The book gives techniques to prolong life and gives nourishing recipes to combat the process of ageing. 20 Years of Yogi Ashwini’s research have gone into this book. Certain rare rasayans for rejuvenating the body and maintaining its’ youth are also given. Techniques and kriyas for promoting longevity and youthfulness from texts like, Shiv Samhita, Gherand Samhita, Charak Samhita, Hatha Yoga Pradipika are given. Yogi Ashwini also consulted other ancient, some near extinct texts in putting this book together. The book explains in detail the complex process of ageing in all the layers of the body and provides remedies and solutions to combat this. Yogi Ashwini firmly believes that, if the rishis of yesteryears could live on for so long and maintain their youth and glow till the end, and then, leave the body in full consciousness and awareness knowing very well where they were going, then, modern man can also do the same! It gives step-by-step instructions to practice the various techniques to achieve this. This book gives a list of various harmful chemicals and radiations present in modern day products, along with studies of western universities corroborating this fact. It also provides rare and authentic substitutes for these products, and formulae for preparing these substitutes at home. A list of places is suggested from where you can procure these products in case you do not wish to prepare them at home. The book is considered a thesis on anti-ageing by doctors and journalist who have read the manuscript. Written in simple language, this book is a must for every modern day person who wants to preserve ones’ youth till the very end.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Building a Noble World is a gold standard in spirituality and politics. It offers practical solutions to the present-day world crisis. In these times when national, racial, religious, and personal prejudices are causing unrest and conflicts everywhere, Building a Noble World offers guidance toward safety, harmony, and prosperity in the world. In the book, the author, Shiv R. Jhawar, observes: ?Changes are effected not by changing others, but by changing oneself. Individuals make a family, families make a society, societies make a nation, and nations make a world. Thus, individuals are the world. When individuals change, the world changes. There is no other way.?The book is the result of years of study and research into spirituality. It promotes peace among people of all religions. Emphasizing spirituality as a unifying factor, the author states: "If spirituality were practiced sincerely, one would rise above all religious barriers, expanding the Self to embrace all humanity, even all creation. Religiosity divides, spirituality unites." Building a Noble World is not just a book about spirituality. It is about practical life. It includes topics such as how to stop terrorism, the reformation of the United Nations, the unification of the Indian subcontinent, a solution to the Kashmir issue, Tibet?s spiritual link with India, the author?s own experience of shaktipat, and the science of yoga. Recognizing the United Nations as the only route to world peace, the author concludes: "It is vital that all member nations strive toward making the UN more powerful than ever before." Writing the Introduction to the book, J. V. Lakshmana Rao, Managing Editor of the India Tribune, Chicago, states: ?This thought-provoking book, interspersed with highly knowledgeable quotes from the writings of distinguished spiritual masters, will stimulate the intellect of those who read it. I am confident all will benefit from it. It is hoped that it will help promote peace and brotherhood among all human beings. It is my conviction that this book releases tremendous force that may ultimately help build a nobler world.? By profession, the author is a Chartered Accountant. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a Master?s degree in accounting. Enrolled to practice before the Internal Revenue Service, he has been practicing tax accounting in Chicago for over 20 years.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In a world plagued with intolerance for cultural, racial and religious differences, A Message of Peace serves as a panacea to the ills of the society. Prophetic in foresight and universal in scope, this book lays out a path to the peaceful existence of all humans based on the central theme of worshipping the One God. It is not surprising therefore that A Message of Peace forms the last work of a man who was destined to lay the foundation for the establishment of peace in this day and age and whose advent was prophesied in all major religions of the world-the Promised Messiah and Reformer of the Latter Days. "My countrymen!" writes the Promised Messiah, "A religion which does not inculcate universal compassion is no religion at all. Similarly a human being without the faculty of compassion is no human at all."

Book excerpt: The Spandakarikas are a number of verses that serve as a sort of commentary on the Siva-sutras. According to Saivagama, the divine consciousness is not simply cold, inert intellection. It is rather spanda, active, dynamic, throbbing with life, creative pulsation. In Siva-sutras, it is the prakasa aspect of the divine that is emphasized; in Spandakarikas, it is the vimarsa aspect that is emphasized. Together, these two books give us an integral view of Saiva philosophy. Ksemaraja has written a commentary on Spandakarikas, titled Spanda-nirnaya. He is fond of sesquipedalian compounds, long and windy sentences, but he is very profound in the comprehension of the subject and so cannot be ignored. The author tried to provide a readable translation of both the karikas and the Spanda-nirnaya commentary. Each karika (verse) is given both in Devanagari and Roman script, followed by its translation in English. This is followed by Ksemaraja's commentary in Sanskrit. Then follows an English translation of the commentary. After this, copious notes are added on important and technical words. Finally, a running exposition of each karika in the author's own words is given.

Book excerpt: Every year, a group of Isha meditators sets out on a tour of the Himalayas. Accompanying them on this journey is Sadhguru – a spiritual master considered by many to be one of the foremost living yogis on the planet. This is a book for those who stayed behind. It is a chance to make a pilgrimage on the page, travelling through the unpredictable but fascinating terrain of the master’s words. Amalgamating discourses and conversations from several yatras, it is a blend of the specific and the timeless. This book is not just about the Himalayas. And yet, the book would never have happened without the Himalayas. The mountains play a vital role in the text, alternately as context and catalyst, mood and metaphor. Without them, some of the questions in this book would never have been asked. Even if they sometimes seem tangential to the line of enquiry, they remain a powerful subterranean presence, eventually becoming the very bedrock of this book.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A Search in Secret India is the story of Paul Brunton's journey around India, living among yogis, mystics and gurus, some of whom he found convincing, others not. He finally finds the peace and tranquility which come with self-knowledge when he meets and studies with the great sage Sri Ramana Maharishi. Paul Brunton was a British philosopher, mystic, traveler, and guru. He left a journalistic career to live among yogis, mystics, and holy men, and studied Eastern and Western esoteric teachings. Dedicating his life to an inward and spiritual quest, Brunton felt charged to communicate his experiences about what he learned in the East to others. His works had a major influence on the spread of Eastern mysticism to the West. Taking pains to express his thoughts in layperson's terms, Brunton was able to present what he learned from the Orient and from ancient tradition as a living wisdom. His writings express his view that meditation and the inward quest are not exclusively for monks and hermits, but will also support those living normal, active lives in the Western world.
