Book Synopsis Quantum Computing From The Ground Up by : Riley Tipton Perry
Download or read book Quantum Computing From The Ground Up written by Riley Tipton Perry and published by World Scientific Publishing Company. This book was released on 2012-07-11 with total page 257 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Quantum computing — the application of quantum mechanics to information — represents a fundamental break from classical information and promises to dramatically increase a computer's power. Many difficult problems, such as the factorization of large numbers, have so far resisted attack by classical computers yet are easily solved with quantum computers. If they become feasible, quantum computers will end standard practices such as RSA encryption. Most of the books or papers on quantum computing require (or assume) prior knowledge of certain areas such as linear algebra or quantum mechanics. The majority of the currently-available literature is hard to understand for the average computer enthusiast or interested layman. This text attempts to teach quantum computing from the ground up in an easily readable way, providing a comprehensive tutorial that includes all the necessary mathematics, computer science and physics.

Book Synopsis Quantum Cybernetics by : Gerhard Grössing
Download or read book Quantum Cybernetics written by Gerhard Grössing and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2012-12-06 with total page 160 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Written for non-specialists, this book discusses the apparent conflict between relativity and quantum mechanics. The author proposes a resolution based on a causal interpretation introduced by Louis deBroglie and elaborated by David Bohm. He shows that a "medium" or "aether" may be introduced in a manner consistent with both relativity and quantum theory, and which allows the two theories to be unified via the identification of circularly causal processes at their core. While several crucial experiments are discussed in detail, the mathematics is kept simple, making the discussion accessible to a wide audience.

Download or read book Quantum Computing written by IntroBooks and published by IntroBooks. This book was released on 2018-02-22 with total page 26 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In recent years it computing developed with great speed. According to scientist Gordon Earl Moore, the number of transistors on a processor would double every 24 months or so. Transistors are the fundamental elements for a processor to perform calculations. Therefore, this prediction known as Moore's Law means that the processing power of a computer would double every two years. Regularly see companies like Intel and AMD launch ever faster processors. For this, it is necessary to manipulate portions of the increasingly smaller area. But there is a limit to this. When transistors are beginning to be made with only a few molecules, it is difficult to reduce its size further and thus increase the capacity of our electronics. Therefore, quantum computing is the science that studies the use of quantum mechanics to perform computational processing.

Book Synopsis Universal Quantum Computing: Supervening Decoherence - Surmounting Uncertainty by : Richard L Amoroso
Download or read book Universal Quantum Computing: Supervening Decoherence - Surmounting Uncertainty written by Richard L Amoroso and published by World Scientific. This book was released on 2017-01-23 with total page 633 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This breakthrough volume touts having dissolved the remaining barriers to implementing Bulk Universal Quantum Computing (UQC), and as such most likely describes the most advanced QC development platform. Numerous books, hundreds of patents, thousands of papers and a Googolplex of considerations fill the pantheon of QC R&D. Of late QC mathemagicians claim QCs already exist; but by what chimeric definition. Does flipping a few qubits in a logic gate without an algorithm qualify as quantum computing? In physics, theory bears little weight without rigorous experimental confirmation, less if new, radical or a paradigm shift. This volume develops quantum computing based on '3rd regime' physics of Unified Field Mechanics (UFM). What distinguishes this work from a myriad of other avenues to UQC under study? Virtually all R&D paths struggle with technology and decoherence. If highly favored room-sized cryogenically cooled QCs ever become successful, they would be reminiscent of the city block-sized Eniac computer of 1946. The QC prototype proposed herein is room temperature and tabletop. It is dramatically different in that it is not confined to the limitations of quantum mechanics; since it is based on principles of UFM the Uncertainty Principle and Decoherence no longer apply. Thus this QC model could be implemented on any other quantum platform!
