Daher werden in dieser Arbeit zunächst mithilfe einer Literaturrecherche theoretische Ansätze und Konzepte behandelt. Um die zentrale Fragestellung dieser Arbeit beantworten zu können, werden in weiterer Folge zehn problemzentrierte Interviews mit unterschiedlichen Führungskräften durchgeführt, welche anschließend nach der qualitativen Inhaltsanalyse nach Mayring ausgewertet werden. Es zeigt sich, dass viele verschiedene Selbstmanagement-Faktoren zu einer erfolgreichen Work-Life-Balance von Führungskräften beitragen. Die Persönlichkeit des Einzelnen, die eigene Lebenssituation sowie die individuellen Ziele, Prioritäten und Fähigkeiten nehmen dabei die größte Rolle ein.
