Duplicate flexure specimens, shear specimens, and numbers 8 and 11 bar bond specimens were subjected to dynamic loading from a falling mass that struck each beam through an impulse-controlling cushion of vermiculite concrete. The concrete strength in the test beams varied from 6000 to 9100 psi. (Author).
