I am If I was inanimate Then I would be God's sanctuary Sanctified by the Blood of the Lamb I would be a vessel unto honour Fit for the master's use I would be a garment, sparkling white Flowing softly in the wind I would be a beam of bright light Soft on the eyes, but still piercing the darkness I would be sounds of joy, praises and worship Sweet music to God's ears If I was an animal I would be an eagle, friend of the sun Soaring highest, perplexing minds I would be a dove, white and pure The Holy Spirit's best bird I would be a lion, strong and stately Defying fear, turning away from no one I would be an ant, prudent and disciplined Teaching men to be wise I would be a lamb, gentle and meek But I am a spirit, born of the Spirit

In it, Noble sets out to explain, through poetry, how God made the sun, the great light to rule the day and how He made a lesser light to rule the night. It applies in our daily living when its day in our lives the sun shines so bright. In the darkest hour of night, God yet provides us with a lesser light. When Israel wondered in the wilderness, God went before them in a pillar of a cloud by day and a pillar of fire by night. When in need of healing, deliverance, protection, guidance and strength, know it is always available! About the Author Noble Jones, a native of Pine Bluff, AR and an aspiring poet, who listens, writes and meditates on scriptures according to the Word of God. You always reassure me When I come to you in prayer, That your grace is sufficient Through the trials in life I bear. But first, I want to thank you For your goodness, love and grace, Knowing that through you, my Lord Im protected in all I face. In this quiet moment As I open my soul to thee, I feel your love and inner peace That youll do whats best for me. Fear not, I am with you; be not dismayed; I am your God. I will strengthen you, and help you, and uphold you with my right hand of justice. Isaiah 41: 10 Sights Of Nature The beauty of the country The echo through the hills, The different sounds of nature Wild flowers blooming in the fields. Running, catching butterflies Wading bare foot in a stream, The sun is shining through the trees Casting shadows from its beam. How beautiful the country How marvelous is our God, The magnificence of your creation For this we thank you God! I will meditate on the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works. Book excerpt: My poems are meant to inspire, uplift, and to allow the reader to view life from different perspectives by delving into the mind of the writer, ultimately knowing that if we turn to God and give him the glory and honor, our lives will reflect it. The decisions we make for our lives often reflect the relationship that we have with God. Although we sometimes go through things that we can’t control or due to no fault of our own accord, no matter what phase our lives are in or what we are going through in our lives, God’s love for us will remain steadfast and his love for you will be enough to sustain you to bring you out.

Book excerpt: God’s inspiration and love is more than a book comprised of love poems and spiritual poems; it is also the journey and God’s conversion of a man who was like any other man, and God changed my life. Although there is material for women and men included in this book, I feel that the book will be a blessing to whoever reads it. Every poem is titled with a name that I felt suited each individual poem, which were inspired from the Lord. I feel that most people can relate to the material and may have some things in common. This book should encourage the everyday believer in God and my hope is to convert others. God will do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or think, so I pray that this book will increase your faith, wisdom, and understanding as you continue through your life’s journey.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Mark Trager’s early life was made up of seemingly opposing ideologies and beliefs. Born in an observant Messianic Jewish home near Atlanta, raised by a Jewish father from Queens and a Christian mother from the Dominican Republic, Shine, the first book of his anthology series Seasons, presents poetry that give a glimpse into the mind and heart of a boy struggling with spiritual, relational, and emotional growing pains. Written during a tumultuous period from 2005 to 2008, the poems show the highs and lows of life but also where Mark was refocused and regrounded during those times. He struggled with major life changes including a crumbling home and social life that led to a pivotal identity crisis. Mark was at a crossroads and he cried out and a Light made Its presence fully known in his life. The poems in Shine were his first steps not only in writing but also into worship and prayer to the Jewish Messiah he had heard about throughout his youth but never fully understood or cared to see—Jesus, also called Yeshua. Despite what was going on around him or inside of himself, despite fears, doubts, and even rage towards God and everything, despite chaos and confusion, Mark opens his heart to His Lord and pours out the contents. Sometimes it’s a humble question, sometimes it’s an angry one. Sometimes it’s a prayer of praise. Sometimes it’s a sob. Mark’s goal for this book is to show that even through the most dangerous of storms and the darkest of days, even through our own blindness and sins and our own inability, even through sadness and pain, we must find our Savior, we must study His Word, pray, and praise, we must hold fast to our faith, we all must through it all, shine.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Like most people in the world, 2020 finds me in the midst of a worldwide pandemic. Inspired by the Word of God and how God has something to say about every situation, I began to write seventy-five poems. It was February when the Holy Spirit prompted me to write God's Word in poetry, and needless to say, 2020 did not find me with nothing to do while in the house, wanting to follow the rules. I have been saved, born again, for thirty-two years. I am a native-born Philadelphian and attend the Bethany Missionary Baptist Church. I love serving the Lord and serving people (i.e. Helping Hand Rescue Mission, women in prison, ushering, and more). My life verse is Matthew 5:16: "Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven." While reading the first five verses in Joel 1, Wanda began to write. Nothing like This Has Ever Happened Before God gave a message to the prophet to say "listen," everyone See what's happening all around while you are still having fun It came upon the land quickly with a mighty and destructive force Tell your children, everyone, everywhere has been thrown off course Not in our time or your parent's time have we ever seen this before We ask when will it end, how long can it go on each day more and more Everyone, wake up including those who partied too hard and went to sleep Cry out and mourn, like it or not, you're on the wagon, now it is time to weep The virus will attack you no matter who you are, red, brown, black, or white Take heed and realize the seriousness of the situation, we can't win this fight All are closed, restaurants, gyms, malls, nail salons, barber shops, no relief And with virtual doctor's appointments, we pray nothing happens to our teeth We must seek to sense God's purpose for what is happening in the world today Only the Holy Spirit can help us to know what we should do before it all slips away
