Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The bible is being fulfilled, and yet many churches that should inform about the end are asleep. There is no time. Many are accommodated with the new house, the car zero, a good job and the study of children. These people do not even want to think that all of this will be wiped out, shaken and Antichrist will begin to rule the planet. Many churches no longer preach the Apocalypse claiming that it scares the faithful, and this can also hurt the offerings. These churches prefer to preach positive messages that exalt man and family, but forget that when the Antichrist comes these families will be annihilated. The time to speak the truth is now, the world walks to destruction, and there is no time. Come to Christ now. Tomorrow can be too late.

While its title in Greek means to "uncover," or "disclose," the book seems to be more confounding in its content than enlightening for contemporary readers. So we might ask, "How could such an elusive and complicated text come to be called Revelation?" Considering the diversity of opinions and interpretations of the book, would it be more fitting to call it The Great Enigma? Even the author himself seems perplexed at times by what he hears and sees... "Astonished" is the term he uses in Revelation 17:7. While my intent certainly isn't to disparage the author by inferring that the book defies beneficial definition, it is to face the truth of the rather perplexing place Revelation holds in Christian literature.

The content of this book, he maintains, is either history, prophecy or theology. HISTORY Writings that fall under this heading include historical facts or findings, scientific data or information, and any other compilation made by man that has been established out of a non-Biblical perspective. This includes any factual information that cannot be substantiated by scripture. This category also includes every scripture quoted verbatim, chapter and verse, from the Bible. This also includes text where the author has theorized to make a point or when the text being read is a paraphrase of scripture.

The author concludes that scripture is essentially a collection of prophecies, not a record of past events. Jesus did not say, "Blessed is he who heeds the words of the history of this book," but rather "Blessed is he who heeds the words of the prophecy of this book." Thus, the current tenets of Christianity with regard to the origin and advent of Jesus are based on fundamental misconceptions. The book´s argument is that Christ´s visitation has not yet occurred in the world of time, since it is a future event, and that his origin will be derived from the Greeks, not the Jews, when he does appear.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Book of Revelation: A New Beginning contains the hidden secrets of Saint Johns Revelation, and as you know, it is one of the most debated and most difficult books of all the scriptures to read and understand because of the extreme symbolism tied to it. Man has always assumed the word of Gods prophets and their stories were indisputable just because of their eminence in interpreted them as being true. Man has forgotten the history of himself, Earth, God, the origin of the universe, and how the scriptures have been documented, interpreted, and strictly passed down by our ancestors and religious leaders. As symbolic as Revelation is it has nothing to do with the end days or even about a solitary Anti-Christ as we understand it nor is it about Jesus coming to save you. In truth, Saint Johns Revelation is your own guide showing you that you no longer need to look at yourself as a sinner because you have bared your cross, like Jesus, and now the time has come for you to ascend to a higher state of Mind. The book of Revelation: A New Beginning is a book that will help open the gates of your soul memories so you can become aware of your own divineness, and that you are a God too. My fellow Gods, what is coming to an end is the old ways of perceiving and understanding God. It is not that God is a mystery. It is you that is the mystery, and when fear is resolved within, you are then ready to open up to the hidden secrets behind the Book of Revelation that religions have kept as a secret for thousands of years, either on purpose or because of ignorance.

The Greek term denotes an unveiling or uncovering—thus, a revelation." "Here is the key to understanding the book. Jesus alone can unlock the meaning of its symbols, visions and descriptions...Christ reveals its meaning. He unlocks its seals. But how does He do it?" "Most of Revelation—about two thirds of its content—is devoted to the seventh seal. The contents of the first six seals are found in chapter 6 alone." "How will the two witnesses and their message be received?" "The book of Revelation reveals, from more than one perspective, the emergence of this vast end-time empire governed from a great city God labels “Babylon the great”, the reference here being to Rome." "Jesus Christ will return to establish that Kingdom on earth (the Kingdom of God) at His second coming, at last bringing the peace mankind has always longed for but never achieved."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the Bible, Genesis is the first book, the book of beginning; and Revelation is the last book, the book of closing, like the grand finale of the Bible, although you may not picture it that way. Like most people, I thought Revelation was all about things that were hard to understand. But with the Lord's help, nothing is impossible with Him, and that is what He has done for me. If you ever put a jigsaw puzzle together, you know each piece must be put in its correct place before you have a completed picture, and Revelation is like that. As we go through Revelation, puzzle pieces will be found in its chapters, beginning with seven churches. Then more pieces are found in God's wrath, starting with the seven seals, seven trumpets, seven vials, seven worship celebrations, and seven beatitudes. And each of those sevens will form a completed picture of how the end-times are revealed in Revelation. The thousand-year Millennium is next, with Jesus Christ ruling and reigning on the earth as the King of kings. And after that, Satan and sin is finished forever, and eternity begins without end! In this study of Revelation, we will see it is an amazing book with a wonderful ending! So why study Revelation? Because in Revelation 1:3, we are told, "Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand."

