It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to do any act or thing prohibited by any of the provisions of this ordinance or to omit to do any act or thing required of any such person, firm or corporation by any of the provisions of this ordinance. Sec. 5. Whoever violates any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof shall be fined not less than five dollars ($5.00) nor more than two hundred dollars ($200.00) or imprisoned for not more than sixty (60) days, or both, and shall stand committed until such fine be paid or sentence served, or until otherwise discharged by due process of law. Each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense. Title I - Definitions Sec.6. For the purpose of this ordinance certain words and phrases are defined as follows: Basement. A "basement" is a story not less than two (2) feet underground and not less than eight (8) feet, six (6) inches high in the clear, but having at least one-half (1/2) of its height above the highest level of the adjoining ground. Bottled Beverage. The term "bottled beverage" shall be construed to mean any non-alcoholic drink, and any mineral waters whether natural or artificial.
