The book is written in three parts: the first covering the history of the Christian Mission in China and Burma, the second World War II and the Japanese invasion, and the last is written as a memoir covering the time back home after the war. This is an amazing read that has a great deal of valuable documentation on missions in remote places and gives a true insight into the courage and determination of people carrying out God's work. This is a work of considerable scope that would be an excellent addition to libraries, schools and theological colleges.
