She keeps extremely busy with her children, Sarah and Michael, chauffeuring them to school and activities, volunteering in their classrooms and school, and helping them with homework. Her children tell her she is the best mom ever. Janet runs the household without her husband Brad's help, as he is a busy school executive. She meticulously irons and coordinates his clothes and keeps him on schedule. Janet is supportive to Brad in every way imaginable with his demanding career. She slips into the world of a single parent without realizing it while she sees less and less of her husband. Her world turns upside down when Brad suddenly moves out during a slumber party. Janet realizes there is so much more to the story as Brad's three-year affair with a coworker comes to light, and they both lose their jobs. Brad is not willing to take the blame for his job loss and takes it out on Janet. Brad's true colors come to light as his true narcissistic side shows. He is unhappy when Janet is ordered sole custody of the children and vows to take them from her. He and his vindictive girlfriend, Suzanne, plan and plot ways to push Janet over the edge to take away the children to punish her for their job loss. Brad and Suzanne eventually marry and continue to harass Janet in unimaginable ways. Janet is strong and weathers many attacks but cannot compete financially with her ex-husband and his wife. Remembering the Raspberries is a tale of parental alienation and how it broke up a mother's relationship with her children. How long can Janet keep the faith?

It's a name Nancy gives to a special place near the edge of her town in the back- woods of Quebec, Canada. It's here, where the wild raspberries grow, that Nancy and her friends, the strange and wonderful sisters Clare and Amy, explore and let their imaginations soar. The girls wonder about their neighbor, Sandra the troublemaker, and her older teenage sister, Tracy. Sandra's mother thinks Nancy is a bad influence. But Nancy has seen and heard strange things happening at Sandra's house. She's sure there are more secrets hidden behind their closed doors. During this summer of change, as Nancy struggles to make sense of the world around her, she learns that things are seldom what they seem. Once something is revealed, Nancy can't go back to the way she was before. .

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Music fans who grew up with Rock and Roll in Cleveland remember a golden age. We were young, so was the music, and the sense of freedom and excitement the Rock and Roll scene delivered was electric. There were so many great clubs, like the Agora, where every big band seemed to break in the 1970s. The trendsetting radio stations, from A.M.'s WIXY to F.M.'s groundbreaking "Home of the Buzzard," WMMS. And all those memorable shows. The free Coffee Break Concerts--remember Sprinsteen just when he hit it big? The gigantic World Series of Rock. Nights on the lawn at Blossom (including local favorites the Michael Stanley Band and their record-setting sellout streak). This book collects the favorite memories of Clevelanders who made the scene: fans, musicians, DJs, reporters, club owners, and more. Includes rare photographs and other memorabilia such as concert posters, bumper stickers, pins, and ticket stubs.

The only drawback to her new life as a baker is the dead electrician in her kitchen. Was the electrician the victim of a tragic on-the-job accident, or is there something much more sinister afoot? It’s up to Bitsie to find out with a little help from her sister-in-law, her recently-retired-from-the-police-force brother, and her too-handsome-to-be-real shop assistant. It’s not easy finding a murderer when your most compelling clue is a half-eaten raspberry ripple cupcake, but perhaps a pleasantly-plump cupcake connoisseur is the perfect woman for the job.
