Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Gods Universe in Four Dimensions examines several subjects, such as economics and the cause of the unemployment problem, from a point of view that is a blend of science and philosophy. Author Les Burgesss controversial stances may upset some people, but his belief is that is better to present the truth as he has interpreted than to perpetuate untruths that could lead to misery and destruction. Burgess emphatically supports the Christian faith, and he hopes to convert all potential Christians by explaining how God (and religion) works and why some people believe and others not. He further explores the various ideas and concepts below: Spherical space-time explained A globular map of the universe Distorted view of the universe Why the universe is everlasting Complete theory of Einsteins four dimensions The speed of light and curved space-time How the cosmic horizon works in four dimensions. Progression of time and motion Understanding the Holy Trinity doctrine The justification of God and the Cross The complementary state of the logic of nature and God Metaphysics and miracles Theory of interaction of culture and religion, but only one God New economic recovery and control strategy Gods Universe in Four Dimensions offers a solution to every problem. Logic is universal!

Book excerpt: The major religions of the world are a mystery to many high school teens. Now you can help them unlock the doors of these traditions with our new text, World Religions: A Voyage of Discovery. The book is an introductory survey that helps eleventh and twelfth graders understand the people, dimensions, and religious principles of the world's major religions. The textbook includes a chapter on each of eleven major world religions, including Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Judaism, and others. The text offers the Catholic perspective on interreligious dialogue, an overview of basic questions that religions address, and Ninian Smart's seven dimensions of religion. A glossary and word pronunciations in each chapter help students learn unfamiliar terms. In addition, the second edition of this text incorporates the following new features: a new chapter on modern trends in religion; new, more detailed maps; a new section on the Aztec religion of Mesoamerica; a sidebar in each chapter offering examples of the seven dimensions of religion; and review questions at the end of each chapter.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A Comparative Study of Religions has been written by a scholar who has occupied himself with the subject of religion for over fifty years. But no finality can be claimed. e reason is that religion deals with what is transcendent in the sense that it deals with what man is going to be. Advaitism terms this futuristic end as becoming Brahman, Jainism as regaining one Ís pristine glory, theists as becoming gold fit for heaven. However, Bergson and other evolutionists would say that religion is a collective and cooperative effort of men to become gods. This simply means the divinising of man what Aurobindo calls 'supermind'. They refer to a state beyond human ills, beyond human infatuation and beyond the befogging of human intellect. This is known in Jainism as sarvajnata. One thing is clear that fighting with other human beings in the name of religion is subhuman. As religious men, we are fellow travellers in the direction of the realm of spirit. Here the nomenclature of Hindus, Muslims, Christians etc., ceases to be meaningful. Of course, we have to go very far and we have not made any beginning yet. However, at present, the advaitic principle of differences Brahman can serve the purpose of harmonizing all religions. Here we have adopted this principle. Secondly, the key concepts of different religions have been shown to mingle with one another.
