Die Professionellen haben daher das Ziel, den Klient*innen die vorhandenen Potenziale als Ressource zugänglich zu machen. Ein ressourcenorientiertes Arbeiten ist eines der wichtigsten Merkmale der Sozialen Arbeit und gilt als ein nicht hinterfragter beruflicher Wertestandard, dessen Einhaltung Priorität hat. Die Ressourcenorientierung ist ein Konzept, welches eine komplexe, professionelle Perspektiveinnahme und ein methodisch strukturiertes Vorgehen benötigt.

Die Begrifflichkeit Ressource nimmt einen wichtigen Platz im Zuge der Erstellung einer sozialpädagogischen Diagnose ein, da sie unabdingbar für eine vollständige Problem- und Ressourcenanalyse, die ein Teil der Hilfeplanung darstellt, ist. Die soziale Diagnose versucht dabei Formulierungen zur Thesen- und Ideenbildung bei der Problemdarstellung hervor zu bringen und damit gleichzeitig auch die entsprechen Ressourcen, die einem Klienten oder System zur Verfügung stehen könnten. Dabei wird über Informationsgewinnung versucht, Aussagen zu verschiedenen Lebensbereichen des Klienten oder Klientensystems, wie auch bestehenden Problemen und vorhandenen Ressourcen, zu machen. Ziel bei der vorläufigen Erstellung einer sozialpädagogischen Diagnose soll es sein: „Aussagen über soziale und soweit erforderlich zu biologischen, psychischen Eigenschaften von Individuen und zur Interaktions- und Positionsstruktur von sozialen Systemen, zu Problemen und ihrer Begründung und zu klientbezogenen Ressourcen, die der Bearbeitung der genannten Probleme dienen können“ (Geiser, K. 2007, S. 15) erheben zu können. Die Auslotung vorhandener Ressourcen ist somit ein wichtiger Bestandteil des Diagnoseprozesses, der zur Feststellung des Hilfebedarfs oder Erstellung eines Hilfeplans dienlich ist. Zudem hat sich in den letzen Jahren in der Sozialen Arbeit herauskristallisiert und verfestigt, dass das „pädagogische Handeln“ von Sozialarbeitern, in Institutionen und Einrichtungen als ressourcenorientiert und nicht mehr als defizitorientiert bezeichnet wird. Deshalb soll die vorliegende Arbeit den Ressourcenbegriff definieren und vertiefen und dabei die Ausrichtung der Sozialen Arbeit auf Ressourcen näher beleuchten, um dabei die Wichtigkeit dieser, in der Fallarbeit abzubilden.

Die Reduzierung von Arbeitslosigkeit, Langzeitarbeitslosigkeit ist für die Betroffenen und darüber hinaus vor dem Hintergrund von Fachkräftemangel und demografischen Wandel sowohl für die Gesellschaft, die Bundesagentur für Arbeit als auch für den deutschen Arbeitsmarkt relevant. Ein Ansatz, der dabei unterstützen kann und in der Sozialen Arbeit inzwischen weit verbreitet ist, ist die Ressourcenorientierung. Diese richtet dabei den professionellen Blick bewusst auf die vorhandenen Stärken, Fähigkeiten und Kompetenzen und bezieht sie mit in die Arbeit ein.

Policy options focused on early childhood education and care; child poverty; investment strategies for an inclusive economy; active labour market programmes; working conditions; social cash transfers; affordable housing; and planning and regulatory mechanisms to improve air quality and mitigate climate change. Applying combinations of these policy options alongside effective governance for health equity should enable WHO European Region Member States to reduce health inequities and synergize efforts to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
