Book Synopsis Their First Time by : Earl Ray Jones
Download or read book Their First Time written by Earl Ray Jones and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2000-11-16 with total page 301 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Their First Time: Teenage Romance tells of a young man's hopes, loves, disappointments, and life experiences beginning at the age of 16 when he runs away from home. The story covers his high school years through his returning home from Korea at the age of 20. The novel begins with the run-away from home by a very shy 16-year-old boy after his completion of the 11th grade of high school. He is a very bright and athletic young man. Even though he is shy, he makes many good friends, especially his first love. His last year of high school is filled with excitement and successes in sports, which lead up to his first date. His life is torn apart when, due to the trickery of a mean aunt, his life is changed forever. He is on his own again and desperately tries to return to the girl he dearly loves. Situations and circumstances cause him to enlist in the United States Air Force. His basic training in the Air Force is described from beginning to end. After basic training, he is assigned to the intelligence service posing as a civilian at a large Ivy League university. Here, he has a devastating experience, which causes the loss of his virginity. After loss of his virginity, he develops a "no holds barred" attitude caused by many disappointments. The novel describes his stint in Korea and ends with his return home the States after turning the age of 20. While there is no vulgarity (only hinted) do not read this book if you are squeamish when reading about romantic sex acts. The title of the novel gives you a hint. -The author

See how it all began for Jake Crowley and Rose Black in this prequel novella, SANCTUM! Praise for David Wood and Alan Baxter “Blood Codex is a genuine up all night got to see what happens next thriller that grabs you from the first page and doesn't let go until the last.” Steven Savile “Rip roaring action from start to finish. Wit and humor throughout. Just one question - how soon until the next one? Because I can't wait.” Graham Brown “A page-turning yarn. Indiana Jones better watch his back!”Jeremy Robinson “A a story that thrills and makes one think beyond the boundaries of mere fiction and enter the world of 'why not'?” David Lynn Golemon, “A twisty tale of adventure and intrigue that never lets up and never lets go!” Robert Masello “A fast-paced storyline that holds the reader right from the start,. and a no-nonsense story-telling approach that lets the unfolding action speak for itself.” Van Ikin “With mysterious rituals, macabre rites and superb supernatural action scenes, Wood and Baxter deliver a fast-paced horror thriller.” J.F.Penn “Wood and Baxter have taken on the classic black magic/cult conspiracy subgenre, chucked in a toxic mix of weirdness, creepshow chills and action, and created a tale that reads like a latter-day Hammer Horror thriller. Nice, dark fun.” Robert Hood

Book excerpt: A Black man wrongly convicted of murder attempts to rebuild his life and bring the real killer to justice, in this historical novel based on a true story. In the summer of 1932, Ben Jordan was wrongfully accused of killing a white pastor in Georgia. After a hasty trial, he was sentenced to a life of grueling labor on a chain gang and abuse at the hands of brutal wardens. But now, with his forty-year prison sentence completed, Ben is finally returning home. As he struggles to understand the profound changes the world has undergone, some things remain painfully the same—including the hateful animosity towards Black people and the fact that the real murderer is still living the life of a genteel southerner. Working to rebuild his life and see justice served, Ben faces one confrontation after another—with friend, foe, and a daughter who thinks he is dead. In this novel based on a real Depression Era murder case, author and Georgia historian Stephen Doster presents a vividly accurate depiction of Jim Crow’s long and painful legacy.
