'additionner aux structures initiales. Cette validation tridimensionnelle sur les ecoulements dans les conduites coudees de sections rectangulaires, a ete realisee a partir des resultats experimentaux de humphrey, taylor et whitelaw (conduite a 90\) ainsi que de hille, vehrenkamp et schulz-dubois (conduite a 180\). La simulation d'un ecoulement interne a un canal inter-aube defini par une geometrie helicoidale a permis de tester le modele sur une geometrie reelle.
