C'est dans ce contexte que AIXIAL R&D a décidé de mettre en place un Système de Management de la Qualité (SMQ) répondant aux exigences de cette norme. La démarche qualité de AIXIAL R&D se construit comme un projet et elle est modélisée sous la forme d'un cycle sans fin, la roue de Deming (PLAN/DO/CHECK/ACT). Aujourd'hui la démarche n'a subit qu'un premier cycle du PDCA. Le SMQ mis en place est donc jeune et doit gagner en maturité. Les prochains cycles PDCA lui permettront de gagner en efficacité et d'être plus en accord avec la réalité. La démarche qualité est un projet long et nécessite de l’investissement financier et humain. Un critère important dans la réussite d'un SMQ est l'implication et la motivation du persormel. AIXIAL R&D a pris en compte l'ensemble de ces paramètres et a mis en place les moyens nécessaires pour y faire face (e.g. approche participative). AIXIAL R&D cherche à rester dans une dynamique d'amélioration continue et poursuit cet engagement qualité, dont la prochaine étape est 1 'obtention de la certification ISO 9001.
