Nous sommes deux étudiantes, Sabrina Gatti et moi-même, à travailler sur ce thème. Pour ma part, je l i choisi car j i constaté que des personnes de mon entourage et les malades connaissaient très mal ma profession. Le but de cette recherche est de faire mieux connaître les rôles de l nfirmière et de donner des pistes pour valoriser la profession. Cette recherche est de nature qualitative car elle a pour but de faire ressortir le ressenti et les expériences vécues pas les patients interrogés. J i choisi la méthode d ntretiens semi-directifs pour le recueil des données car cela me permet d rienter les malades vers une réponse tout en les laissant parler de leurs expériences, ressentis & Mon travail est ciblé sur le patient atteint de maladie chronique car il est en contact sur la durée avec l nfirmière. J i ciblé mon travail sur un échantillon adulte. Je me suis rendue dans un service de médecine du Valais et dans un service de dialyse, également du Valais. Et Sabrina s st rendue vers une population de personnes âgées. Ses entretiens se sont déroulés dans un service de gériatrie et dans un CMS. Les principaux résultats de ma recherche sont que les clients connaissent très mal les rôles de l nfirmière. Souvent, pour eux, elle est sous les ordres du médecin. Ils amènent souvent la notion de soins techniques et relationnels. Ils parlent peu du rôle autonome et du rôle interdisciplinaire. Vous découvrirez également à travers ce travail les attentes du malade vis-à-vis de l nfirmière.