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Aurelius Prudentius Clemens (348–ca. 406) is one of the great Christian Latin writers of late antiquity. Born in northeastern Spain during an era of momentous change for both the Empire and the Christian religion, he was well educated, well connected, and a successful member of the late Roman elite, a man fully engaged with the politics and culture of his times. Prudentius wrote poetry that was deeply influenced by classical writers and in the process he revived the ethical, historical, and political functions of poetry. This aspect of his work was especially valued in the Middle Ages by Christian writers who found themselves similarly drawn to the Classical tradition. Prudentius's Hamartigenia, consisting of a 63-line preface followed by 966 lines of dactylic hexameter verse, considers the origin of sin in the universe and its consequences, culminating with a vision of judgment day: the damned are condemned to torture, worms, and flames, while the saved return to a heaven filled with delights, one of which is the pleasure of watching the torments of the damned. As Martha A. Malamud shows in the interpretive essay that accompanies her lapidary translation, the first new English translation in more than forty years, Hamartigenia is critical for understanding late antique ideas about sin, justice, gender, violence, and the afterlife. Its radical exploration of and experimentation with language have inspired generations of thinkers and poets since—most notably John Milton, whose Paradise Lost owes much of its conception of language and its strikingly visual imagery to Prudentius's poem.

Book excerpt: While the world reaches an apex of chaos and cruelty, mankind can expect the riders of the Four Horsemen to begin their ride of destruction at any moment. Therefore, people must be armed with the truths of Scripture in order to withstand the onslaught of evil that will be released upon the earth. As such, Revelation: Know the End pulls back the curtain of mysteries surrounding the Book of Revelation. Some parts of Revelation, are apocalyptic literature and do not have a literal meaning. A key is to understand when the writer is using apocalyptic imagery, allegorical (symbolic, metaphorical, figurative, representative, emblematic language), or if it may be taken in a literal fashion. Literal interpretation does not mean we ignore indicators in a slavishly literal fashion when the text indicates it is a parable, allegory, or a figure of speech.Dr. CK Quarterman will unravel the mysteries of the Book of Revelation for the layman and the student of the Bible.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Did you know that ancient pagan beliefs and practices of the old Anti-Christ system bare a striking resemblance to the beliefs and practices taught by many in our modern Christian Churches today? The reason for this is easily seen by reading through the New Testament observing the teachings and practices of Jesus and the apostles in the original true Church. What they taught and practiced in the early Churches up unto about 200 years A.D. are not the same teachings as we see in today's Christian Churches. This change has come about due to the paradoxical fact of the astonishing resemblance between ancient pagan beliefs and those enunciated by Jesus! Since the practices of today's Christian Churches are not the same as the early true Church recorded in the New Testament, it is vital to know if there has been a purposeful mixing of the false practices of paganism with the true teachings of Jesus, the Apostles, and the Bible. Most Christian Churches since the time of Jesus until today, have taught beliefs and customs not commanded by All Mighty God or His only begotten Son Jesus. Although they appear to be similar to the truth they do not really lead anyone to the path of righteousness, nor does their message allow people to ascend to a higher spiritual understanding. Just look at what is going on in the world today. It's hard for many people to believe that the events described above have been evolving over many thousands of years, and the culmination of these events are entering their final stage in world history. The mysteries in Revelation 6: 1-17, are the bases of this book, and the foundation of my attempt to explain how the mystery behind each of those seals are being fulfilled. For example in Revelation 6: 6, "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, a measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." This one verse addresses the Wheat and Barley Harvest for the Sons and Daughters of God that were placed here on Earth during two significant events, with a divine mission. Shortly the Barley Harvest gathering will be completed and the Wheat Harvest will begin. Like all humans, I am made of the dust of this Earth, seeking each day for all mighty God's divine guidance, and blessings. The insights presented in this book are many of the blessings which were shared with me by my spiritual messengers over the past forty years. It all started one evening while I was sitting at my dining room table studying the Bible. My spiritual messengers projected scenes of numerous events that had occurred in the Bible. I am a visionary, and to help me understand and relate to these Bible verses, they often used my visionary abilities. The events went back to various times, even before Adam and Eve were placed on Earth. My most tearful event was that of Jesus hanging on the cross. Jesus death and resurrection ended the need for mankind to communicate with God through a High Priest of the Levitical/Aaronic Priesthood. Today we have direct communications with God, Jesus, or with God's spiritual messengers, I often call them our guides. You too can learn to communicate with them.
