He has a plot of land to sell, buyers are scarce as hens’ teeth, and… well… he lives in the middle of Murder Central. Whoda thunk a drowsy Minnesota town could earn that title? Tom certainly didn’t. In fact, he’d probably ditch his dead end position at Crossroad’s Realty if it weren’t for the ever gorgeous Sara Smith. If he had a ghost of a chance with that woman, she’d be worth every drop of crazy mayhem erupting all across Crossroads. So, he endures. But, with murders, disappearances, explosions… how can a guy hope to break through the clutter and impress a goddess like Sara? Will he get the girl? Will he ever sell that infernal plot of land? How can Tom and Sara avoid getting sucked into Crossroads’ vortex of crazy? All these questions (and many more) will be answered (give or take) in this tiny volume of Reclaimed Haven: Mayhem and Moola.

This book was released on 2007-05-17 with total page 1696 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For fifty years the truth about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy has been obscured. This book releases us from a crippling distortion of American history. At 1:00 p.m. on November 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was pronounced dead, the victim of a sniper attack during his motorcade through Dallas. That may be the only fact generally agreed upon in the vast literature spawned by the assassination. National polls reveal that an overwhelming majority of Americans (75%) believe that there was a high-level conspiracy behind Lee Harvey Oswald. Many even believe that Oswald was entirely innocent. In this continuously absorbing, powerful, ground-breaking book, Vincent Bugliosi shows how we have come to believe such lies about an event that changed the course of history. The brilliant prosecutor of Charles Manson and the man who forged an iron-clad case of circumstantial guilt around O. J. Simpson in his best-selling Outrage Bugliosi is perhaps the only man in America capable of writing the definitive book on the Kennedy assassination. This is an achievement that has for years seemed beyond reach. No one imagined that such a book would ever be written: a single volume that once and for all resolves, beyond any reasonable doubt, every lingering question as to what happened in Dallas and who was responsible. There have been hundreds of books about the assassination, but there has never been a book that covers the entire case, including addressing every piece of evidence and each and every conspiracy theory, and the facts, or alleged facts, on which they are based. In this monumental work, the author has raised scholarship on the assassination to a new and final level, one that far surpasses all other books on the subject. It adds resonance, depth, and closure to the admirable work of the Warren Commission. Reclaiming History is a narrative compendium of fact, forensic evidence, reexamination of key witnesses, and common sense. Every detail and nuance is accounted for, every conspiracy theory revealed as a fraud on the American public. Bugliosi's irresistible logic, command of the evidence, and ability to draw startling inferences shed fresh light on this American nightmare. At last it all makes sense. She had been elevated to royal status and given riches, property, servants, and privileges beyond her wildest imaginings. Now all of that has come tumbling down around her and she has literally lost everything, including the two most precious things in the universe: her soulsphere . . . and her mate, Oberon. In the course of seeking justice for crimes committed against her by Vidar, the First of Shorix, many of her own crimes are also revealed. Severe consequences rain down upon them both. Meanwhile, Oberon has fallen victim to another deadly threat, an extremely contagious virus that can penetrate spheres. The couple are no longer alone in their peril. Gale has become pregnant, which the Firsts consider to be the worst crime possible, one that is punishable by instant execution. The only option for survival is for the family to flee Pax for good, but how to do that safely is another problem entirely. Can they escape with their lives, or will their pasts always haunt and pursue them? Will this new disease bring all their hopes crashing down, killing millions in the process? What new and extraordinary abilities will their baby exhibit?

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is a love story. It is a journey through horrendous grief, traveling through unbelievable shock to a destination of giving, sharing love in the way it is supposed to be--universal. When I read Marlys in Heaven some time ago, my heart was deeply touched. This book is what was done with those memories. How does our culture see love? Romantic, and certainly, this was a huge part of recovery. Love is vast. I'm reminded of my high school motto: Amor Vincit Omnia. Love conquers all. When I read on, I realized that these two amazing people took that pain and, together with their faith, did so much to bring love to the less fortunate. They didn't just accept the churches' teachings; they examined who would touch their hearts and souls to do so much for Marlys's memory. It is that love that sustains them to this day. Overcoming is not the same as getting over. Simply, that beloved daughter will always remain the Grand Canyon of their hearts as they continue on their spiritual path. It seems to me they have planted beautiful flowers in that canyon in memory of the lovely Marlys. In their case, there is a strong practical aspect. The reality is that people are suffering all over the world. Fran and John have done so much to alleviate that condition. I am writing the effect this book had on me. Nothing I say will do it justice. It is a must-read for all. Not only does it highlight the huge risks they had to take, the decisions they made, the disappointment, setbacks, joys. It is a testament to Marlys, who turned grief into intense love and commitment. I am reminded of a tapestry that hangs on my office door from the Dalai Lama: This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples. No need for complicated philosophies. My brain and my heart are my temples. My philosophy is kindness. This is how I see Fran and John. They have taken what was the unthinkable and made it into a vibrant memorial to the beautiful Marlys. This is the sentence that summed it all up for me: "When driving along the Saint Croix River Fran said... 'I miss Marlys but I have my memories. I need to live with what I have now. Just keep driving.'" So that's what they did and are still doing--driving on. Yvonne Kaye, PhD, MSC www.yvonnekayewisdom.com
